Refuting the 2 Salaat Theory

...but what we need to do is establish together as Qur'anist Muslims if we are proclaiming aloud that we as Qur'anist muslims pray to Allah two or three times a day and lets right up a manual explaining the form of prayer in which we pray to Allah. Lets set up Masjids for Qur'anists Muslims ! We are not another sect of muslims like the Shia and the Sunni. We are muslims which the Qur'an proclaims. No more division lets stop the debate put are think tanks together and say look this is it.

i can understand your point regarding saudi arabia....... But Egypt ???IS egypt different?

IS egypt different?
Peace
Yes, you can not put Egypt and saudi arabia in the same basket regarding Laws. in egypt there is no hand amputation in theft punishement, they only go to minor jail sentence, infact the crime rate is rising as many roberries take place in the middle of the days in a crowded areas with the thieves being untouched. also there is no stoning, you can say no punishment at all to fornication or adultary. In deliberate killing there is a death punishment but this is the case in many western countaries.Good point. To a westerner the laws in Egypt are scary too
would you provide examples.

That is interesting. So Egypt has very similar laws to western countries? We are always told that all Arab countries have the same laws. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Is Egypt predominantly Shiite or Sunni? I know there is a large(ish) group of Christians there too, but I am trying to work out which is the more tolerant.
The vast majority iare sunni, as you said large group are christians (orthodox), regarding shiite very little if any.
-
So would you say that, overall, the Sunnis are more tolerant?
Can't tell, as far as i know countaries with shiite and christians livig together as lebanon and iraq there is no major conflict between them. i think the conflict is more between sectors of the same religions(sunni and shiite, protostant and catholics, ......)

Yes, I understand that, it is such a shame.

I thought all Islamic countries shared the same laws as well. But still there are similiarities even though some are different. Such as the amputating limbs as punishment might not happen in Egypt but however I have read that Muslims in Egypt that had turned around to become Christians were thrown in prison. Also Qura'nists are subjected to high scrutiny. Thanks for clearing things up about the difference between the two countries laws.

Salaam,
Islamic laws are generally the polar opposite to Islam, I can give you an example, these criminals who have corrupted Islamic law with contrived laws should be exposed for what they were or are; my example
