Pride may or may not be included. Yes, one can feel proud after exposing a hypocrite and a follower of falsehood. I guess it's natural but at the same time God doesn't like people who boast.
You know a lot of these imams and priests uphold satanic teachings (that originated from pagan areas like Greece) such as stoning adulterers, killing converters, undermining women and stripping them of their god-given status as well as pedophilia (since they even satanically admitted that having sex with prepubescent girls is ok. The fact they used the verse that has "and if they do not menstruate" in it to uphold his belief shows they're not only satanic but ignorant as well of the fact that there are grown women who don't menstruate for certain medical reasons), upon other false teachings.
And if I'm not mistaken...God supports the fight against falsehood and most definitely regards the Quran as a source of true confirmation of facts. The sunni's don't even use it half the time (they're too busy shoving hadith in your face just to prove these hadith are valid, by far the most idiotic method of debating) while of course misusing the Quran or ignorant of clear verses like 456, 6836-39 proving the 6 sunni books of hadith having nothing to do with God and his messenger.

Rev John For every muslim the duty to seek knowledge should begin with Duaa or prayer, asking God for guidance in this journey, not all scholars will be accurate and some will be downright treachorous. but with God's help, the knowledge will manifest it self in your life. the quran teaches that Satan will take many of Adam's progeny except those righteous ones that are steadfast in fear and worship of God. What this means that if one starts their day by praying to our creator, they will in due time find the proper guidance, even a fabricated hadith here or there or an incorrect rulling by a sheikh will not shake this foundation. it will only shake the foundations of someone that have fallen from this path (susceptable to Satan due to lapse or ceasing of Fear and worship of the creator).

Rev John, are quoting a Hadith? if so you have come to my domain, which is following the Quran, which tells you to obey the prophet, which has told you to do things which include heavy inphasis on seeking knowledge, these are hadiths, seeking knowledge brings you to explaination as to weak hadiths, explanation of hadith and in some cases rejection of hadiths.

sorry to clarify my previous point, Obeying the prophet is difficult without knowing what he said, which is why we have hadiths.
he taught at many instances the importance of scholarly due diligence, prayer and patience. this combination will guide through the weak, strong, seemlingly contradictory hadiths. If hadiths are complete rubish , Allah will expose them as so, but the interconnected nature of hadith to Quran shows otherwise (overwelmingly) which is why with my very weak background I am confident to debate the 'Quran only' position and Alhamdulilah Allah is showing the cracked platform on which its based. -

not with them in anything. Their matter will be with God, then
He will inform them of what they had done.72 A Book that has been sent down to you, so let there not be any
burden in your chest from it, that you may warn with it; and a

The truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be of those
who doubt.1117 For those who are on a clarity from their Lord, and are followed
by a testimony from Him; and before it was the Book of Moses, a
beacon and a mercy; they will believe in it. And whoever rejects it
from among the parties, then the Fire is his meeting place. So do
not be in any doubt about it. It is the truth from your Lord, but
most of the people do not believe.131 ALMR, these are the signs of the Book. And what has been sent
down to you from your Lord is the truth; but most of the people
do not believe.1338 And We have sent messengers before you and We have made for
them mates and offspring. It was not for a messenger to come
with any sign except with the permission of God; for each period
there is a Book.141 ALR, a Book which We have sent down to you so that you may
bring the people out of the darkness and into the light with
the permission of their Lord, to the path of the Noble, the
Praiseworthy.151 ALR, these are the signs of the Book, and a clear Recitation.
1664 And We did not send down the Book to you except that you may
clarify for them that in which they disputed, and as a guidance
and a mercy for a people who believe.1689 And the Day We send to every nation a witness against them from
themselves, and We have brought you as a witness against these.
And We have sent down to you the Book as a clarification for all
things, and a guide and mercy and good tidings to those who have
submitted.181 Praise to God who sent down the Book to His servant, and He did
not make in it any crookedness.228 And from the people are those who argue regarding God with no
knowledge nor guidance nor enlightening Book.271 T?S, these are the signs of the Recitation and a clear Book.
2849 Say ?Then bring forth a book from God that is better in guidance
so I may follow it, if you are truthful.?2945 Convey what is inspired to you of the Book, and hold the
outreaching, for the outreaching prohibits evil and vice; but
certainly the remembrance of God is the greatest. God knows
everything you do.322 The sending down of this Book, without a doubt, from Lord of
the worlds.3829 A Book that We have sent down to you, that is blessed, so that
they may reflect upon its revelations, and so that those with
intelligence will take heed.393 Absolutely, to God is the true system. And those who set up allies
besides Him ?We only serve them so that they may bring us closer
to God.? God will judge between them in what they dispute. For
God does not guide him who is a liar, a rejecter.3923 God has sent down the best narrative, a Book that is similar with
two paths. The skins of those who are concerned towards their
Lord shiver from it, then their skins and their hearts soften up to
the remembrance of God. Such is the guidance of God; He guides
with it whoever He wills. And for whoever God misguides, then
none can guide him.3941 We have sent down to you the Book for the people with the truth.
Then, whoever is guided is guided for himself, and whoever goes
astray goes astray to his own loss. And you are not a keeper over
them.4070 Those who deny the Book, and what We have sent Our messengers
with. Therefore, they will come to know.413 A Book whose revelations are detailed, a recitation in Arabic for a
people who know.4252 And thus, We inspired to you a revelation of Our command. You
did not know what was the Book, nor what was faith. Yet, We
made this a light to guide whoever We wish from among Our
servants. Surely, you guide to a straight path.A message to everyone, whether you use Quran + ahadith or just Quran or Bible or Torah those who will be guided by God will be guided, and those who God does not guide then there is nothing we can do. Our ultimate goal is to reach righteousness, may God guide us in that search because no man can teach someone to be righteous in my opinion. I guess God's command to lower the gaze (for men and women since the gazing of the female can also excite the man) is meaningless since women have to cover their bodies from head to toe, thus men don't have to put forth any effort in lowering any gaze. God also says to dress righteously so if you're dressing like a ho or trying to get men excited you are not dressing righteously as far as I'm concerned. You keep saying the ahadith are actually from the prophet but if you are to read the link given above, you will know he could not have attributed anything to God but the Quran. I not only provided the verse saying this but others that agree with this fact.
