So if whatever was mentioned by the pastor according to the evidences is true, the quran has gross 'caucasian eccentric' errors. With regards especially to the pharoah stories. The scribes (8211 Honorable scribes.) just wrote everything down without thinking? Hey they were just doing their jobs, right? Just happily translating away...
So the messenger of covenant is yet to come to prove the authenciy of the quran if it can be proven it has got a load of errors? Any historical records of black men raping white and near white women and stuff in egypt as per quranic verses? ...Even if they had turned things the other way round, it should have been black folks running to europe!!!

Arabs stealing limestone to build mosques...the freaking pillar at M#@$# looks like an obelisk...

All i could see now is white/near white(esp. northern hindus) people oppressing the development of black/near black folks...

Oh yeah....Quran is complete...sure.. what is michael then?

Thank Goodness the quran does not say God is white...or the pharoah was black...apologists still have a chance..Just thinking out loud!!!!!!

      Again......

There is no such thing as the Pharaoh!

Firaun is a proper noun. And Mitzraim is not Kemet.

I think Firaon of the Quran is Sargon of Akkad(Notice the R and the N) and all of the story of Moses might have occured in Mesopotamia. Thats why Moses had a 'SUMERIAN' with him.

            Peace.

Egypt in the Quran is Misr. But Misr in the Quran is not a country. It is somekind of Market place. This evidenced in the story of Joseph.

1299 Then when they entered the presence of Joseph, he provided a home for his parents with himself, and said "Enter ye Egypt in safety if it please Allah."

1221 The man who bought him from Egypt, said to his wife "Make his stay (among us) honourable may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not.

Now read the above two verses very carefully. Joseph is telling his brothers while they are in front of him 'Enter Egypt'! like where were they when they met him. Joseph was bought from Egypt. So Egypt is a marketplace separate from the villages. Pharaoh and his groups are militants who took it by force and oppressed the surrounding people. Thats why the Israelites inherited the land later on.

It's misr in the bible as well. And putting the events of misr (from the bible) to the east explains why there were horses and why Hajar returned to her native land by heading east rather than west to Egypt.

                  Edit meant camels not horses.

Firstly Rami, you seem to have used the word 'enter' as if it is a market place, can I point out that the verse also says 1299 Then when they entered the presence of Joseph, so does that also imply to you that Joseph's presence is a market place?

When Joseph's brothers came to Egypt they did not know who he was. The same story is in Genesis 42 about Joseph in Egypt, his father and brothers. Read it, it might clear things up for you. Josephs Misr and Moses Misr are the same place which is Egypt.

Misr is a town with extensive business activity, and Joseph's presence is simply the place Joseph lived in. But they could be the same place and simply Joseph is in control about who can stay in Misr. The problem is Misr in the Quran is in contradiction with Egypt.

                            Peace.

How is Misr in Quran in contradiction with Egypt?

One striking difference is that of agriculture. Misr of Joseph depends on rainfall for agriculture, but Egypt always depended on the Nile.

Plus, note Moses was thrown in the 'Yam' and Pharaoh also drowned in a 'Yam'. So either Pharaoh's Egypt is different than Joseph's Egypt and the word Misr denote any village with business activity and agriculture (Note 'Misran' used in the Quran properly translated 'a Misr&#039. Another theory is that Moses was thrown into a sea and not a river.

I searched about the Nile drying up in the past. Zip. So if someone knows anything about the Nile or the Euphrates river drying up, I would like to know.

Archaeologists are sick and tired of going after biblical stories, so they wont help anytime soon. I don't blame them.

26.63 Then We told Moses by inspiration "Strike the sea (l-bara) with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain.

both yam and bahra seem to mean a large body of water but the one Moses was thrown in was yam and the one Pharaoh drown in was bahra

this was after the famine! This doesnt say this place relies on rainfall to produce

7136 So We exacted retribution from them We drowned them in the sea(YAM), because they rejected Our Signs and failed to take warning from them.
as I said both words are large body of water and I have showed you the verse that Moses parted the bahri and verses after this are about Pharaoh coming after him and drowning.

Did the Nile ever dry up for seven whole years??
does it say it did? crops can fail due to other things and not just water.

What is the source of inflow of water into Nile? Can its mere presence and not fully drying up sufficient to ensure irrigation in Misr?

1249 "Then after that will come a calendar year in which the people will have abundant rain and which they will be able to produce once again."

Despite me recognizing that agriculture of Joseph's land were not depend on Nile, but 1249 doesn't mention about a rainfall.

Nile delta is a plentiful land than other agriculture areas in Middle East. Egyptians were able to harvest whole year, which means, their agriculture was not depend on calendar.

He said Ye shall sow seven years as usual, but that which ye reap, leave it in the ear, all save a little which ye eat.

This verse tells something like that they were living in a land where their agriculture depends on calendar. Joseph tells them to do not eat whole harvest which they were collected for coming next winter/fall as usual. He is warning them to add each year's harvest to previous year's harvest. It seems like they were collecting year's harvest already for winter/fall before but this time he suggesting to do not waste all of them.

                                          Peace.
