Any pointers as to what the definition of muslim in the Quran?

From what I know a muslim by definition is the following
Is there any other verse that defines a Muslim differently, or expands from this definition?

A muslim is the one who receives 'The Welcome Salam' from Allah, delivered by the Angels, by the leave of Allah, at the time of capturing his soul on the last breath of his living in this world. Until then, we strive to remove the shirk we are committing to our iman with fear for Allah, to attain such status as 'Muslims' on the Final Hour, the Beginning of our Lasting Day.
