    Peace,

Yes, I see that too, that they ultimately form one group. I think this group is called 'mumineen' in Quran because without iman, all our actions are like ashes. So iman is the fundamental element in salvation. But again, I don't believe 'mumineen' are in a single group of people.

    Agreed. Iman is the fundamental.

Regarding grouping, please imagine a group living in heaven. That is for us now, an 'imaginary' group. As for the people we see today on earth, you're right, we can't see them. Those "groups" or "group" (like Almu'miniyn you said), both you and me were referring to the Quran. As they are plural, we call them groups. Imaginary, if you will, for us.

Please note that i never referred to them as worldly group(s) in my previous posts. Hence i only replied to your comment--not to trigger another debate--just for clarification.

I think we both have clarified this, don't you agree?

In terms of action, I think it does involve forming a group of 'mumineen' but not to claim this group is the only group. Quran allows for the existence of multiple groups (and multiple methods, for that matter).

    Agreed

Agreed about 48/29 but these aren't 'mumineen' but 'alladhi ma3a Muhammad' (those with Muhammad, if you read the context). I don't believe that this is daleel/proof to work collectively. Rather, it's a mode of working. I believe working individually is also possible and that each mumin should aim for establishing himself as a centre of good works.

Agreed, with a note that i was referring to "being merciful to each other" when i said, it works collectively. Not about following God's message. That, of course, like you said, can be done individually.

As you already see, the context is those who are with Muhammad, as the messenger. No one ensures they keep on their state--whatever those were--up to their death. God knows best. However those who were with Muhammad the messenger were fighting against the AlkuffaAr, which is the opposite of Almu'miniyn, CMIIW.

It is simply an example of a society who were merciful to each other as long as they are not fighting/disturbing against each other. And strict, stern, strong, forceful against the disbelievers.

    Peace.

Well how about a terrorist how you will treat him???

Seems like a nice idea for a new topic. Would you start one?

I guess the guideline would be

      1. Justly
      2. strictly, sternly, strongly, forcefully

      Anyone wants to add?

      Peace.

        lifetime imprisonment?

maybe a little coercion to make him talk?

In the case he is a proven terrorist who already has executed severe destruction, that could be a good idea.

HOWEVER, unless the "Majority of People" are terrorists, this would be offtopic

HOWEVER still, as long as you don't try to put lots and then lots of demographic archives here, you're welcome

          ;D

The bangladeshi immigrant workers in maldives are not horrible but it annoys me because they work so hard and get minimum salary. Like 100-150$ a month.
