Ok a show like seinfeild I better than that of American pie and pretty much all the other movies out at the moment. But I mean there will only b one Kramer ) and yeas I understand that u may only go so far wit an Islamic show, but I'm sure u cld make it funny as, and something for us Muslims to watch rather than crap on tv or crap from traditional Muslims.

Well I never wanna do anything as extreme as American Pie as I hate shitty teenage life >_< that isn't regular everyday life, that's just stupid rotfl Seinfeld is what I wanna do basically and the sitcom is basically based around my life and my friends which is why there are people who will drink sometimes or eat pork or even talk about sex as those are my friends who did with me (and me being a character too but not doing those things of course other than many righteously discuss sex lol)

@Ozi Kristi-lee I also wanna state that American Pie and a naked woman in it and I definitely wouldn't make my actors go totally nude or do any action that would be haram there. Thus the meat they would eat wouldn't have actually been pork anyways (rather beef) and the wine would have been some sort of juice lol
But yeah clearly there are boundaries but I would only go as far as Seinfeld when it comes to comedy. Horror movies and action films are also other stuff I like doing too just so you know.

I guess i'll reply even though I don't consider you a good source unlike everyone else in this topic but I won't be replying any further to you after this.
You say porn, but porn is completely different from Seinfeld. Seinfeld is just simply the west in its everyday life where they do what they normally do whether it be live their life. They might go outside to some restaurant and one might order alcohol and pork, sometimes people in the west wonder and talk about sex with each other, and amongst other things that are common to westerners. The intention here is to show reality with some comedy mixed into it while not glorifying any of these clearly.
As for porn; porn has two sins to it. The first is that you get your actors to fornicate together thus you have encouraged them to do that with each other directly and the second sin is that the intention of this is to raise and glorify the lust of people by showing straight up sex.
Apple and freakin oranges, don't say stupid things. The aim isn't for muslims so I clearly am not showing that it is okay for muslims to eat or do such things as clearly in reality a muslim doesn't do that stuff, thus why the characters are your average irreligious westerners who regularly do these things otherwise that would be a lie on reality if the westerners didn't go by their natural lives. Quite frankly by your logic I guess I should make a move about why cars are bad too as they can be used to kill people or make a film about why women should wear "burqas" as being without one can apparently provoke lust. I am keeping these things there neutrally and not glorifying them as that is the real west. Up to the freakin audience at that point. If what I make which has no intention of getting them to do such things and some idiot thinks its okay even though its a fiction and not glorified, then that is their own fault, much like someone who could take a self defence weapon and use as an offensive one.
Also whats with you using hadith on a Quran only board? and let alone why would I care if Muhammad is angry with me? I praise GOD ONLY! I'm not some sunni who places muhammad as a judge or something, I am a Quranist who only cares for what GOD thinks. What are you? some Sunni Traditionalist?

I said I wouldn't reply back but you just crossed a line. What right do you have to call me a sexist? (spell it correctly too next time) First off you totally LOVE to bring out the worst in people. If you had any decency, you would have read my posts before in that I do not seek sex and that just cause the one I love might want something in the future, I thought of doing a Nikah Misyar which is NOT prostitution or anything sex related but rather a marriage with both sides stating in their vows that provisions aren't needed on either ends and thus we could be married and if the woman might want to get intimate, at least it won't be illegal. I am 22 and have lived my whole life without sex and can live quite fine without it, so I clearly am not after that. I am after love, but if the woman wants it I have to make sure. And yes SLAVE have been allowed in Islam that's what right hand possession meant and always meant. Muhammad couldn't abolish considering the world ran on it at that time so he made rules for it so they can have some rights too. That is why you lost so much credibility.

For G-d sake he's a jew.. he never eats pork.. it's not a 'western life' it's more about 'a jew living a western life'..BTW I'm fond of 'religious satire' and so far Monty Python's 'Life Of Brian' is still the best..
Oh but Jerry wasn't much of a Jew in the show, he ate "crab bisque soup" in the soup nazi episode which crab is forbidden for Jews to eat, so clearly Jerry while ethnically Jewish in the show was pretty secular or irreligious considering he did eat that stuff and fornicated and stuff. Thus average life for a westerner as he that is what he was portrayed as in the end and not really much of a Jewish man even though he said he was a Jew.

Also, hopefully the film would be about a central story and peripheral things like someone getting up in arms about some guy with a heineken at a bbq and the ramifications...doesn't really mean much at the end of the day.My brother recently made his first movie...there's kissing, and the two actors are married in real life...will be interesting to see the reactions. If nothing else, he can then make another one just based on the reactions of the people with the pitchforks.

Tell your brother I said congrats D Though I don't see the problem of kissing as we as Quranists don't see it as sinful unless it leads to fornicating so even if not married, I wouldn't see the issue then. Some take a lighter tone and some can go pretty nuts based and some are quite logical at that. Of course that is what makes it nice here as its not just one view like with strict sunni and shia views but multiple as we can really get our minds thinking.
