Attempting to Correct "THE MESSAGE"

I have read "The Message" and I like it. As I read it, I noted some points
that possibly need corrections. I let you all review my post and let us make
this translation the best English translation of the Recitation.- THE MISSING ?BASMALLAH?
One of the strangest aspects of the printed Scripture is the lack of a
?Basmallah? at the beginning of chapterInformation written regarding
this subject....
SHOULD "INFORMATION" NOT BE REPLACED BY " 9" ??
In reviewing the older written texts, it was found that the ability to
realize the separation between chapters 8 and 9, without a Basmallah,
was nearly impossible without referring to the man-made injection of
the chapter name to highlight the beginning of a new chapter.

arrogant ones?If you're an Arabic speaker, you should know that this is a mistranslation. In old Arabic texts, the words "ibyadda" and "iswadda" were often used to describe general expressions, namely happiness and sadness. So, translating the word "muswaddaatun" as BLACKENED is incorrect, and it should say that the faces of those people would be saddened or gloomy. The same applies to 3106 and 107, where most of the racist Islamic scholars translated the expressions as the faces of the righteous ones being "white" and the faces of the wicked ones being "black" (or dark). This is not Quranic, and it should also be corrected in the PM translation.

Brothers,
A translation is what you understand of what. The languages always fall short of sensing the reality. So think above the language and sense what Allah wants to convey and say "O Allah, the Master of the Wor(ld)s, Increase me in my knowledge!" This prayer is a must before you open up your lines on Quran.
Quran is for following; let us fear and follow seeking His Help all the Way. Allah shows us the prayer "Show us the Straight Path; the path of those who You have Blessed; not of those..." If I say my meaning is correct then let it reflect in my life and let the fruits that I reap of it be the example and illumination for the fellow people to correct their understanding for a meaningful change towards the right course; and thereafter inspiring them to think beyond the languages; but sad enough we are materialistically and literally approaching Quran only for debate with little adoption to it.
I am not preaching; just saying what I am.

IS "CORRUPT IN IT" GOOD ENGLISH ? WHY WAS THIS PHRASE CHOSEN ?
WHY NOT "CORRUP IT" ???231 And He taught Adam the names of all things, then He displayed
them to the angels and said ?Inform Me the names of these if you are
truthful.?
IS THERE NO "OF" MISSING AFTER "INFORM ME" ?233 He said ?O Adam, inform them of their names,? so when he
informed them of their names, He said ?Did I not tell you that I know
the unseen of heavens and Earth, and that I know what you reveal and
what you were hiding??
MAY BE A "THE" IS MISSING BEFORE HEAVENS AND BEFORE EARTH ????235 And We said ?O Adam, reside you and your mate in the paradise,
and eat from it bountifully as you both wish, and do not approach this
tree, else you will be of those who did wrong.?
WHAT DOES PARADISE MEAN ? SHOULD WE KNOW USE ITS TRANSLATION INSTEAD ?267 And Moses said to his people ?God orders you to slaughter a
heifer.? They said ?Do you mock us?? He said ?I seek refuge with God
that I not be of the ignorant ones.?
IS "THAT I NOT BE" GOOD ENGLISH ?? I NEED TO CHECK MYSELF.269 They said ?Call upon your Lord for us that He may clarify what
color it is.? He said ?He says it is a yellow heifer with a strong color,
pleasing to those who see it.?
DO "YELLOW HEIFER EXIST" ?274 Then your hearts became hardened after that, they became like
stone or even harder; but even from the stones there are rivers that burst
forth, or from them are those that crack so that the water comes forth, or

to Him we are in service.

distinguish who follows the messenger from those who will turn on their
heels. It was a great thing indeed except for those whom God had guided;
God was not to waste your belief. God is Merciful and Compassionate
over the people.
MAKE THE FOCAL POINT THAT YOU "BECAME" OR "CAME" ????2187 It has been made lawful for you during the night of fasting to
approach your women sexually. They are a garment for you and you are
a garment for them. God knows that you used to betray your souls so He
has accepted your repentance, and forgiven you; now you may approach
them and seek what God has written for you. And you may eat and drink
until the white thread is distinct from the black thread of dawn; then
you shall complete the fast until night; and do not approach them while
you are devoted in the temples. These are God?s boundaries, so do not
transgress them...9112 They are the repenters, the worshipers, the thankful, the devout,
the kneeling, the prostrating, the advocates of good and preventers of evil,
and the keepers of the boundaries of God; and give good news to the
believers.THE WORD "BOUNDARIES" IS USED TWICE IN THE TRANSLATION FOR THE SAME
MEANING AS "LIMIT". "LIMIT" APPEARS IN MANY OTHER VERSES

34 From before as a guidance for the people, and He sent down the

IS THE WORD "EXTRACTING" OR "EXACTING" ?326 Say ?Our god, Possessor of kingship; you grant kingship to whom
You please, and revoke kingship from whom You please, and honor whom
You please, and humiliate whom You please; in Your hand is goodness.
You are capable of all things.?IN THIS VERSE god DOES NOT START WITH A CAPITAL "G"
329 Say ?If you hide what is in your chests or you reveal it, God will
know.? And He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the Earth;
and God is capable of all things.
SHOULD IT NOT BE "WHETHER" INSTEAD OF "IF" AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VERSE ?349 And as a messenger to the Children of Israel ?I have come to you
with a sign from your Lord; that I create for you from clay the form of a
bird, then I blow into it and it becomes a bird by God?s leave, and I heal
the blind and the leapers, and give life to the dead by God?s leave, and I
prophesize for you what you shall eat and....
WHO ARE THE LEAPERS ? DID YOU NOT MEAN LEPERS ?3161 It was not for any prophet that he should embezzle, and he who embezzles
will be brought with what he has embezzled on the Day of Resurrection, then
every soul will be given what it has earned without being wronged.
IF YOU LOOK AT THE ACTUAL VERSE IN THE PDF FILE , THE FIRST LINE HAS NO SPACE BETWEEN
THE WORDS.3163 They are grades with God, and God is seer of what they do.
MAY BE "THERE ARE GRADES" ??? IS REALLY A "THEY" THAT IS THERE ?
IS THERE NO WORD MISSING ???
MAY "IN" BEFORE "GRADES" ????3184 If they reject you, then messengers before you were also rejected;
they came with proofs and scriptures and the book of enlightenment.
I HAVE SEEN IN 2 PLACES THAT WHAT HAS BEEN TRANSLATED INTO SCRIPTURES
IN THIS VERSE COULD ACTUALLY REFER TO THE PSALMS. PLEASE
COULD ANY ARABIC SPEAKING ONE ANALYZE THAT VERSE AGAIN ?ALSO IS "book of enlightenment" not meant to be written with capital letters
as in "Book of Englightenment" ? does this not refer to a scripture preceding the Qur'an ?QURAN MEANS RECITATION, WHY IS IT NOT TRANSLATED ACCORDINGLY IN THE TEXT ??
TO ME IT MAKES MORE SENSE. IT CONVEYS THE MEANING THAT IT IS A RECITATION
AND THAT IT PROBABLY SHOULD BE RECITED TO INSTEAD OF JUST READING IN THE MIND.

53 Forbidden to you is that which is already dead, and the blood,

IS "AGRESS AGAINST" GOOD ENGLISH ???IS IT TRUE THAT THE EXPRESSION TRANSLATED AS ETERNALLY IN THE CASE OF
HELL MEANS A LONG TIME ?????

punished those who disbelieved. Such is the recompense of the rejecters.940 If you do not help him, then God has helped him. When those
who rejected expelled him, he was one of only two, and when they were
in the cave, he said to his friend ?Do not grieve, for God is with us.? So
God sent down calmness over him ...IS THE ARABIC WORD THAT HAS BEEN TRANSLATED INTO TRANQUILITY IN 926 AND INTO
CALMNESS IN 940 THE SAME ??? IF YES WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN RENDERED INTO THE SAME

So do not let him take you out from the paradise, else you will have
hardship.?
CAPITAL LETTER FROM "PARADISE2156 He said ?No, your lord is the Lord of heavens and Earth, the One

HEAVENS IS MISSING ITS CAPITAL "H" -
2568 And those who do not call on any other god with God, nor do they
kill the life that God has made forbidden except in justice, nor do they

PLEASE CAN ANYONE RE-CHECK THE TRANSLATION OF THE LAST PART OF THE VERSE.
IT HAS SHOCKED ME I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE A "NOT" BEFORE "RECEIVE"2572 And those who do not bear false witness, and if they pass by vein
talk they pass by with dignity.
"VEIN" OR "VAIN" TALK ?2574 And those who say ?Our Lord, grant us from our mates and our
progeny what will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us role models
the righteous.?
IS THERE NOT A "FOR" MISSING BEFORE "THE RIGHTEOUS" ?2649 He said ?Have you believed to him before I permitted you? He
is surely your
"BELIEVE IN" OR "BELIEVE TO"2670 When he said to his father and his people ?What do you
worship??
THE WORD TRANSLATED AS WORSHIP, IS IT THE SAME AS THE ONE TRANSLATED AS SERVE IN
THE FIRST CHAPTER ? -
2850 But if they fail to respond to you, then know that they follow only
their desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire,
without guidance from God? God does not guide the wicked people.
PLEASE CHECK THE ARABIC VERSION TO SEE IF THE SECOND "DESIRE" IS NOT MEANT TO BE PLURAL2855 And if they come across vain talk, they disregard it and say ?To
us are our deeds, and to you is your deeds. Peace be upon you. We do not
seek the ignorant.?
PLEASE CHECK IF IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE "TO YOU ARE YOUR DEEDS" INSTEAD OF
"TO YOU IS YOUR DEEDS"2917 ?You are worshipping nothing but idols besides Him, and you are
creating fabrications. Those that you worship besides God do not possess
for you any provisions, so seek with God the provision and serve Him and
be thankful to Him; to Him you will return.?
PLEASE CHECK IN THE ARABIC VERSION WHETHER THE SECOND "PROVISION" SHOULD BE PLURAL3331 Any whosoever of you is dutiful to God and His messenger, and
does good works, We will grant her double the recompense, and We have
prepared for her a generous provision.
"ANY WHOSOEVER" IS THAT GOOD ENGLISH ?3356 God and His angels commune over prophet. O you who believe,
you shall commune over him, and comply completely.
IS THERE NOT A "THE" MISSING BEFORE PROPHET ?349 Have they not seen to all that is before them and behind them,
in the heaven and the Earth?
IS "SEEN TO " GOOD ENGLISH ?
DO WE SAY "SEE TO SOMETHING" OR "SEE SOMETHING" ?3416 But they turned away, so We sent them a destructive flash flood,
and We substituted their two gardens into two gardens of rotten fruits,
thorny plants, and a skimpy harvest.
CAN WE SAY "SUBSTITUTE INTO " ? I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT "SUBSTITUTE WITH/BY"3432 Those who were mighty will say to those who were weak ?Did
we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? No, it was
you who were criminal.?
MAY BE AN "S" AT THE END OF CRIMINAL ? -
4037 ?The secrets of the heavens, and that I can take a look at the god
of Moses, although I think he is a liar.?

PLEASE CHECK ARABIC VERSION419 Say ?You are rejecting the One who created the Earth in two
days, and you set up equals with Him. This is Lord of the worlds.?
"THE" MISSING BEFORE "LORD" ??4517 And We gave them clarity in the matter, but then they disputed
after the knowledge had come to them, out ofjealousy amongst themselves.
SPACE CHARACTER MISSING BETWEEN "OF" AND "JEALOUSY"4625 It destroys everything by the commanded of its Lord. Thus they
became such that nothing could be seen except their homes. We thus
requite the criminal people.
"COMMAND" OR "COMMANDED" ? CAN ANYONE PLEASE CHECK ARABIC VERSION ?4629 And We directed to you a company of Jinn, in order to let them
listen to theQur?an. So when...

Then, when it was finished, they returned to their people, to warn them.
IS "PAY ATTENTION" THE EXPRESSION TRANSLATED IN OTHER PLACES AS "TAKE HEED" ?4724 Do they not reflect on the Qur?an? Or are there locks on their hearts?
SPACE CHARACTER MISSING BETWEEN "THE" AND "QUR'AN"4737 IfHe were to ask you for it, to the extent of creating a hardship for
you, you would become stingy, and your hidden evil might be exposed.

755 No, man desires that he continue committing sins.
