Why don't we have mosques?
-
Because mosques cost money that need a community to run it possibly by government grants. once you get a community we can start complaining and demanding otherwise you're walking on broken legs.
furthermore not all mosques are on and on about Mohammed, most of the time the mosques are empty only during pray time or specific times they do 'classes' in which you will find crowds.
i'm sure you could go in a less frequent time with a bunch of friends otherwise you can learn through many resources out there to gain insight. of course it would be common courtesy to follow the mosque etiquettes if you went otherwise you're just asking for trouble.
I agree.
I have never been in a mosque in the country I live in. And I will probably never visit one neither. My house is enough for me. I can pray at home. However, It would be nice to have an Islamic temple (a place where likeminded people meet to discuss islam and study the Quran) in my town. Unfortunately such a temple don't exist and probably never will. It will cost too much.
