Also, when i read in chapter two, verses starting with 183, regarding the fast, and when i am told to fast until layl (night), how is that following my desire, when i am following what it is written?
Also, why do sunnis break the fast at sunset and not night? Where do they find that? Some other book? A bookof their desires?
Have you studied yourself what is written in the Book or are basing it on what you have heard from clergy? The difference is only of ten minutes between the clergy of both the sects and it is because of interpretation of word "Ila". One takes it as having entered into night, and the other thinks approaching the night which immediately begins with sunset.

" "
And whoso opposeth the messenger after the guidance (of Allah) hath been manifested unto him, and followeth other than the believer's way, We appoint for him that unto which he himself hath turned, and expose him unto hell - a hapless journey's end!" An Nissa verse 115.It amazes me how some of you can post selections from the Qu'ran which only reinforce the view of people who believe in the Qu'ran and the Qu'ran only and yet somehow be under the impression that these selections are helping your side...Allah manifested his QU'RAN into the messenger...THE QU'RAN IS THE ULTIMATE JUDGE AND THE ULTIMATE GUIDANCE...
