Dear Mazhar, this has already been done,

. This being the complete, so to call sentence.

" For sure, One and Only, who is not illah(god) as well not an entity of adoration and worship" and goes on to define further....

Here is the link for from Lane. This words use was and is well know for pagan Arab god.

        Peace,

Dear all, just want to share this with you all. I know lot of you are not familiar with ABC's of Arabic. However, whether we like it or not reality is; our most revered book remains concealed in this language. I have kept my discourse very simple and easy even for novice to follow.

Some friends and others have been asking me to provide them with a certificate of my linguistic abilities. However, I am sure even if I were to do that. Next they would tell, to have one of their liking. Hence, I have decided to provide this as my humble certificate. Have those who are contended with their authorities with certificates, prove it wrong step by step with help of their authorities.

        Badar

We are lead through, with a careful linguistic analysis, to a conclusion that the word from Al-Qu'ran is not the proper noun (name) of our Rabb. It actually stands for allathi = who, La = not and finally illah . This would mean ?One who is not illah?.

If one were to incorporate the real meanings of the word ?illah? into the translation; this word which actually is a phrase would mean ?One who is not a deity for adoration or worship (God)?.

This sounds so radically different. Who am I to say this? What are my credentials?

Why should we trust this non-sense?

        Anything else about you?

2139 say do you dispute with us in God and He is our Lord and your Lord?

4176 ... He clarifies God to you that you (not) be misguided and God with all things Knowledgeable.

We all hope for a good understanding of each and every letter of the Holy Book. All sincere attempts should be analyzed by all others who have some understanding of the linguistics or are atleast interested to learn and carefully try to assess and understand any presented logic and analysis on any subject. If we do not take this path and start becoming sarcastic only or upset only, without presenting linguistic reasoning for or against any such subject, we become totally biased by our fixed beliefs, even if they may be wrong, and may never embark on the path of true learning.

          Peace

Peace here, is what you are looking for.

Remember that, to be a bondsman to your Rabb, until this bondsmanship brings to you the certain and manifest knowledge.

And then it also says this as well

                Surah 1063

Therefore, let they be bondsmen of Rabb, this is the nobility

In this case, what is your equivalent word for these 2 concepts in arabic?
                  -adoration
                  -worship

And how do you reconcile your understanding of and with this verse?and why is the lafasadata in this verse in relationship with adoration and worship?

From what he was saying it would mean there is one God who should not be worshiped. Does that mean then there are other gods who can be worshiped but not the one God who should not be worshiped? And when the Quran says To God belongs all praise, does that mean that this One God who should not be worshiped but should also be paised? So when we are told that everything bows to God are we then now to assume that this is actually wrong thing for them to do since God is the one God that should not be worshiped? Is not praise an act of worship? Who are we to praise then in the Quran? The other gods who can be worshiped?

I am not sure I understand what is said here.

Not the "One God" There is no god at all, there is only Allah. You shouldn't worship anyone nor does Allah ask you too

So i thinks there's a lack of completeness in the interpretation from this criteria..

I think I will agree with your logic Bigmo..

.. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Why would all be exalting someone who by definition does not want to be exalted; unless if and only if the definition was wrong in the first place, i.e. that Allah SWT is ?One who is not illah" is actually incorrect..

Once again you're using mainstream translations hence you're not really making a point, and how do you know in what way Allah is exalted? If Allah must be truly exalted my common sense would make me believe Allah is exalted by his creations following the Natural/Divine Law

So you are saying that its ok to exalt and praise as long as its folloing the natural/divine law? Or are you saying they should not be exalting and praising in the first place?

being inherently exalted is one thing..
                                    receiving praises is totally another..
Allah SWT doesn't need to be exalted, but the others needs to exalt Him in order to gain recognition/be closer to Him..

                                    Sahih International
But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

                                    Sahih International
Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.

I could translate Allah as "justin beiber".

My point is, help me out with the translation, not a random assertion. Show me how you managed to translate it that way. Otherwise, "Allah = Justin Beiber " holds as much credibility as you assertion.

                                        Shalom Aleikhem,

I could translate Allah as "justin beiber".

My point is, help me out with the translation, not a random assertion. Show me how you managed to translate it that way. Otherwise, "Allah = Justin Beiber " holds as much credibility as you assertion.

                                        Peace

                                          Shalom Aleikhem,

Incase you have not noticed, there is a stumbling block. Not having any clue about the words, no comments can be made about that post as a whole. An objection raised was regarding "regular translation". Thus my inquiry. But I do agree, its somewhat at a tangent.

                                          Peace
