Pubic Hair and Shaving

Is it in the quran? Or is it against the quran?
Generally speaking when a question like this comes to my head I think Would I get punished for not doing it?
If you approach islam as a system then small things like these don't become a problem. The quran sets parameters and as long as we stay within them then we'll be fine. All commands in the quran telling us not to do something has a rational explanation behind it and not some mystical explanation.
Yes we are told in the quran to keep clean and hygienic....The God has left it upto each and individual one of us on how to do that.
So whether you shave it off or not, its upto you, there is no verse in the quran from my understanding about punishments for not being hygienic.

I know that removal of pubic hair and the keeping of long beards is sunnah according to hadiths, but I don't think I read anything in the Quran about hair removal.
As for shaving the pubic area, well, it could lead to ingrown hairs, and they might get infected, so I guess you could trim if you think it's more hygienic that way.

Apparently the clip clop sound of wooden heels on stone pavement is provocative for the men.
Very strange when you think that they can see nothing of their bodies, since the women cover not only their whole body, hair and face, but even have a gauze veil over their eyes, and so, it's possible that there is a man under the veil... -

yes, soft soled shoes, this was during the time of the Taliban in Afghanistan, so I don't think it's still in effect.
I read it in the Reader's Digest.
They even severely beat up some men because they didn't have beards, and it might have been a racist attack because they were from some East Asian origin ethnic group and didn't have much facial hair naturally. -

I have a beard (of sorts) but that is by choice, I would never condemn anyone for not having one.
