We look to the SUNNA?

Salam and Peace on you!
Who do you think was in the best position to explain Quran? are you suggested that the Prophet(saW) was a mere puppet who had no understanding of what was being revealed to him??
Indeed, the Messenger was the best to explain Al-Quran.
And he explained Al-Quran from within Al-Quran, because Allah declared that He Himself did the Tafseer of His Exalted Quran.
So when Allah Himself has done The Tafseer of His Own Quran, then all of us are bound to understand Al-Quran with the help of the Tafseer (Explanations) that Allah Himself has done.
And this is what the Messenger did, explaining Al-Quran within Al-Quran.Indeed, the Messenger, although he did the explanations of Al-Quran from within Al-Quran, yet he must have done this in his own words.
It means, there are two explanations of Al-Quran.
One, is the Tafseer (Explanations) that Allah Himself did, and that is within Al-Quran, and in Allah's Protection.Second, the explanations that the Messenger did, are in the words of the Messenger, but that is not in Allah's Protection.
No one can ever find the explanations of Al-Quran that the Messenger did, because Allah did not declare to Protect the explanations of Al-Quran that the Messenger did.
Allah left the explanations of Al-Quran done by the Messenger, unProtected, and thus let it lost forever. No one can find the exact words of the explanations of Al-Quran made by the Messenger, because they are lost, because Allah did not Protect them.
============================
It is clear form the above fact, that before Allah, His Own Quran (whose Tafseer Allah Himself made, and which is within Al-Quran) is more important,-------that is why Allah took It in His Protection.
And the explanations of Al-Quran, that the Messenger did, was not important, and thus Allah did not take them in His Protection, and thus let them disappear for ever. But the question is, why did Allah let the explanations of Al-Quran made by the Messenger (or more precisely, the implementation of Al-Quran done by the Messenger), disappear by not taking them in His Protection???
Because, Allah's Exalted Quran (along with Its Tafseer that Allah Himself made, and which is Safe in Al-Quran Itself) is more important before Allah,--- because Al-Quran is for all times and for all the generations of mankind, and for all environments.
Whereas, the explanations of Al-Quran made by the Messenger (or the implementation of Al-Quran done by the Messenger) was specific for the people who lived in a specific time, environment and the things they used.
If you try to implement the same old Sharia (laws derived from Al-Quran) of the Messenger's time, in your own time, environment and on the things that you use in your life, --- you will be confused.
Because many things that the Messenger and Sahaba would use, can not be found today. So the Derived-laws (from The Law, Al-Quran), can not be implemented in the absense of those ancient things. So, those Derived-laws (from Allah's Law) are clearly not universal, ----but Allah's Law (Al-Quran which was the source of those Derived-laws) is universal (for all times, all generations and all things people would be inventing and using until Al-Qiyamah).----- so, every generation will make its own Derived-laws (from Allah's Revealed Laws) to suit its own time.
So, what Derived-laws (from Al-Quran) we will made for us, will certainly be changed in the future time.
The Quran indicating that the sunnah of the Prophet(saw) is to be followed in addition doesnt mean the Quran is incomplete, there may be very good reasons for there needing to be an authority on earth to turn to for guidence, so people can be rightly guided after the Prophets(saw) death and not left to their own whims and individual interpretation of Quran.
Al-Quran Itself tells us what the Messenger himself followed.
Allah Commanded uf to follow what the Messenger followed, and never Commanded us to follow what the Messenger implemented in his specific time.
Al-Quran (Allah's Revealed Laws) is The Criterion (Al-Furqan),---- and not the implementation of the Messenger's time.
The Message that the Messenger brought, -----is for all times,
and the "Implementations of The Message" that the Messenger did in his specific times, is not for all times.==========================
And as such, where in The Quran, we can find the terminology "Sunnatur Rasool" the whole (99.99%) of the Ummah is after???

The established Sunnah of Allah which has occurred before. And never will you find in the way of Allah any change.People follow Misleading Sunnah, because they think it will help them in Life.(it won't, it doesn't work).
The solution, is too give them True Sunnah that actually help them in life. Like plant your own food & make your own fuel.
