The Secret! what is the Secret?
Well it is the 'Law of attraction'. which by wiki definition is "ia metaphysical belief that "like attracts like" (e.g optimism brings about good things, while pessimism brings about bad things)

The basic three stipulations of this law of attraction is 1) Ask (i.e ask the "universe" of anything you want/persistantly) 2) Believe (i.e believe that you're going to recieve) 3) Recieve (i.e after a time, you will recieve what you're asking for)

I do cite this phenominon in that i myself have used this "law of attraction", during my days of agnosticism, and from personal experiance, i can most definitely attest in that it DOES work!

Now let's Ponder here! Who is this wonderful intelligent universe, that KNOWS what you're asking for, and GRANTS you your wishes?
Is it none other than The Lord God Almighty? Verily indeed!

Also a note on asking, this is very well ion line with the teachings that God Almighty granted to Jesus in that He taught to be in persistant in prayer (parable of persistant widow), and taught that if you pray while BELIEVING you're going to recieve (i.e faith), you wll recieve it! (Matthew 2122). This is also well along the lines of the Quran, where the Most Gracious states that he will readily answers our prayers (4060) & let's not forget the OT references Jeremi-YAH 333 & psalms 9115)

~ Praise & Thanks be To His Most, Supreme, High Majesty, YHWH; who answers his servants calls & saves them from thier tribulations! ~
~ Blessed is his most Blessed, Supreme, High Majesty, YHWH The EVERLASTING, Mighty Lord of the Universe! ~

          Peace all.

This is a great subject that can benefit all believers. One can get a much better insight on how God?s system is working, and also a better understanding of the power of mind and prayers. Why are such threads put aside and forgotten while threads that cause drama and hatred updated by the minutes?

"...Some people would say 'Our Lord, give us of this world,' while having no share in the Hereafter.
Others would say 'Our Lord, grant us good things in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and spare us the retribution of Hell. These will receive the share they have earned. GOD is most efficient in reckoning." (2200-202)

It is an amazing thing...one can achieve much in this world if he/she get the wisdom of this method.

What is needed is the following
Imagine something (or someone 2102) you want
Pray to your god (no matter if it is Jesus, Imam Ali, Black stone or a lion)
Have strong faith in your God, have no doubt at all
Think positive about your wish, put all energi on it, imagine yourself getting it. With time you will get it.

That is why some christians/hindus/wahabites etc etc, have so strong faith in their religions as they experience this powerfull method. They do get their prayers answered, and believe it is the Creator who answers them. What people do not understand is that the system is already set up and embedded in the creation.

It is one of the great mysteries in the teachings of Kabbalah.
This thread have nothing to do with "paranormal jiin activity abrakadabra", it should be placed in the section of "comment on the quran".

I have an issue with 'praying to your god no matter what it is'...why does one need to pray to a god even if it is a rock? Is there something inbuilt in this system that one must pray to something even though it has no power to help or hinder? As long as we don't know that or is it something else? One alternate possibility then may be that one can circumvent the need for prayer to 'something' by the belief of personally achieving their goals overriding anything else/there is no power other than the power of belief in oneself or somesuch. If that too can work and Atheists can also rejoice in this method, then the prayer to something is irrelevant. If that doesn't work, then the prayer to something becomes a whole lot more complicated and/or integral and one needs to find the right god so to speak?

That is why some christians/hindus/wahabites etc etc, have so strong faith in their religions as they experience this powerfull method. They do get their prayers answered, and believe it is the Creator who answers them. What people do not understand is that the system is already set up and embedded in the creation.
I think that this is a different issue which may have no links to their prayers being accepted because they have strong faith in their religions. For example, someone prays to their dark god to curse someone who got a promotion instead of them, full on faith that it will occur and the guy gets a heart attack. With a new designation and a new office, can he really say it was because the dark lord answered his prayers? Or do these type of things occur coincidentally? Were there plenty of times he cursed other people with full on faith that they would suffer and nothing occurred? Of course, may well be...but like other things, we are fond of looking at the success stories and not our failures, because if it did 'work' once, it can happen again...and the psychological aspect of 'we did something right to make it happen' rather than it was just a favourable coincidence and the stars aligned naturally because it was time or something.

Plenty of times, we don't ask for things and they get thrust into our laps, we don't go out there wishing for it to happen but good things happen anyways...things that we would have wished for had we known we wanted/needed it. We can call them lucky coincidences without missing a beat, but if we get something even if it is years in the future after having prayed for it at some point in the murky past, it becomes something special that we had a hand in, not a coincidence at all.

The thing is, the principle behind this 'law of attraction' in my view is to help focus the person into knowing what he wants, how to get it and so on. When you focus on something, you consciously or subconsciously start working towards that goal. To say have faith, is not as simple as belief tends to be a combination of intentions and action. Anything less is just either speech/thoughts without proper focus/direction/connections or coincidental/otherwise actions divorced from proper focus/direction/connections (4914 etc). So, e.g. to keep repeating a mantra in one's head could lead to the person consciously or subconsciously doing something in real time to get closer to the goal...if it stays a repetitive phrase without leading to any actions/change of thought, then what good does it do? Is there some magic inherent in the system that repeating something often enough (even with total intensity) will lead to one getting their desires met? Far as I see, one reaps what they sow, and mental seeds without due diligence as to their nurturing (actions) will not lead to a harvest, of any kind. If it does, it's coincidental/some other reason, not because one had a 'hand in making it so'.

Maybe it coming true at whatever time is to aid him in his development/see what his state of mind interprets it as without it being given just because he asked for it. Same holds true for it not being manifested. When things happen...we tend to look at it as good or bad, we insist on doing that...hardly anyone sees it as neutral. Which is just as well, because seeing most everything as neutral is a complication on it's own...but that is what we as humans do, categorise, judge, put in boxes, mark as good/bad etc...some go further, even taking the fact that they missed their bus today as something that has or must have an effect on their lives, even if nothing remotely close to sliding doors would've happened...happening for a reason, there must be a reason, same way we tend to go overboard with numerology where every number and the importance we give to it has a meaning. different types of Pareidolia etc. It's what causes so much dissent in a way, the fact that we can derive different interpretations of same data sets, it's unthinkable!...it can be a strength or weakness, depending on how balanced we are. We should always try to see how our understanding fits in the whole, taking in different interpretations of data which can be of the type that we wouldn't normally subscribe to, in fact I think this is key to understanding the whole. Diversity is very important to understanding the way this system works.

Does it make sense though? Two guys wanting better careers One works hard at his job, has belief in his hard work being the reason for his eventual success and another sits around strongly imagining that he will get eventual success by praying? There's a balance here, and that balance is the intentions/actions part. They both go hand in hand, or it's just the same as ups and downs in life that happen regardless of whether you 'pray' or don't. Of course, there are people that get what they want without even asking for it, those that get it if they asked for it and those that don't whether they asked for it or not. How do we relate all these things together? Some of it being coincidental? Some of it being prayers being answered? Due to the diverse nature of such, it's hard to say if there is any method that would 100% result in one's 'prayers coming true'. What happens in these cases is that either someone gives up eventually, someone feels that it was for the best that that prayer wasn't answered because it wasn't the best thing, someone thinks that they've changed their mind and now have a different request, some get what they want and chalk it down to their prayers, some don't and think they did it wrong, some similarly don't and think that they did it right but it wasn't the best time and so on and so forth.

It's in the nature of things with a strong variability component that cause a myriad of results and reactions, and human nature to want to feel/think that they have the better of such vagaries/to exert some degree of control over life etc. This results in people taking charge in their own different ways, given that nothing is guaranteed except the lesson in the quran of reaping what we sow...I opine that intentions with actions is the best possible way to achieve what we want. Whether this involves the law of attraction helping us to that balanced focus or something else similarly doing so, otherwise we are just drifting without having the tools to direct ourselves.

I strongly believe in prayer as a component to the whole, but it has to be directed right, and one needs the right focus and frame of mind. It's not as simple as praying 'God, I wish I had a nice crocodile that will love me forever' and expecting it to somehow drop into their lap just based on we prayed hard enough, imagined it strongly without doubt, so it should happen...one day or tomorrow. On that note, not many have these weird prayer requests do they? Most of us have the common ones like love, career, health and so on and so forth like all these people going to 'fortune tellers' would attest to. Even putting aside the Mesdames Tarot Cards, one can see it around us. The true power of the law of attraction as it is would unfold if a lot of people started wishing/praying for croc like things. The more common a prayer, something like 50/50 chances...pray I pass the driving test...I can see myself driving...Yay! It happened! for real! this really works! Or aww, I didn't pray hard enough, stray thoughts of Jeremy Clarkson in a speedo ruined my chances, next time gadget. The real test is in finding that crocodile that will love you forever. Or in this law's case, a hundred of them, I'm not even asking for a 1000.

It is one of the great mysteries in the teachings of Kabbalah.

Peace sister and thank you for your reply.

Sometimes you think of someone (lets just say his name is Adam), you want to pick your phone and call this person, in that very second you pick up your phone to make a call, Adam calls you. It is not a coincidence. Adam was thinking of you before you thought about him. His thoughts effected you, he attracted your mind only by thinking of you.

Now imagine it is the opposite, you think of Adam, you pick the phone and make your call, Adam says
?Nadia, this is so scary, I was thinking of you and just picked the phone to call you, but you called me first?.
You do not put any second thought about what just happened, you may call it the magic of love or whatever. What actually happened was that you put all your focus on Adam, you could hear his voice in your head very clearly, you could imagine his face. Your desire was to call him, you teleported your desire/wish to him so he too started to think of you.

                    Another scenario is this
You think so much of Adam, much of your time is spent on focusing on him. You like adam very much so your focus of your desire is unbreakable. You imagine yourself holding Adams hand in the park, having a good time. Days later, Adam tells you he had a dream about you and him holding hands in a beautiful place.

Just like the micro waves that one uses to connect with another person on the other side of the globe, there is something even greater in the creation of the Almighty God. Think, string theory.

Yes even atheists can rejoice of this law. All people have a god, an atheist may have himself as a god if he depends only on his own. His prayer may sound very much different but the method is the same, all focus is put on that particular desire.

Of course one cannot sit all life in a cave and ask God to turn the cave into a castle, one have to work towards that. The desire/wish have to be realistic. For some things, you need to put more effort than just spreading your thought waves.

?For example, someone prays to their dark god to curse someone who got a promotion instead of them??

Praying that evil happens to someone else would attract the evil to you, that is how the attraction works. No matter which god you have put your faith in, your negative thoughts will hit you and only you.

However, one can use this system for good and/or evil (2102)
?And they followed what the devils recited regarding the kingship of Solomon. Solomon did not reject, but it was the devils who rejected by teaching people magic/manipulation, and teaching them what was sent down on the two angels/controllers in Babylon, Haroot and Maroot. They did not teach anyone until they would say "We are a test, so do not lose faith!" (1) Thus they teach what can separate between a person and his mate; (2) but they cannot harm anyone except with the permission of God. (3) And they learn what harms them and does not benefit them, and they have known that he who purchases such has no place in the Hereafter. Miserable indeed is what they purchased with their souls if only they knew!?

                    (1) I believe this is speaking about the misusage of the law of attraction, where people seduce other people by their thoughts. I have used it multiply of times during my practice of mystics and would say that there is absolutely no coincidence. Do not call it telepathy, it is still the same law.

                    (2) When it does not work out for you, as you wished, it is not a coincidence. You just did not have the permission of God to manipulate this person.

                    (3) One should seek refuge in God after receiving the wisdom of this law and stay away from this forbidden tree.

And thank you bro, for your reply. I actually had a lot of varied thoughts but didn't spend any time editing, my bad.

I don't doubt that these types of Adam scenarios happen, but not only with people one would call particularly close...just out of the blue you think of someone even someone that you knew for a very short time at one point in your life...and there would be either a phone call or something or the other. I've often wondered why that was, was it some sort of communication that is beyond what we can 'see' or was it a self fulfilling prophecy somehow or somesuch. If we think of it as a web that is connected all over and we occasionally 'tap' into it due to various factors? If so, that may be a decent explanation for these type of scenarios. If we mean that there must be some sort of 'force' driving this i.e. between two people who feel a lot for one another/focused on one another, then I would tend to disagree based on my experiences with not only those that we think about strongly, but with those we don't particularly think about/don't have strong bonds with as well. Of course, those with whom we are close, we tend to be on a level that is different than random acquaintances. Could bonds/'strong attraction' have a bearing on a relationship, very much so, but that would not explain the latter being able to tap in to the web as well especially when we weren't even focused on them?...it's interesting to think about.

I've also thought about why negative thoughts would be bad for someone who'd think it a positive outcome if something negative was to happen to someone else...we can think that people who wish destruction etc on others would have it reflected back on them the karma is a bitch situation... but many a time in rl, those ruining others lives etc tend to 'get away' with the the consequences, thus the entire philosophy of everyone getting theirs in the end. Of course, we can always imagine these guys are twisted souls in a hell of their own, but would they see it that way? probably not. If they did, they'd try to change and so on but they're in deep and maybe even believe that it's the right way to go given the positive affirmation their actions/society bestows upon them and so on. It's a way of life and if one reads snakes in suits for example, they usually get away with it on the temporal plane.

Anyways, if you don't mind, I'd be interested in hearing more about your experiences during your practice. What started you on that path, were there any highlights that shaped the way you see things currently and so on. PM me please if it's OT; it's an area of interest.

                          peace

4220 Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We will increase for him his harvest. And whoever seeks the harvest of this world, We will give him therefrom, and he will have no share in the Hereafter.

When I was in middle school I prayed eagerly to Allah to give me a soulmate. I was very specific about what I wanted in him. After 10 years, the exact man appeared in my life and now he is my fiance. Its too creepy that physically and mentally he matches everything I ever asked for.

The Qur'an says you can and should seek the good things of this world and the next, so that quote is talking about people who only seek from this world and do not seek anything in the hereafter.

As for the "law of attraction" it is in my opinion a deceptive form of shirk, which the Qur'an even talks about

Or do you have some book to study from?
that you shall be given whatever you choose?
Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain?
Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this!
Or have they some "Partners" ("Co-Creators&quot? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful!
On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able,
With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt.
Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not.
for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while, My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm!

                                1314
To Him is due the true prayer; and those whom they pray to besides Allah give them no answer, but (they are) like one who stretches forth his two hands towards water that it may reach his mouth, but it will not reach it; and the prayer of the unbelievers is only in error.

Allah is the one who gives you your desires, leads you astray or aright, and Allah is the one who gives you anything, and may also make it that you do not desire what you get, or that you desire something and it comes, or any variation, but it is Allah who is in control of everything, you do not command Allah or get whatever you ask for necessarily, all power belongs to Allah who creates whatever information or reality Allah wants.

The "Secret" uses terms like "co-creators" and says "we are all co-creators" and that whatever you set your intention upon you will get it. The Qur'an talks about these ideas apparently existing even in the past, and that they are false, and that it is basically shirk, associating oneself with Allah or Allah's power to make things happen. It is different from the realization of total surrender.

I wonder why both follow such a God. I don't see much of difference between the characteristics of Allah and Satan then, except that Satan is also a being under Allah. I read this in an article

'The following verses assert that Allah misleads people by making their deeds pleasing to them.

"As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction."
?Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide.?

This is mischievous. Why would God do such thing? But wait a minute. In other parts of the Quran Muhammad says that it is Satan that makes their sinful act seem alluring to them.

?..On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and SATAN made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them."
"Remember SATAN made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said..."
"By Allah, We (also) sent (Our messengers) to Peoples before thee; but Satan made, (to the wicked), their own acts seem alluring He is also their patron today."

Well, that makes sense. Since Satan?s goal is to deceive and mislead, he is capable of doing such thing. So is it Satan or is it Allah that makes sin alluring to people? Could it be that the two are one? How can we be sure that they are not the same?'

I feel FreedomStands also may not have problem in knowing that Allah and Satan are actually the same being with a split personality, like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hide, since he said earlier this "God is the Lord of Evil, the Master of Good, the source of all happiness, sadness, and all experiences and thoughts and creeds and technologies and evil deeds and good deeds and whatever else."

                                  Peace.

It isn't a split personality, it is One Ultimate Source, it isn't a duality of opposites or two, it is the manifestation of all information from one source.

Satan means enemy, and there can be no greater Enemy than Allah, if one is going to make an Enemy out of Allah or Allah makes Himself an enemy towards people, because Allah is the foe who can not be defeated, who has already won, there is no battle, there is no option, there is only Surrender.

Iblis is a Shaitan, one of many shaitans from among the jinn and men, these are also controlled by Allah ultimately, and they can only do as Allah wills.

Or is it that you believe in a God that has faltered? That did not wish for these things to be, but can not defeat them easily? Do you believe in a God that is at war? That has an enemy who can oppose him? Do you believe in a God who does not want things to be the way they are but is so helpless that it can not do anything about it? Or a God that can do some things about it, but can not instantly overcome anything? Why would you worship a God that is thus like a man in its weakness? Even if such a being existed, I would never call such God, even if such had the greatest intentions for people and did good things, it would not be the Ultimate, it would be less than the Ultimate, it would have obstacles, it would be limited, it would be restrained, it would need a process in order to achieve rather than the one that creates everything.

Shaitan is just one enemy of many enemies, controlled by Allah whether they know it or not, but there is no greater power than Allah, Who is the Enemy to some, but the Enemy which can not be overcome or defeated.

They call Satan, Lucifer at times, even though the term is also used of Jesus the Messiah son of Mary as well, and referring to the Morning Star was apparently a general epithet for Semitic Kings, but the meaning of the specific Latin term Lucifer, which refers to the morning star, is "Light Bearer", and who then is the truest light bearer of all? Allah is the one who created all natural light and all metaphorical light in the sense of "knowledge" or "that which makes one see" and Allah is the one who makes one able to see, and makes things manifest to people, thus Allah is also most appropriately Amun-Ra, Amun meaning Unseen and Ra meaning Manifest, or "that which makes manifest", "that which brings to light".

                                    1983
Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion?
Hence, be not in haste upon them for We but number the number of their days.

Satan is not the King of Devils, Allah is the Lord of all the Devils, the Commander of all Hosts, the Lord of All Armies both the just and the cruel.

demon (n.) Look up demon at Dictionary.com
c.1200, from Latin daemon "spirit," from Greek daimon "deity, divine power; lesser god; guiding spirit, tutelary deity" (sometimes including souls of the dead); "one's genius, lot, or fortune;" from PIE *dai-mon- "divider, provider" (of fortunes or destinies), from root *da- "to divide" (see tide (n.)).

Used (with daimonion) in Christian Greek translations and Vulgate for "god of the heathen" and "unclean spirit." Jewish authors earlier had employed the Greek word in this sense, using it to render shedim "lords, idols" in the Septuagint, and Matt. viii31 has daimones, translated as deofol in Old English, feend or deuil in Middle English. Another Old English word for this was hellcniht, literally "hell-knight."

The original mythological sense is sometimes written daemon for purposes of distinction. The Demon of Socrates was a daimonion, a "divine principle or inward oracle." His accusers, and later the Church Fathers, however, represented this otherwise. The Demon Star (1895) is Algol.

Who is the Daemon, by that definition, who is the "divider of fortunes" the "provider of fates"? Allah Alone! Allah Alone divides the fortunes of people, Allah alone decides their lot in life, what they are and what they will be.

                                    Who is the Weird?
weird (adj.) Look up weird at Dictionary.com
c.1400, "having power to control fate, from wierd (n.), from Old English wyrd "fate, chance, fortune; destiny; the Fates," literally "that which comes," from Proto-Germanic *wurthiz (cognates Old Saxon wurd, Old High German wurt "fate," Old Norse ur?r "fate, one of the three Norns&quot, from PIE *wert- "to turn, to wind," (cognates German werden, Old English weor?an "to become&quot, from root *wer- (3) "to turn, bend" (see versus). For sense development from "turning" to "becoming," compare phrase turn into "become."

The sense "uncanny, supernatural" developed from Middle English use of weird sisters for the three fates or Norns (in Germanic mythology), the goddesses who controlled human destiny. They were portrayed as odd or frightening in appearance, as in "Macbeth" (and especially in 18th and 19th century productions of it), which led to the adjectival meaning "odd-looking, uncanny" (1815); "odd, strange, disturbingly different" (1820). Related Weirdly; weirdness.

It is Allah alone who controls the Fates, thus Allah is Zeus Moiragetes, God the Master of Fates.

These are just terminologies that can be used to refer to the Ultimate by the definition and qualities that belong Ultimate alone.

God is the Chaos, in both its definitions, in the sense of "Like Nothing" which was the original meaning of Chaos which meant "void" or "that which is like nothing by which everything was produced" (since Hesiod among others referred to Khaos as the original Protogenoi or Originating force) and in the sense of Chaos now, complete and total Free Will, unbounded by anything, can do anything, and whatever Allah makes true or real, it will be so, and whatever Allah destroys or makes like nothing, Allah alone has all the power.

I am not, when I speak of the Ultimate, referring to some man in the sky with a big white beard, sitting in the clouds, who has a background that is greater, but instead I am speaking of the Ultimate, that is not made of any information, so not pure blackness, not empty space, not pure whiteness, unimaginable because there is literally no information to imagine, no form, no limits, no size, no dimensions, no laws, nothing at all, except that it has the power to produce information and encompasses and contains and upholds and sustains and animates all information it produces, a productive power called Musubi in Japan and Logos by the Stoics and Christians, and Vac by the Hindus as well as Shakti.

Allah is Shiva (Auspicious), but not those images they attribute as depictions of Shiva, those are just information, and no information encompasses Allah, Allah is not made of any information but makes all information and encompasses all information that is created. When something is made non-existent entirely, it is said to "become nothing" and thus "return to Allah", the same occurs to us when we cease to experience information, and non-information can not be experience, so it is entirely skipped, same with absolute unconsciousness or a dreamless sleep, all non-information is skipped and is like "returning to Allah".

Allah is Vishnu (Pervading), but all this information is encompassed by Allah, Allah is behind all of it, directly animating it all, and its information which gives a sense of space, dimensions, distances, we are all just encompassed by Allah having information given to us, and that is all we know and all "we are" and we can be made to experience anything at all, and our memories can be switched, and we are as the Buddhists say "empty", behind all this is "nothing" that is Allah, we do not have an eternal being, we are not immortals, we are only what Allah makes us, and Allah can eradicate us, and Allah can bring us back, and Allah can create any information, and the manipulation of information, its creation and destruction, this is all the Ultimate's dominion and power to do, there is nothing but the Ultimate and whatever information the Ultimate creates.

I am a thus, a genuine Christian, Buddhist, Jew, Hindu, Atheist, Muslim, Deist, Theist, Follower of the Ancient Religions, Zoroastrian Magi, who knows who has the real Magic, who controls the power of illusion and Sihr. All the Sorcerers who witnessed the Miracle of Allah instantly turning the wood into the snake, surrendered realizing the true power of Allah to change information instantly, and I too am such, a Sorcerer who is aware of the source of all Power, who turns works, even the words people fear like Death (Thanatos), and Annihilation (Nirvana), and Destroyer (Apollyon, Apollo) into praises of the Ultimate and turning what seems bad like Hate, Anger, Envy, into good, by saying we should Hate what is harmful, be Angry towards a bad condition so we strive if Allah so wills to work against it and are energized by anger towards goodness and improvement if Allah so wills (Insha'Allah), and be envious of those who are most beautiful and excellent in conduct so we seek to covet and seize for ourselves those excellent behaviors if Allah so wills. Thus is my practice of Sihr and Sorcery, all as a devotee of the Lord of the Worlds, the Master of Everything, Who fetters the will, as it is written of the Suevians in Germania when speaking of Regnator Omnium Deus

In Tacitus' work Germania from the year 98, regnator omnium deus (god, ruler of all) was a deity worshipped by the Semnones tribe in a sacred grove. Comparisons have been made between this reference and the poem Helgakvi?a Hundingsbana II, recorded in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources.

                                    According to Tacitus

Of all the Suevians, the Semnones recount themselves to be the most ancient and most noble. The belief of their antiquity is confirmed by religious mysteries. At a stated time of the year, all the several people descended from the same stock, assemble by their deputies in a wood; consecrated by the idolatries of their forefathers, and by superstitious awe in times of old. There by publicly sacrificing a man, they begin the horrible solemnity of their barbarous worship. To this grove another sort of reverence is also paid. No one enters it otherwise than bound with ligatures, thence professing his subordination and meanness, and the power of the Deity there. If he falls down, he is not permitted to rise or be raised, but grovels along upon the ground. And of all their superstition, this is the drift and tendency; that from this place the nation drew their original, that here God, the supreme Governor of the world, resides, and that all things else whatsoever are subject to him and bound to obey him.

                                    Poetic Edda
The description is often compared with a prose paragraph in the Eddic poem Helgakvi?a Hundingsbana II where a place called Fj?turlundr (grove of fetters) is mentioned

Helgi obtained Sigr?n, and they had sons. Helgi lived not to be old. Dag, the son of H?gni, sacrificed to Odin, for vengeance for his father. Odin lent Dag his spear. Dag met with his relation Helgi in a place called Fi?turlund, and pierced him through with his spear. Helgi fell there, but Dag rode to the mountains and told Sigr?n what had taken place.

Due to the resemblance between the two texts some scholars have identified the deity of the Semnones with an early form of Odin. Others suggest an early form of T?r may have been involved as he is the one to put fetters on Fenrir in Norse mythology; yet Odin is considered the god of binding and fettering of the will. There is insufficient evidence for a certain identification.

There is God, and there is everything, that He has created, mainly separate consciousness that do not acknowledge themselves as His conscience.

That is nothing terrible, that is a condition for creation. That is a mnaifestation of divinity in the sense that everything comes from Him and returns to him. The shaytanic forces aim a keeping separation, whereas the aim of conscioussness is to return to The consciousness. So ibliis and shaytan are elements that sustain the creation but that keep its elements from returning to God-consciousness. They are useful elements, but they are bad elements for people who seek the ascension back to God consciousness.

                                        Hello FreedomStands,

Shaitan is just one enemy of many enemies, controlled by Allah whether they know it or not, but there is no greater power than Allah, Who is the Enemy to some, but the Enemy which can not be overcome or defeated.

Oh my God. The descriptions seem to be getting creepier and creepier. Apparently Allah is then the King of Goodness and the King of Evil. In a way of polarity it makes sense. But then I doubt evil is what God also is equally capable of doing or something, as you seem to be implying. Because God's attributes have mercy and justice included within.

I am actually starting to prefer the occasional creepy and horrendous behaviour and attitude of Allah in the Quran in it's traditional interpretations and translations than this monster version. Okay, maybe not. Both suck.

Guys, please pay attention to what you come across. Make your own thorough research before you accept anything, particularly about the nature of God. Because God is at the end the only real Source we have, to look up to. And very importantly, we humans have a tendency to copy God's attributes. The kind of Source we look up to is the kind of attributes we would slowly start assimilating with.

                                        Peace.

Can you describe God to me in as much detail as possible? I'm talking about what is real, that God is the source of everything, so everything is from Allah, the good and the bad, its not really a polarity, each is just a kind of information or experience out of many experiences God might create for us.
