The flag desing is finalized by our artist friend in Kazakhstan, Vitaliy. Perhaps it would be better if the circle was colored in sky blue or light green.

You may read the symbolic or poetic meaning of its components under the article XIII.
    http//19.org/534/constitution/

If you have your own flag (visual poetry) about the country of your dream, please share with us.

PS Perhaps some people, especially among our innumerate friends (and a few numerate ones), will get bewildered/upset/angry/furious/mad/scared/shocked/ after they count the number of stars; but there are many good stuff out there that make many upset. I cannot help them )

    Peace,
    Edip

Don't you think the centered fetal position is kinda relaying the wrong message about peacemakers, obviously those that um haven't read the accompanying literature of course?

Dear Savage, I have no idea what you are implying. Can you please briefly explain.
I looked at http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fetal_position where it is associated with a few negative things; but anything could be associated as such.

        Peace,

Personally Edip, if this flag is waved around...people aren't going to assume you guys are a force to be reckoned with, is all. I would go with the bewildered option in the list, others might choose a lighter, less intense option but you don't have that listed. But as you said, many things out there that make people choose the options they do, so my opinion is just an opinion amongst many.

              Dear friend

This flag is not to demonstrate to others that we are a FORCE to be reackoned. We are not going to waving the flag to promote wars and conflicts. If it is the flag of MUSLIMS (peacemakers) it should invite to peaceful co-existence, respect to human life and dignity.

              Peace,
              Edip

If you click on the link, you will see a paragraph, yes only a paragraph under Article XIII explaining the symbolic meaning of fetus and others.

How about we change FORCE to BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY? Make more sense? I'd probably wear a hoodie so that I'm not recognised if I have to be near that additionally. I'd be fine with the stars even you know. The extras I can do without.

lol.. I don't want to step on anyones dream but, this flag was obscure. A fetus, something that looks like something in a behive, and a womb around it? And stars, as the american flag.. I don't really see the connection or symbolic meaning in relation to muslim. !

                          Ok now on 'serious' side..

                          Edip,
I have a suggestion for revision based on the statement found in your site.

"The intention of this project is to provide spring-board or support for the intellectuals of the population in the ?Middle East,? a population that have long time being oppressed and repressed by authoritarian, corrupt regimes and their imperialist masters in the West."

                          My suggestion
The intention of this project is to provide spring-board or support for the intellectuals and liberty of the population in the ?Middle East,? a population that have long time oppressed and enslaved each others over silly and ridiculous matters (e.g. Arabs over Turkic in Umayyad era, Turkic over Arabs in Ottoman era, Turkic over Armenians in Ottoman era, Christians over Jews in Byzantium era, Jews over Christians in Sassanid era, Jews over Arabs in Modern Israel era, Arabs over Jews in Arab Nationalism era etc...) and repressed by authoritarian, corrupt, hypocrite regimes and their imperialist masters in the West mind controlling, brain washing, power and politically motivated indoctrinating masters. Whomever they are.

                          Salam / Peace

Aww. Don't flatter yourself. You might want to get off that high horse, oh Starry Knight.

p.s. we didn't need to count the stars, or have you bring up their count to know it'd be a 19 multiple. We are quiet aware of your obsession, you know. Upset? Not at all. Too busy giggling at the so called 'symbolism'.

This "too busy giggling" guy forgets that once he was a fetus and that all the past and new generations were and are the product of miraculous work intensified during the 266 days in mother's womb.

It is sad that the nationalistic propaganda that associates flag with show of power is so much powerful, a flag that demonstrates respect for human life and peaceful co-existence is considered like Martian's flag.

It is also noteworthy, that another person praises the dualistic shahada (kalima-i tasniya) over a sword, the flag of one of the most repressive, backward and corrupt governments...

                              Peace.

The weird thing about this peacemakers constitution is that it sounds alot like the american constitution. Maybe we arent so bad after all, if we would just stop invading other countries and taking care of ourselves at home we would be what we once were.

That flag -- and having any flag, for that matter -- is just pointless.

                                      No controversy. No one's upset.

Intention. And execution. Often a sizable gap between the two.

                                        Peace Edip, all

How about making a flag with a white background and writing "the peacemakers" and its translations in every language (with its own characters) all over the flag, maybe in an artistic way. Also, I consider "the peaceables" to be nearer in meaning to almuslimeene, but that just my opinion.

                                          Peace.

This "Too busy enumerated by Count 19 Guy"* forgets that the duration of each gestation period is NOT 266.
... I was once a fetus. I'll be sure to put that on a bumper sticker.

Who is your audience, Edip? Who is this flag aimed towards? "Muslims"? Humanity? I did read Article XIII, as a matter of point. Who will be in position(s) to use this flag? Finally, as others have already asked you before--why have a flag at all?

Culturally, a fetal position has very specific connotations standing for fear/despair/anxiety. In another words, as already pointed out, what you intend by a symbol equals not its function/execution. Surely you know this? You're trying to be 'symbolic' with this flag, but the fetal position thing you take literally?
What this really 'symbolizes' is the fact that you pick and choose. You use the counts, the number 19, the Golden Ratio, in a symbolic way, but the fetal position you intend quite literally.

*as a sidenote might make a neat vampire story, brb.
