Perhaps this is just what you need to raise your spirits, being around others that love God as much as you do.

Well said! But it is not True that All People in This Forum Truly Love God

Alen tell that to some of the wretches on here that all they want to do is pick a fight. I say let em fight among themselfs if they have to but I will have no part of it.

        Peace,
        Respectfully.

Nobdoy is fighting and if you think that this is a forum about a fight, then i must say you're really wrong. I was just being myself at the mosque here in London and they kicked me out and wanted to kill me just because i believe different, so trust me, what we do on this forum is not a fight.

Let's start a dialogue and even though i appreciate your answers, try to make them short and direct.
I can see that you're educated and the fact that you have Faith is a big plus.
        Stay.
You shouldn't be depressed, i'm not depressed and i have experienced and i'ms till experiencing such stuff you wouldn't believe.

        Peace.

I don't understand why they would want to kill you. What did you do (or say) that would upset them so much? - Remember I do not understand the differences.

I don't eat like them, i don't eat with my right hand, i lie down on my belly, i don't pray like they pray, i don't raise my hands like you see them and i don't believe in the authenticity of the hadith books, that was the last bullet. They took that as an insult and called a curse and death upon me. They have said that if this was Arabia, they would slaughter me, i told them that The Quran is Clear to all humans because God does not want hardship on us but they insisted that The Quran is not Clear to all of us, that we need to listen to imams and scholars who will explain The Word of God to us all - for a reasonable price of course.

I was discussing several subjects with them. I told them that ther eis no such a thing as chopping off a hand of a thief in Islam and according to The Quran and after i provided Quranic verses, they abandoned those and went to hadith. They also quoted Quranic verses that i provided and said that i don't understand them because i got the bad translation of The Quran.

They hate me because i can read and understand The Quran without hadith.
They want to have the upper hand and the fact is simple - they will never have the upper hand, hence the wars and losses Iraq invaded Iran, then Juwait. Two wars in Iraq from USA, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, Somalia, Gaza, Palestine - what does this tell you?

That war only happens where there are idol-worshippers.

No war in USA, Europe. Now why is that? here's why Because potential Believers live there. People who accept God and follow His Book and who obey Him. Glory be to The Exalted God The Most Powerful, The Most Merciful, The Most Wise.

This sounds very much like Christianity a few hundred years ago when you were put to death if you dared to question the Catholic Church, which is why there are now so many non Catholic Christians. They will lose in the end.

                Peace Alen,

I think you should have explained what Hadiths are.

                @ rev. John
They are collections of hearsay stories allegedly from the Prophet Muhammad, although they were compiled about 200 years after his death, mostly or only by Persian (Zoroastrian) Imams (scholars, spiritual/congregational leaders, etc.). They include many illogical stories, contradictions and insults to the Prophet. Sadly, most Muslims follow them/acknowledge them as a source of their religion besides the Quran.

                Some of them include

"During the pre-lslamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them."

"Bad omen is in the woman, the horse and the home."

"If a monkey, a black dog or a woman passes in front of a praying person, his prayer is nullified."

"No Muslim should be killed for killing a Kafir (infidel)".

"The Prophet never urinated in a standing position."
"The Prophet urinated in a standing position."

"The earth is carried on a giant bull; when it shakes its head, then an earthquake occurs"

"The Prophet had been bewitched by a Jew, and for several days he did not know what he was doing"

"Allahs Apostle drank milk, rinsed his mouth and said, 'It has fat'."

Just issue orders to kill every Jew in the country.

Because Allah afflicted Eve, all of the women of this world menstruate and are stupid.

There are also some that talk about the alleged sex life of Muhammad and other gross things

"The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa'id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven).

I still remember when I was five years old, the Holy Prophet rinsed his mouth and then spat the water into mine

The Quran forbids following any teachings other than/besides God's. The Quran even mentions the word "Hadith"

316 Among the people, there are those who accept baseless hadiths to mislead from the path of God without knowledge, and they take it as entertainment. These will have a humiliating retribution.

317 When Our signs/verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he did not hear them, as if there is deafness in his ears. So announce to him a painful retribution.

7750 So in which hadith after it (Quran) will they believe?

There are many more. Browse the forum to see more examples.

                Peace

This sounds very much like the stories that the early Catholic church made up and are now firmly entrenched in Christian dogma.

Mary being a virgin, Jesus being the only begotten son of God, and many many others

Very scientific, right? The worst one is the one with rinsing the mouth. This is not only gross, but also a disgusting insult to Prophet Muhammad.

This is what mainstream Muslims follow and acknowledge as a secondary source besides the Quran. This is where all the stupid ideas come from that they have (of course also out of ignorance). The Islam mostly practiced today (even by the average "moderate" mainstream Muslim) is severely corrupted. Believe it or not, but DVDs are not allowed for the one that are really strict. They are told by their so-called "scholars" that if they burn their 5000 dollars worth of DVD collection instead of selling it (because their not allowed to sell "forbidden" things), they will get rewards from God. Yeah right! Did someone tell them that being wasteful is forbidden? nope

By the way, why can't you eat with your left hand? I am left handed. Or is it the same as the old Christian belief from the middle ages that if you were left handed, you were a child of the devil? And what if you have lost your right hand?

                                  Wow, weakest argument yet.

First, the Quran tells Muhammad not to elaborate on the verses of the Quran. I believe this is a given. Therefore, the quoted verse in this video somewhat distorts it from it's pure Arabic format.

Second, the hadithist used a hadith to support his argument that the hadith is necessary. Priceless.

The hadith itself is also retarded. What could have possibly been given to Muhammad, other than the Quran? The "sunna" or the "hadith?" rotfl rotfl rotfl aren't they one and the same? Hadithist say the sunna is from the hadith, yet they're two different things...I guess hadithists don't have brains after all.

Hadithists then claim it's the "sunna" he was given, knowing that the hadith wasn't produced until much later (some claim the hadith was preserved and protected like the Quran and is as old as the Quran. Yeah okay.) Alright, so God gave Muhammad the Final Testament...and the life practices of Muhammad...which include the way to take a sh1t and what to say to your wife during intercourse.

Basically, then, God states "I have sent down to you my revelation and..your individual hobbies and practices."

                                  brickwall confused

Well put man. The last paragraph made me laugh! rotfl rotfl

                                      Peace Alen,
I think you should have explained what Hadiths are.

                                      Peace,
                                      Respectfully.

I did. I explained them very politly and without insulting them, i said, hadith contradict The Quran, themselves and common sense, then they called the curse and death upon me if i'm a liar and then they started calling me a kaffir and here i am away from them, good, good, this is good.

I never lied their company either, well, except for the few sunnis with whom i was able to talk to about hadith because even though they knew i rejected them, they still treated me with respect and they still do, we still hang out almost every day, because they also have same problems like me - no accomodation, no job and lots of Patience and Huge Strength, Thank God.

God describes them very well and clearly in His Quran deaf, dumb and blind.

                                      Peace.

I haven't confronted anyone about them, except for my MIL and my husband. My MIL said it is a "sin" to question the hadiths, but my husband is a little more willing to listen to me. It's like chipping at a rock with a toothpick, he doesn't seem to listen to anything and gets angry right away when questioned. I say a little bit to him at a time, to let it sink in - because I know that he's listening but he's stubborn.
He's said to me that if I was in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia I'd be killed for my ideas.
                                        Sound familiar Alen??
He's willing to do a "Qur'an study" with me weekly, so I'm going to pull up different themes (i.e. what the Qur'an says about intercession, the prophets being equal, etc). but not argue about the hadiths, but show him so he'll be aware what the Qur'an says.
