You are one of the most interesting individuals (in the wrong way) I have met on this site.
It is pitiful that you always contradict, may it be directly or indirectly.
At one moment, you say that you believe in Kamal Salibi's theory on Israel and Misr not being Egypt etc. (Pazuzu's posts), and at another, you attest that Rashad Khalifa is a messenger of God (thus believing that his translation of the Quran is the perfect English Quran) even though he (R.K) translated Misr into Egypt rotfl (and many more fallacies of course). This site is amazing, amazing.

First of all, as I said somewhere else, I do not consider Dr. R. Khalifa PhD infallible.
His translation of the Quran is just a translation, although the best one in English, bit still just a translation and not the Kuran itself. If I was fortunate enough to read it in Arabic, I would, but I do not know Arabic yet.
On the other hand I know that there are people who do read the original Arabic Kuran but that is not a guarantee that shayitan couldn't mislead them, since many of them created sects and religious deviations.I consider many people messengers, not only Khalifa or the ones bro youssef4342 pointed here. There are messengers even here on this Forum.
Perhaps even you are one of them? -

Please be Mindeful that the Allmighty commands us to be/act nice (2195) and retaliate evil with good (1322). Also to say in retaliation what is better/nicer (1753 & 2396) so much so that your enemy might become your own friend! (4134)I would say, one thing i don't like is making fun of each other.
If someone is wrong, you shouldn't make fun of their wrong, you should direct them to the right.
How discouraging it is to slander somebody even if they're wrong! Moreover, believing that RK, does not mean you have to believe that his translation is the best translation, the purpose of a messenger is to deliver the message! RK's Message was to basically follow the Quran alone!
I encourage you to read

Your excuse (that R.K was not infaillible, thus could make errors) is not really good. Messengers of God did make mistakes (for example, Muhammad disobeyed God at one point, etc.) but it is impossible, it goes against logic itself, for a messenger sent by Allah, the creator, to give false informations religiously. It is said that Allah would have destroyed Muhammad if he had uttered other teachings besides the Qu'ran, but, you say that it is correct for Khalifa to teach his disciples to follow one way of salaat (tawarats) although the Qu'ran already describes clearly how to do salaat. It is impossible for a messenger to teach his disciples that the Satanic pilgrimage to Mecca (and to Ka'aaba) is the true pilgrimage, even though we know for a fact that the city is Bakkah, and today's pilgrimage is a complete joke made from scrach by the devils. I can go on all day.
I consider many people messengers, not only Khalifa or the ones bro youssef4342 pointed here. There are messengers even here on this Forum.
Perhaps even you are one of them?I am not a messenger of God, I am simply someone who Allah, your creator and mine, forgave and guided. Muhammad was the last prophet AND the last messenger, only the blind cannot understand that a nabi is also a rasul and vice versa. Yusuf has given a source of cons, scammers and devils as big as Khalifa, not of messengers.
Only the lost cannot see and understand.
Moreover, believing that RK, does not mean you have to believe that his translation is the best translation, the purpose of a messenger is to deliver the message!
I am getting more and more convinced that you are devil, purposely here to mislead, but you might also be a really lost man. Rashad Khalifa said himself that he wrote the correct and AUTHORIZED (by Allah) translation of Qu'ran (I consider it not Qu'ran). Saying that you believe in the messengership of Khalifa and not believing that his translation is the most correct and authorized is a huge contradiction.
Devils will always fail, you will be fully accounted on what you have done.

If you represent the truth, I guess you are a messenger of God (the truth). But most of these people are probably mad-creep-shaytans with their numerical obsessions. Ask them about a compassionate God

Hello Iznagen,
I am not ashamed to admit my ignorance and confess that I am in a process of learning about Islam, since I embraced it quite recently, not coming from a Muslim country and being brought-up in Judeo-Christian background. My first approach to Qur'an was through R.Khalifa's explanations and not the heavy burdened hadith-tradition or some sect. I am still studying and trying to approach the Qur'an the best way I can. For instance, I do not know what is tawarats you mention, and where does the Qur'an describe clearly how the Salat is done?
I would appreciate mostly if you would have the time and patience to show me that, and teach me if you will. Thank you!

Shalom,
Even though its obvious, let me help by reminding. You can always search for the word salaat in the Qur'an. You may end up with lots of references. Once you have the references, check the context and try to understand what they mean. To do this, you need cross referencing across the Qur'an among the references. If you do even this much work, you should be able to verify any model of Salat promoted in the market of interpretations.
I could have pointed out certain articles which go along with my interpretations. But that sounds a bit indoctrinating. Put your trust on God, trust me, He is there to help you, He is closer to you than you can imagine.
Having said all that, I found a trace of blind belief in one of your statements. Forgive me if I am wrong. Let me quote

- You claim that its THE BEST translation
- You claim that you do not know Arabic.
How can you judge among translations so boldly if you don't know the language of the Qur'an ? UNLESS ofcourse if you have OTHER reasons to consider it to be THE BEST. Which to me sounds like either ignorance or blind-belief on Rashad.
Forgive me if I offended you, but that was not my point. May God guide you to success.
PEACE be on you

That it is the best translation is NOT my opinion, because I cannot judge as you well show because I do not speak Arabic, but of some knowledgeable people and even some who are severely opposed to Dr R. Khalifa

Show me the verse... I've never seen "Khatamun Rasulin" (the closure of messengers) anywhere..
Having said that, I don't believe in those 'modern messengers' too..

Devils will always fail, you will be fully accounted on what you have done.Naah I don't believe anyone here is a 'devil'...
Better stop 'demonizing' those who are not inline with your opinion.. it's childish and stupid.. just like the sunnis... (or the catholics, jews and other sectarians for that matter)

Do not ever advise me, I am not your friend, I do not care what your opinions are on life, or on what is childish, stupid or not. I did not ask you if you believed that some individuals here were "devils" so please, next time, do abstain. I do not "demonize" those who are against my views, stop prejudging and again, I do not care about you nor you opinions.

You seem very confident and pedant. I would advise you to read the Qu'ran a few times, you will too reach the conclusion that Khatamu Rasul is similar to Khatumu l'annbiyaa. I am not saying anymore than this, if Allah wanted you to know, he would have guided you to this, long time ago.

Sunnis are very knowledgeable individuals huh ? Anyway, I can tell you with all honesty that in my humble opinion, Rashad Khalifa's "translation" (for me it is another book, and not a translation) is the worst of all. He takes out, adds words, rips contexts out and so on.
It is your choice anyway.

Shalom,
Calm down my friends. We are all learning. In the process we will be right on some things, wrong on others. Lets not allow that to fuel our arrogance and divide us.

Believing that RK is a messenger, does not mean you have to believe that his translation is the best translation,

Muhammed was the messenger of God, and the LAST PROPHET (3340)"... when he died you said, "GOD will not send any other messenger after him. Like this does GOD send astray those who are transgressors, doubtful (4034)

381 God took a covenant from the prophets "For what I have given you of the book and wisdom, then a messenger will come to you authenticating/confirming what is with you. You will acknowledge him and support him." He said, "Do you testify, and agree to this burden?" they said, "We testify." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you bearing witness."
Prophets bring scriptures, messengers confirm them. A prophet is automatically a messenger as well, whereas a messenger is not necessarily a prophet as well. Both messengers and prophets may deliver knowledge about the unseen.
This is concept is confirmed by verse (735)
" O children of Adam, if messengers come to you from among you, and recite My revelations to you, those who take heed and lead a righteous life, will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.(735)

I agree with brother jafar and youssef. As far as I'm aware of there is a clear difference between a messenger and a prophet.
A Prophet is one who is authorized by God to bring scripture or an enlightening book ....
2213 The people used to be one nation, then God sent the prophets as bearers of good news and as warners, and He sent down with them the book with the facts so that they may judge between the people in what they were disputing. But after receiving the proof, the people disputed in it due to animosity between them. God guided those who acknowledged with His permission regarding what they disputed in of the truth. God guides whoever/whomever (He) wishes to a straight path.
379 It is not for a human that God would give him the book, the authority, and the prophethood, then he would say to the people "Be servants to me rather than to God!", rather "Be devotees to what you have been taught of the book, and to what you studied."
689 Those to whom We have given the book, the law, and the prophethood, if they reject it, then We will entrust it to a people who will not reject it.
2927 We granted him Isaac and Jacob, and We made within his progeny the prophethood and the book. We gave him his reward in this world, and in the Hereafter he is among the righteous.
5726 We had sent Noah and Abraham, and We placed in their progeny the prophethood and the book. Some of them were guided, while many were wicked.
Messenger's are not the same as Prophets......
Sura 2252 is a clear indication that Messenger's and Prophets are TWO SEPARATE HIERARCHIES ....
2252 We did not send before you any messenger or prophet, without having the devil interfere with his wishes. God then overrides what the devil has cast, and God secures His signs. God is Knower, Wise.If messenger and prophet had the same meaning why would God say messenger or prophet(or in some translations messenger nor a prophet????)
Another proof that shows a difference between prophets and messengers is Sura 381
381 God took a covenant from the prophets "For what I have given you of the book and wisdom, then a messenger will come to you authenticating what is with you. You will acknowledge him and support him." He said, "Do you testify, and agree to this burden?" they said, "We testify." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you bearing witness."
Regarding Modern messengers other than Dr.Khalifa I believe that there will be one more that will exist prior to the end of the world which will also be the same one which the Jews were expecting to come for many centuries.

Perhaps you should move this to the Submitters' category, because all of the arguments presented are based on numerology and especially on 19. Nevertheless, I must say that these sites do bring amusement, it is funny to see how far some people are ready to go to justify their mad dreams.
-
It wouldn't really be mad dreams.
A messenger is simply a person with a message.
If you invite someone to follow the Quran alone, then you are kind of acting like a messenger.
Messengers are humans.
To every community is a messenger 1636, a guide (137), a warner... even jinns have warners 4629" Messengers to deliver good news, as well as warnings. Thus, the people will have no excuse when they face God, after all these messengers have come to them. God is Almighty, Most Wise. (4165)
