is this guy muslim? how offensive, disregarding his claims of quraniyon but his claims on Quran/Mohammed..
let me highlight a few
The Quran is an ambiguous book filled with repetitions and contradictions. In various chapters of the Quran there is enough nonsense to prove its gross inanities. The Sunna?s role is to clarify the Quran and puts it in focus, thereby highlighting further its absurdities. This is why the Quranyon prefer to read the Quran without the Sunna; they prefer some darkness to give them a free hand to articulate the language to come up with the meaning that suits their desires.
I was reading in this book that the term sunna is now used interchangeably with the term hadith, however sunnah does not mean hadith. sunnah means something like path or way of life. anyway most probably know that, so basically not all hadith show a sunnah yet all hadith have their place. question is this guy sees Quran as nonsense and having contradictions.. and sunnah showing further absurdities? like what is this guy on? kufr? and he is having a go at quranists lol.
Muslims consider the Sunna as complementary and explanatory to the Quran. This is quite true. However, acceptance of the Sunna leaves the Quranyon with little room to practice their skills in distorting the language. The Quranyon cannot apply their skills of language trickery to the ahadith because these come in different books and in different wordings, which denies the Quranyon their only weapon of language falsification to come up with their desired new meaning.
Anyone can distort meaning from Quran to hadith to the book you just read about whatever.. i haven't met a Quranists who thinks Quran shouldn't be read/interpreted in classical Arabic.
The Quran repeatedly asks the Muslims to follow Mohammed?s example (Sunna). If the Quranyon discount the Sunna then they have to answer the important question How can Muslims follow Mohammed?s example if they do not recognize that example?
This will be the strongest argument traditionalists will use and will make a laughing mockery at us because they feel as hadith is preserved Quran was preserved in the same way.. so they can't make logic otherwise.
The Quranyon have full knowledge of Mohammed?s history (Sira) and his example (Sunna), but their knowledge leads them to a laughable conclusions. In effect, their argument goes like this ?because the history of Mohammed is disgraceful, and because his ahadith (deeds and sayings) are filled with nonsense, then these ahadith must be wrong!? This is like saying ?because all the available evidence incriminates the suspect, then all the available evidence must be wrong! This back to front irrational analysis is not unique to the Quranyon but common among Muslim scholars in general and reflects the extent of damage that Islam inflicts on human wisdom.
I think for a lot of people the idea of hadith being a source of history makes it hard for some to reject it, or wholeheartedly. however the so called science and methodology of hadith recognises.. well at least mentions anything contradictory or seemingly illogical or offensive in content should be turfed. so why is it we or rather traditionalists muslims relied so heavily and continue to on scholars of the past and their research, even though they claim their fallibility why is it muslims are so lazy to re-evaluate the works of their scholars? and practically divine their abilities?
The Quranyon?s state of mind is another sad demonstration of the damage that Islam can inflict on the human mind. These people have spotted more than enough of the Islamic garbage to wake them up to the fact that Islam is just a mad man?s cult. Instead of leaving Islam, they embark on a desperate process of self-deception because their confused minds cannot imagine that life can exist outside Islam.
Again i ask, is this guy muslim??

Munzir think critically, a person who says the Quran is full of absurdities and then sunna (hadith) further shows absurdities, how can that be a hadith lover? how can a hadith lover even doubt the beauty of Quran and claim 'absurdities"? how would a muslim say that??

So instead of a renewal or enlightenment of Islam, he sees us as a last desperate act to save the drowning Islam.

Sounds more likely, to me .... I highly doubt that a Sunni Muslim is going to say that the Qur'an is fully of 'absurdities'.

It's an attempt by an ex-Muslim taken from 'Islam-Watch' to discredit the movement. I'd love to know which Ahadiths 'explain' the Quran. In any case, his attempt is feeble and clearly, his audience the gullible type who will believe anything they read. I really dislike people who talk big but don't bring their proof to back themselves up, it's foolish and it's the argumentative style of a weak person. Talks big and the sad thing is that when you use Islamic jargon gullible people think that you have something credible to say.
He didn't bring up any intellectual criticisms, just a rant (tending towards an emotional one) in which he attempts to undermine the movement through a series of baseless claims and assumptions. His knowledge of Sunnism is clearly lacking but if he didn't mock the Quran, I'd have mistaken him for one because his mentality is just the same.
Our aim is finding out the truth of Islam and if that means doing away with traditions associated with the religion then why does that make it wrong. I mean, everyone is willing to criticize the backwardness of Muslims and Islam and the fact that we're uncritical, we can't be objective and we're closed minded, the minute we stop doing that we're told that what we're doing is wrong.

first c the word "Arabic" means "mother tongue" opposit of arabic is ajmi which means "foreign" so in that case every person knows "arabic" its biggest1 of the fraud spread by so called arabs (means native) to fool world , "muhammed" doest mean any person name where as its quality of charecter of a head of state............... more later.

I love this, this is just further proof that the message of Quran alone Islam is starting to make an impact, let them cry and complain all they want, it will give us more publicity. The old structure built on false dogmas and empty rituals is crumbling, leaving the true essence and beauty of Islam to stand alone in its purity for the world to see it as it was truely meant to be.

Looks to me as an Islam hater of the common kind. Frustrated person who finds expediente to put his or her frustrations out of himself and what a better whipboy than islam and those who might attempt to show that islam is good.

true it's a sign people are becoming more aware, i think they are more aware. i've heard sheikhs at the mosque say "there are people who believe such and such, quran without hadith.. what ignorance" there's even sunni audio lecturers against us. publicity is slowly coming out

I would have to agree that your reflection on this issue is spot on. I feel people found it easy to spot mistakes in the traditional thinkings/cultures and hadiths of the muslims. Now they have come across a new threat, which takes its sources direct from the Great Reading and its not easy to argue with that.

As many of you know, in the past few years I debated with rabid enemies of Islam, such as, Robert Spencer, Bill Warner, Ali Sina and many more. I was suprised to learn their insistence to force me to accept hadith and sunna. They even tried to use all the false arguments of Sunnis to lead me to the dirt, so that they could have a ceap victory against a muslim.
This is no different. Islam-watch, like its twin jihad-watch is another front against islam. It is one of the many sites run by the alliance of crusaders and zionists.

No he is a Christian missionary. He actaully sounds frustrated and for good reason. He knows without hadiths that attacks against Muhammad will be difficult. But his problem is that he lumps al Quranist in on epile. Its hard for people to understand the non orthodox nature of Quranist because many Christians are themelves sectarian and belong to denomination.
Plus people like that are usually har core Trinitarians, and we all know what the Quran says about that right?
So for him the Quran is extremely problematic. The question is where did he get the Trinity from? Not from the Bible. So he and Muslims are very similar just like Jews and the Talmud.

I disagree with the idea that Islam will prevail, though. It's nonsense that Muslims are abandoning their religion, but the Quran itself predicts downfall of religion and corruption on earth... ending with the judgment.
