If the Prophet told me to do something in his capacity of the movement leader, I will do it UNLESS it goes against Quran. If someone leaves islam and the Prophet 'kill him please', I will say 'sorry, Quran says no compulsion. don't disobey God please, ya Prophet'.

well, here you disobey prophet , and you came against the verse where God said obeying prophet is obeying him. and if you didn't kill who leaves Islam, you'll be considered a rebel and a cower, because the punishement for someone leaves Islam is death but after advice him first to back to Islam and if he doesn't want , then he must die.

Do you have any example at the time of the Prophet (s) of one who was killed purely on the basis of rejecting Islam?

Oh and by the way, you still didn't get back to me Does following a hadith equate to following a direct order of the Prophet (s)?

        Selam
Your question is a hypothetical one. The true answer is unless you are in that situation you really do not know what you will do. As the prophet is no longer with us, the question should be what do we follow now?
        Peace

Philosophy will not serve you by any way , so answer the question or leave a beautiful trace behind you .

You don't know what I will do, so stop assuming .

the question is clear and the answer is clear as well, we follow Asalaf Asaleh . Imam Malik and Bukhari and Muslim and so on.

            I choose one

So, you're disobeying the prophet and leads you to disobey God as well . so you're not following Quran but you think that you follow it.

Muhammed was forbidden from revealing anything other than the koran
Say I follow only that which is inspired in me from my Sustainer. This (Qur'an) is insight from your Sustainer, and a guidance and a mercy for a people that believe. And when the Qur'an is recited, give ear to it and pay heed, that you may obtain mercy.?
(7203-204)Stop criticizing people for their typing mistakes. P I have seen a lot of grammatical errors in your posts. Should I start critisizing you for your mistakes? ) rotfl rotflyeah >D >D He dines with the devil. >D
            bravo bravo

what you don't know , is that the deeds of the prophet and his saying were also from inspiration.
and about mistakes of people , I didn't do it for criticizing him, I just want to show him the right way of writing .

The Quran says 'obey the messenger' so yes, I need to obey him but HE needs to obey the Quran. If he goes against it, Allah would KILL HIM (69/40-47). In this case, he's not obeying the Quran so I don't need to obey him.

The fact is, he wouldn't ever order against the Quran. But a direct order does not equate to a Hadith.

No, but at the time of Abo Baker Asadik the friend of the prophet, after the death of the prophet people got rejecting Islam, and Abo Baker Asadik and his friends frim Ali and Othman and Omar Bno Khatab and the others Sahaba, ordered to kill everyone who doesn't want to back to Islam, and by the way the punishment is in Qur'an itself for someone who rejects Islam.

Yes, absolutely, because hadith is protected from God as well. and I'm talking about hadith Sahih and hadith Hassan.

I am talking about Rasulullah (s) seeing as the thread is about following him, not his friends.

Also we are not talking about people who leave Islam and become renegades. We are talking about the countless people who peacefully leave Islam to practice another religion. They are to be killed to for simply leaving Islam when Allah (swt) CLEARLY asserts Let there be NO compulsion in religion.

Yes, absolutely, because hadith is protected from God as well. and I'm talking about hadith Sahih and hadith Hassan.

I dare you to prove it.

                              ok, got it

the hadith has took a great part in studying it, so people came from everywhere to take ahadih after the death of prophet . So the question is why people want to study hadith if it was fabricated as guys here pretend ?

All the Salaf Asalih have been guided from God to study hadith and classified it

                              ( &#1614

here in this verse God said to the prophet that Quran must be interpreted .

and about the salaf asaleh " "

this verse is an order from God to ask the scholars .

A further question, did the Prophet make any mistake at all? Like in ?abasa?. Who inspired him to make those mistakes?

the verse talks about a situation when the prophet wanted from his people Quraish to enter to Islam, not because he wants to force it, but because he wants from his strain to enter the heaven and he cares about them especially his uncle who didn't want Islam, and the prophet insisted over and over from his uncle to enter to Islam but his uncle refused.

So Muhammad went against the Quran by killing those who leave islam. Your version of Muhammad anyway...

I advice you to know first the verse and its context then talk.

so lashing the drunk is against Quran ?????

Of course, because Quran speaks of being drunk but doesn?t assign any punishement. However if the drunk causes any harm, that?s a separate judgement.

the verse talks about a situation when the prophet wanted from his people Quraish to enter to Islam, not because he wants to force it, but because he wants from his strain to enter the heaven and he cares about them especially his uncle who didn't want Islam, and the prophet insisted over and over from his uncle to enter to Islam but his uncle refused.

So in other words, for you Quran is useless now. It only talks about past events. But here?s the problem, by this reasoning, you?re saying the sunna/kalima/hukm of Allah CHANGES but Allah insists that it doesn?t.

There?s no point in knowing any asbab an nuzool because they were made up long after the Quran.
