Despite me recognizing that agriculture of Joseph's land were not depend on Nile, but 1249 doesn't mention about a rainfall.

Nile delta is a plentiful land than other agriculture areas in Middle East. Egyptians were able to harvest whole year, which means, their agriculture was not depend on calendar.

He said Ye shall sow seven years as usual, but that which ye reap, leave it in the ear, all save a little which ye eat.

This verse tells something like that they were living in a land where their agriculture depends on calendar. Joseph tells them to do not eat whole harvest which they were collected for coming next winter/fall as usual. He is warning them to add each year's harvest to previous year's harvest. It seems like they were collecting year's harvest already for winter/fall before but this time he suggesting to do not waste all of them.

    Peace.

he knew the famine was coming after the 7 years of plenty

The nile does depend on calendar, its floods once a year and before the dam deposited the rich black silt which was used in the fields. Joseph was storing for the famine years, not for winter this time

I know that, I tried to tell they were already collecting harvest for famine season (winter/fall) every year. But this time Joseph warning them to do not waste them in winter/fall because of upcoming drought.

The nile does depend on calendar,

It may.. but agriculture not, if sun and water exist whole year.

the story of Joseph never spoke about any faraon, the story of moses it did , between joseph and moses there's more than 400 years according to history, so the story of joseph could have happed in another city or country wich is or was close to the pharaons land, or before the pharaons maybe, i don't know, the jews tempered so much with the old covenant that u can't really know what was true and what was made up, i know the old covenant was written by 4 different tribes, u insult our prophet so we insult your prephet, that's how it was written and that's how we find a lot of thinigs that doesn't make sens, like prophets adulteres and incest and all, just like hadith , so if joseph wasn't in a pharos land as said in the quran, than i believe that he wasn't, the problem of archeologists is that most of them go do their research with christian truth in mind, and so do the archelogists jews, just like if a shi'a archelogist go for search, hel'll be looking for ali's cloths or hassan's killer or the sword of hussein or something like that, so does a sunni or a hindou, well, joseph's ruler's name was alazziz, i don't know if i'm right or wrong for i'm not a koran scholar, salam, peace
