do you know, that those jews who oppose israel get their 'reasoning' to oppose it from the same talmud among other things? check ketubot 110b, 111a, for example.

there are also other interpretations of the said passage in talmud, some (zionists) believe the oaths are now void because the 'gentiles' broke their part of the oath and what not.
