Kaaba , dual is Kaabayn, we find this is Ghossul before Salat

O you who believe, if you rise to hold the Salat, then wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles.. 46

In this verse it is translated the Ankles, and it is a false translation, for the ankles in arabic is called "Quadamayn" in reality, the kaabayn is the base of the feet, the part you put on the floor, therefore, wudu, you was your whole legs "rijlayn" until the bases , almost a shower .
and the word contact prayer is false, because it shall be translated a meeting
SALAT = Meetings , Salat allah asked about is meetings for the laws and the quran.

...and if you have had intercourse, then you shall bathe... 46 (FALSE)
'This has nothing to do with intercourse, it sounds like a repetition with what comes later, Junuban means your side, if you stink from your side, that is uner the armpit , than wash.
    exemple of Junub

And serve God and do not set up anything with Him, and do good to the parents, and the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the neighbor who is a relative, and the neighbor nearby, and the friend nearby.. 436
even though it is translated ok, not reallly false, but Aljar aljunub, is your sides neighboor. just like the friend who is beside you and the friend nearby isn't really false.

    another exemple of Junb

And when affliction touches man, he calls upon Us on his side or sitting or standing.. 1012

And she said to his sister Follow his path. So she watched him from aside, while they did not notice.

therefore Junub doesn't mean intercourse, or a wet dream, but a smell on the sides.

And if you are ill, or traveling, or you have excreted feces, or you have had sexual contact with the women, and you cannot not find water, then you shall select from the clean soil; you shall wipe your faces and your hands with it ...

It is not clean soil from dirt, but the MUSK, Saiidan Tayiban, means it is Tayib, and Tayib means smell nice, and at that time they had a perfume called MUSK, and it looks like dirt, a piece like soap wich is perfume, therfore if you cannot find water, to go for the meetings ( Salat ) than put perfume so you smell good
Notice the word tayib is used always for SMELL .and the good things

Tayib is everything good, if it soil, it has to be smelling nice, as perfume, if it's food, it has to be delicious etc... therefore Saiidan tayiban is MUSK .( modern days perfume ).

The Salat = Meetings , and not contact prayer, nor bond, or commitement, but meetings or links, and has nothing to do with prayer, specially it comes from the word Sila = Link.

As We have sent a messenger to you from among yourselves to recite Our revelations to you, and purify you, and teach you the Book and the wisdom, and teach you what you did not know.
So remember Me that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me and do not disbelieve.
O you who believe, seek help through patience and through the contact prayer, God is with the patient ones. 2151-153

    Allah knows best

Makes a lot of sense. But can I ask where you get these meanings from e.g. meetings?

Thanks for sharing this with us.

        Peace,

The people here at free-minds just love to make things up. Ka'b IS ankle. rijl is the whole leg including the feet. Yad is the whole arm including the hand. Then there are plenty of other words that specifiy more. Qadam means just feet, kaff means just the hand. Dhiraa3ah means just the arm, saaq means just the leg. Fakhdh is the thigh.

        Godbless,

i find this interesting since there is a Hadith (i know, i know) that says to wash any bird killed by a dog and rub it with "dirt" in order to purify it. could this not also mean to wash the bird and then apply seasoning to it? if so then this is most assuredly common in all culinary practices around the world and therefore shows the silliness of some of the interpretations these stories and that many of them state the obvious and are not really revelations, lol.

i know a bit off topic but it hit me when there was made mention of dirt equating a good smelling perfume, or any other good thing that would be pleasing that looks like dirt. seasoning would be a good thing that looks similar to dirt.

Every time you read the word Salat, you see meetings
            for exemple
Allah youssali aala Nabi = Allah make meeting with Prophet mohamed through Wahy (revelation)

God and His angels make meetings with the prophet. O you who believe, you shall make meetings with him, and comply completely. 3345

Allah makes meetings with us through his book

He is the One who makes meetings with you, along with His angels, to bring you out of darkness and into the light. ...3356

HOW ALLAH MAKE MEETINGS WITH US ?

He is the One who makes meetings with you, along with His angels, to bring you out of darkness and into the light. ...3356
Book which We have sent down to you so that you may bring the people out of the darkness and into the light 141

Now look at this verse, it speaks about the messenger teaching people the book ans Hikmah, and than allah said Adhkourouni, and the 3rd verse allah said seeh help through Sabr and Salat.
            (&#65279 (&#65279
As We have sent a messenger to you from among yourselves to recite Our revelations to you, and purify you, and teach you the Book and the wisdom, and teach you what you did not know. So remember Me that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me and do not disbelieve. O you who believe, seek help through Sabr and through the meetings, God is with the patient ones. 2151-153

As you see, the first one says 3356 "He is the One who makes meetings with you, along with His angels", and the second one said 141 "Book which We have sent down to you " both to "bring the people out of the darkness and into the light "
Therefore it means the same thing, the meeting between god and us in when we ponder/meditate/read/discuss the quran. and that is how Allah Youssali on us. and conclusion, Salat has nothing to do with a rituel.

Another exemple of Salat wich is called in modern days Senat , copied from early Islam before they change the concept for us through Zorostarians
Here is where they get the Senat "Salat" From.

O you who believe, if you are told to make room in the assemblies, then you shall make room. God will then make room for you. And if you are told to leave, then leave. God will raise those among you who believe, and those who acquire knowledge to higher ranks. God is fully aware of everything you do. O you who believe, if you wish to hold a private meeting with the messenger, you shall offer a charity before you do so. This is better for you, and purer. If you cannot do so, then God is Forgiver, Merciful. Are you reluctant to offer a charity before such meeting? If you cannot do such, and God has forgiven you; then you shall Establish Salat, and contribute towards purification, and obey God and His messenger. God is fully Aware of everything you do. 5811-13

As you see , it is a paarlement, the true name is Salat , renamed by europeens Senat, and pretended that they learned from Romain, wich is not true, a big LIE, because Romains were primitif and dictators and only the rulers and their army lived a good life, while the rest was all misery. and as you can see, what is done in assembless if not meetings?

I don't know if it is enaugh of explanation about Salat as meetings, but the most important salat is The Assembly Salat called Senat in modern days. the moslim countries should calll their senat, SALAT, instead of pretending copying from europeens systems, and leaving the source of that system.

by the way, Salat Wousta is the most important meeting and Jumuaa is the extraordinary meeting, I will post an explanation inshallah
If I am wrong, someone might correct me, if I am right, than participate to develop the understanding of Salat, this is the most important word in relation between us and god, so we have to understand exactly what salat mean, the one that is ridiculised to become a few rituels.

Brother, Tayamamu Saidan tayiba comes from earth, and don't forget, not only flowers come from earth, even humains come from earth, and because Allah is talking about cleaninsess , than he's talking about the good thing that comes from earth to use, and there is nothing better than perfume to hide our stink if we don't find water. Saiidan tayiban is good earth, it could be flower, or anything good, in our time it must be perfume , in the time of mohamed, it was called MUSK .

Ok, imagine Kaab is Ankle, and Rijl is the whole leg and foot,
if someone say to you, wash your Rijl until the Ankle, are you gonna start your Rijl from the top until the ankles ? or from the button until the ankles ?
Kaabayn = base , the buttom of the foot
Kaaba = Base. Kaabayn is two kaaba.

                  From Project Root List

Kaaf-Ayn-Ba = swell/prominent/protuberant/projection/budding (common examples include a woman's breasts), jointed-stem, fold, went away, joint/juncture/division of bones (more commonly the ankle bone), tarsus (in animals), swift, eminence/nobility/glory, anything elevated, square/cubic house/chamber, square-form, to hasten, to go away paying no regard to anything
Quote from Lane's lexicon "a house or temple belonging to the tribe of Rabee'ah, who used to compass it, or perform circuits round it (as is done round the Kabbeh of Mekkeh)".

Hans Wehr - Knot, knob, node (of cane); joint, articulation, ankles, anklebone; heel (of foot or shoe) ferule; die; cube; high rank, fame, glory, honor.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Excuse me brther, but I don't believe anymore that Kaaba mean a cube. I believe it means a base , just like quawaiid means regulations or rules and don't mean pillars of walls.
re read the verses where there is the word Kaaba.

God has made the Base to be the Restricted Sanctuary; to enforce for the people, and for the restricted month, and for the donations, and for regulation; that is so you may know that God knows what is in the heavens and what is in earth, and that God is aware of all things. 597 ( this is the translation of free minds)

When you read it, you can see that kaaba been made the restricted house RISING for the people
                    what is Kaaba ?
it sounds like the 4 regulations that comes from the sacred masjid
                    1 enforce for the people
                    2 the restricted month
                    3 for the donations
                    4 for regulation

This is what it sounds, allah said kaaba and said the 4 points of kaaba. I believe Kaaba was changed from it's meaning because they needed to invent a rituel, a zorostarian rituel. and has nothing to do with cube, if there is a physical Kaaba in the world, it sounds more like the Pyramids, a base of 4 pointing to the same point on the top. ( this is just my conjocture ) .
Same as Salat has nothing to do with praying or prayer

The think that bothered me was, the quran is clear, yet, some quran aloners pray 2 times, some pray 3 times, some pray 5 times
and god said, if it is not from Allah , you will find in it many contradictions ( so Salat = Senat in western word) and has nothing to do with prayer, no from near, not from far
the word that sounds like prayer is Duaa.
Allah knows best, this is my studies with a friend of mine who is fluent in arabic

In native American traditions (and others) something like sage or sweet grass is burned
and passed around the body. It serves the same purpose.

Incense... which, incidentally, is another interpretation of salaat, I believe that has been posted in here. Relating to a ritual censing.

                      btw... Great post.

The word Salat, is on word, yet they translate it in different words in the quran, according to the context
for exemple, some verses , they translate it " contact prayer" and other verses " bon" etc because it doesn't make sense if they translate it everywhere contect prayer, even though, in all thse verses , it is written SALAT one sigle word
if you translate it, meetings it fits in every single verse for salat one word can make sense in all these verses as a translattion of the one word Salat

                          Peace,

I tend to agree with the research Wakas has done regarding the core meaning of the salat root. So I see it as turning toward something in a positive manner. I understand the concept of salat to be making productive, positive use of the Quran in our lives in order to ensure that the pure message is effected as opposed to perverted, adulterated concepts devised for selfish agendas. Specifically, I see the setting up of mechanisms that allow for this productive use of the Quran. I see the passage 2222-242 as one of the most detailed passages in the Quran regarding what salat should be. I have posted on this at another forum here
                          http//www.quranists.net/forum/index.php?topic=40.0

We are all aware of the disgusting manner in which potential divorces are dealt with by "muslims" these days. This represents the perverted, adulterated concept falsely extracted from the Quran. The quoted passage is an example of how establishing salat deals with such falsehoods.

                          Imraan

                            Salaam,

I agree with "Junoob" does not mean "intercourse" or "wet dreams" but it means sides.

For Salaat, I would translate it as "connection" or "contact" or "link".

And I disagree with your interpretation of "sayyidan tayyiban".

May Allah guide us all towards the truth pr

                              Salaam,

I agree with "Junoob" does not mean "intercourse" or "wet dreams" but it means sides.

For Salaat, I would translate it as "connection" or "contact" or "link".

And I disagree with your interpretation of "sayyidan tayyiban".

Saiidan tayiban , is always translated good earth or good dirt, And I don't see a persone throwing dirt on his face and saying i am cleaning myself. I believe saiidan tayiban is anything good from earth, because everything comes from earth, therefore even a towel is from earth, parfum is from earth.

do u have an explanation of saiidan tayiban ?

                                Peace Imran, all,

I came to the same conclusion as you for SALAT, and I will give more detail about it in very near future inshallah.

Very good iniciative this wiki quranic. Hope this will help lot of people and maybe future generation with The God will.

is the word used for the earth.

If you say "every thing comes from earth", why you take only perfume? Why not clothes? Why not leaves? Why not flowers? Why not sponge? Why not paper? The list may go on...

I never take out meaning by MYSELF if I don't understand anything properly and consider it "Mutashabeh" and wait until it gets clear from Allah for me .

I understand "sa'eed" means something raised, clean and hard, just like a wall. I am might be wrong, but this is my understanding now.

                                    Salaam,

The whole point is, SALAT as a rituel doesn't make sense

main reason is, Why did Allah send his best men, to Establish Salat in mankind ?
if Salat is a rituel, that why thousands of messengers for this matter ?
If Allah sent messengers and books to guide mankind, what benefit between us and God into a few rituels ?
if salat is just a rituel, than why did Allah insist so much on it , and as a benefit for mankind through Salat ?

all these questions don't have an answer, unless, Salat is a way to civilisation !

Salat is a matter of A state, it is a state that uphold Salat, see sourah Haj verse 41

people are still thinking for Salat as a rituel. even though, they know it was copied from europeens, and twisted the name a bit to Senat. and the muslims left Salat a while ago, if you see the senat in muslim countries, all or most of them corrupted people, the Salat of the muslim countries are based on corruption and sleep in the parliements. that is why all muslim countries are punished and are living hell .

                                      Peace be upon you,

Salaat is that which prevents evil deeds...meaning salaat is that which CHANGES your behavior.

Salaat refers to PROGRAMMING of the subconcious(nafs), which is the only way behavior is changed.

The programming(salaat) of the subconcious is best acheived in the meditation brain wave state, which is the twilight state between awake(day) and sleep(night), which is why the timing of salaat is dawn and dusk (times where day and night merge.

Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Those who are with him are hard against the unbelievers merciful one to another. You see them bowing, prostrating, seeking blessing, bounty and good pleasure (of God). Their mark is on their faces, the trace of prostration. That is their likeness in the Torah, and their likeness in the Gospel as a seed that puts forth its shoot, and strengthens it, and it grows strong and rises straight upon its stalk, pleasing the sowers, that through them it may enrage the unbelievers. God has promised those of them who believe and do deeds of righteousness forgiveness and a mighty wage(4829)
