    Salam,

Look into this verse. It says "say to the rejecters", but after they are addressed as they and them instead of you. If it's correct, then maybe it needs removal of exclamation mark?

838 Say to the rejecters ?If they cease, then what has passed before
will be forgiven to them, and if they return to it, then the example
of the previous generations has already been given.?

    Salam

      Salam,

      make His small in bold

1020 And they say ?If only a sign was sent down to him from His
Lord.? Say ?The future is with God, so wait, and I will wait with
      you.?

        Salam peace

Again I did not know where exactly to post this but I have a question regarding the FM translation

        In chapter 71 we read

        7124
And they have misguided many, but We only increase the wicked in misguidance

But is translated as second person in

7128 "My Lord, forgive me, and my parents, and whoever enters my home as a believer, and the believing males, and the believing females; and do not increase the wicked except in destruction."

Excuse my ignorance but? may I ask why?

        Thanks peace

7124 is for sure mistranslated technically, it should be in the same form as how 7128 is translated, thus like "...NOT increase...EXCEPT...".
Second person should be ok I think.

            Salam,

floowing verses, check the exclamation marks. Maybe they need removal in 1091-92, though it's clear it's God saying after verse 1090

1090 And We helped the Children of Israel cross the sea, and Pharaoh
and his soldiers followed them out of hatred and animosity. But
when he was certain to drown, he said ?I believe that there is no
god except the One in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I
am of those who have submitted.?
1091 ?Now you say this? While before you disobeyed and were of the
            corrupters!?
1092 ?This day, We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign
for those after you.? But most of the people are unaware of Our
            signs!

            Salam

Instead of so while walking or riding should be one by one or by two connected.

Instead of If you become secure should be So, when you confirm (by action).

Previous ayet is wrongly translated also.

Selam to ones who think about His ayets with no shirk.

Wait, did I get it right? Are you purposely chaging the words in Arabic to fit the correct translation?

You are changing the Quran. giveup

Amen means to be confident or secure. It does not vary much from that connotation.

                    Me? Which words?

MoF, it's not fear as you (and author of this translation) probably think it is. Check 4101, maybe you'll see...

I didn't really get what you mean. Just asking if the moderators are changing the Arabic within the Quran? Thus changing the Quran? I don't know Araboc, can read it though. Maybe there is something I dn't understand. hmm

                        Farati,

People are not confident Quran is preserved in its interpretation and therefore they seek to study the language. Personally I would wonder thus if the book ever had a proper interpretation to begin with.

You seem to be confused about the meaning of the word "moderator".

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

The word "jebel" is not "mountain" here. I'm not sure about English word, but it should be something as maybe "pile".
Anyways, Ibrahim a.s., Allah's friend, took all parts of birds and took them together and made something which looks like a hill, but much smaller of course. Please somebody inform me if "pile" is a good word for this and thanks in advance.

Selam to rare ones who love Allah's friend, Ibrahim a.s. and his Rabb.

I don't know why my posts in this topic are ignored, but I'll try once more with a question, maybe it can help...

In 43 = "to be just"
                                In 499 = "be equitable!"
                                In 608 = "the equitable"

                                But then, as active participle

                                In 7214-15 = "the compromisers"

My question is How can any word be its opposite?

I might be wrong but I think the author(s) (Layth?) is/are more interested in technical corrections (missing dots, capitals, misspelling, etc) then in your or my understanding of a particular word.

                                          Salam,

Should hearer be capital or as it is, in bold?

338 It was then that Zachariah implored his Lord; he said ?My Lord,
grant me from You a good progeny. You are the hearer of prayer.?

                                          Salam
