With "Al" , I wanted to emphasize on it more. Its like there is a difference between "a bad guy" and "THE bad guy". In that way, bollywood is "THE haraam"

I think we are talking at two different levels. I am not declaring bollywood haraam on the basis of our system (ISLAM). The last time I checked, I wasn't a god beside The God. P
I was merely stating that in my party, it is something which is not allowed. Just like taking your notes with you in a closed book examination would be declared haraam by the examination board.
You just sounded like a typical traditionalist scholar. ( P
