How do you feel or sense "his" presence , i.e thru eyes, ears,..thoughts?
Not through any of those really, it is hard to explain, it is just an inner feeling, like the feeling you get when you know someone loves you, only more so. Also a feeling of inner peace. That doesn't explain it really but it is the closest I can get.

Now how do you discover or develop this feeling , is it all in the mind or something else?
Is it God consciousness (Taqwa)? -
I think you are already one.
262 Surely those who acknowledge, and those who are Jewish, and the Christians, and those who follow other religions, any one of them who acknowledge God and the Last day, and do reform, they will have their reward with their Lord, with no fear over them, nor will they grieve.
3122 Those who submit completely to God, while leading a righteous life, have gotten hold of the strongest bond. To God all matters will return.
Shall I change my first name to Tobias or Tariq now?? O0

No, I didn't convince myself because I firmly believed that he didn't. God convinced me.
Sorry, the usage of "you" was not directed to you per se. but more as a third person.
I am still curious about the method or the process in your case (you=you) in which "God convinced" you. That he is out their. and he is loving you and if it started with you thinking about life or is it feeling you got suddenly one day.
This love stuff sounds more like sufism. -

This love stuff sounds more like sufism. There were many reasons, the death of my father, the fact that I have died twice so far but been revived, etc. You can call it what you like, I am just a one-God christian

Hi,
I am Thomas. I have a new name.I am Thomas Lane. I have been in the forum for a little time compared to others. I just wanted everyone to know that I changed my name in the forum to Dariush. I was unable to do this by editing my profile, so I made a new account. I have many friends in Persia. I like the name Dariush, and hence I call myself Dariush for the purposes of this forum and site. I love this site!! O0
I know that Jesus is a prophet as the Christian scriptures plainly tell us this fact. Jesus tells us on many occasions that there is One God and that none are equal to Him. Jesus also says that equality with God should not be the goal of a seeker. Jesus also tells us that nobody knows the day or the hour of the Judgement Day, not even him. If Jesus was a personality within the Trinity, as polytheistic Christians assert, he would surely know the day and the time. He would also know what people were thinking, rather than sensing their overall disposition toward the message of God that he was proclaiming. Is it wrong, however, to hold Jesus up in high regard, though not higher than God and not God's partner in the redemption of God's people?

I agree with you. I don't think it is wrong to hold Jesus in high regard (after all, I am a Christian Minister) but I do believe it is completely wrong to say Jesus was (is) God, or the only begotten son of God.

2136 Say, "We acknowledge God and what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Patriarchs, what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord; we do not make a distinction between any of them and to Him we submit."
384 Say, "We acknowledge God and what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Patriarchs, and what was given to Moses, Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We do not discriminate between them, and to Him we submit."

Why did you change your name?

So, then we hold all of our prophets in high regard, but we do not make distinctions between them. Now it is clear to me. We glorify God alone. My head has been polluted by Nicaea.
@ progressive1993...I changed to Dariush because everyone else has interesting usernames. My user name was like dry white toast.
