and now you have problem with breastfeeding as well? if you cannot understand something doesn't mean thats wrong!! and also you don't have knowledge of hadith. little knowledge is dangerous!
the hadith and fatwa about breastfeeding says that a man and woman cannot work together unless the woman breasfeeds him, a grown man. thats SICK

I can't understand you ladies for arguing when brother Thereformer1 is right about this. Now tell me truthfully what kind of a person has surah fatiha written on his backestaghfirullah!
Hi Rasul,
you are mixing things up and quoting me out of context.
The part of my post that you quoted is referring to female genital mutilation -- FGM. Reformer said there are justifications and reasons for it.
Are you agreeing with him that this is right? Or how am I to understand your statement above? Or were you intending to say you agree with him in his views about tattoos? Could you please clarify?
The advice about using brains is condescending, insulting and unnecessary.
Wasn't it you who previously said we should follow the majority? Following the majority and using your brain often do not go hand in hand, unfortunately.

I have never heard of such thing... don't spread confusion please!

this is very disrespectful to both Allah and Quran!! it is haraam to take quran in the toilet!! don't insult quran please.
dont make haram that which is not haram! where does Quran say dont take it in the toilet and how is this taking Quran in the toilet? God made us so we have to get rid of waste products from out bodies, I doubt He would be embarrassed!

It is obvious that it is you who is extremely ignorant about the subject. Otherwise you wouldn't have spoken about "necessity" and brought up "justifications" which are an insult to any human being with a brain to think.
what's the point of talking to you and you'll not even consider what I said and think about ? I've already find guys here are intersted in my answers and they really think about what I said after posting .they even PM me.
And it is not up to you to close a subject.
I closed the subject between me and you >>> no more answer from me to you.

Who said I had a problem with breastfeeding? I said no such thing. Please read my posts properly when responding.
We were speaking about Al Azhar and their fatawa, and I was referring to a particularly insane fatwa that was issued some time ago. Reformer knew what I was talking about. So from the context it should have been clear that I am not opposed to breastfeeding in any form, but to a particular fatwa about breastfeeding, in which it was stated that a woman could breastfeed her male colleague.
According to Islamic tradition, or Hadith, breast-feeding establishes a degree of maternal relation, even if a woman nurses a child who is not biologically hers.
In his fatwa, Dr Atiya, the head of al-Azhar's Department of Hadith, said such teachings could equally apply to adults.
He said that if a woman fed a male colleague "directly from her breast" at least five times they would establish a family bond and thus be allowed to be alone together at work.
"Breast feeding an adult puts an end to the problem of the private meeting, and does not ban marriage," he ruled.
"A woman at work can take off the veil or reveal her hair in front of someone whom she breastfed."

Sahih Muslim
Book 008, Number 3424
' A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be eupon him) and said Messengerof Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said Suckle him. She said How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) smiled and said I already know that he is a young man 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are) Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) laughed.Book 008, Number 3425
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.Book 008, Number 3426
Ibn Abu Mulaika reported that al-Qasim b. Muhammad b. Abu Bakr had narrated to him that 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail b. 'Amr came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said Messenger of Allah, Salim (the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa) is living with us in our house, and he has attained (puberty) as men attain it and has acquired knowledge (of the sex problems) as men acquire, whereupon he said Suckle him so that he may become unlawful (in regard to marriage) for you He (Ibn Abu Mulaika) said I refrained from (narrating this hadith) for a year or so on account of fear. I then met al-Qasim and said to him You narrated to me a hadith which I did not narrate (to anyone) afterwards. He said What is that? I informed him, whereupon he said Narrate it on my authority that 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) had narrated that to me.maliks Muwatta
Book 30, Number 30.1.7 Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Salim ibn Abdullah ibn Umar informed him that A'isha umm al-muminin sent him away while he was being nursed to her sister Umm Kulthum bint Abi Bakr as-Siddiq and said, "Suckle him ten times so that he can come in to see me."Salim said, "Umm Kulthum nursed me three times and then fell ill, so that she only nursed me three times. I could not go in to see A'isha because Umm Kulthum did not finish for me the ten times."
Book 30, Number 30.1.8 Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Safiyya bint Abi Ubayd told him that Hafsa, umm al-muminin, sent Asim ibn Abdullah ibn Sad to her sister Fatima bint Umar ibn al-Khattab for her to suckle him ten times so that he could come in to see her. She did it, so he used to come in to see her.

if thats what the prophet said then there must have been some reason. dear sister prophet would not ask you to do anything that is wrong! please think about it.
-
what's the point of talking to you and you'll not even consider what I said and think about ?
Am I getting this right? You want me to seriously consider the theory that there is a necessity to mutilate women in warm countries, or in countries where there are more girls than boys? Why in the world would I want to think about such nonsense that clearly goes against common sense, science, and Islam?

These are hadith, i do not believe the prophet said these, he was not a rediculous man!
ahadith are the sayings of the prophet! and whatever you don't agree with doesn't mean prophet didn't say that. Please be reasonable!

No hadith are 'reportedly' sayings of the prophet written by men and collected by men that were not even born within 200 years of the prophet, the prophet that said DO NOT take anything from me but Quran, the prophet that followed Allah and would NEVER have added anything to Islam, the prophet that followed the sunnah of Allah and lived by the hadith of Allah!

where does it say it was a child? Why would one suckle an 8 - 12 year old boy and what is to stop people referring this to a grown man, as happened in the fatwa?
