    Hi guys!

I thought this might be a fascinating read if anyone likes a bit of science xD about the creation of matter ).

Thoughts would be nice D. I just thought "wow" | D!!

Meh, science is extremely corrupted, especially the one the fake genius Hawkings follows. I wouldn't be so sure if this is actually true or not.

Really...?? What would be the harm if this were to be true though? What reprocusions could this have on anything? At the end of the day it doesn't define Allah... I suppose higgs would just be an explanation of how matter got its mass. I've personally been inside CERN and seen their equipment and such and have seen simulations of particle collisions with protons... just doesn't seem like something they would fake considering it took 45 years ^o)...

            Selam Youssef ,

Yeah that caught my eye too... I thinks it's a good step to getting into the specifics of how this universe was made alhamdulilah xD! What you make of it xD anyone else who likes their science would like to comment?

              salam all,

Yesterday I watched the inside story of the discovery of a higgs particle in aljazeera..
there was this weird professor that actually talked about the possible of creation of a black hole in the center caused by the energy of the reaction reaching beyond 8Tev. The other two professors one from cern and another from usa felt that the claims are just ridiculous.
the weird professor claimed that the theory is backed by a recently (this February) published journal or something.

              anybody watched it?
what are the possibilities that this weird professor is saying the truth?

              peace,

It's already clear, using uncorrupted science and the Quran, how the universe was made. Allah, the transfinite overarching dichotomised conscious purity, manifested galaxies, who formed the universe.

Very nice description ). Think I'll take that . No seriously I'm agreeing was interesting to see what people thought of the new discovery that's all. When I read it I just thought another beautiful part of how Allah made the universe (out of infinite parts).

Yes but like I said, this is a lie. Just like many other lies for example the Big Bang, Black Holes, Dark matter etc...

                      Salaam,

I saw and read something about it, I learned that the particle gives mass to other particles. I was wondering how did the particle get's it's own mass.

I am not into this stuff, so probably I am asking a stupid question.

It's not your fault, this is obviously a lie. I knew it was since I saw Stephen Hawking's pic in that article, then I saw the only alive physician I believe saying it was a lie, and confirmed my suspicions

                            Very nice article Mazhar ).

I agree with what you have evaluated and I think yes Man is doing a good job of discovering what is already catalogized but they fail to realise how fruitful life is and to be aware of the hereafter... Which they most likely disregard.

Why do you say science is corrupted? Personally, I always believed that science is a way for humans to avoid corruption and bias.

Because the sovereigns have corrupted it to hide the truth from people. Also it makes them a crapload of money.

Not at all. Science is totally open and transparent. There is no faith. If you were to sit down and learn then all of these seemingly alien equations you see getting thrown around become totally natural and understandable. Mathematics is a language just like any other and the more you learn of it, the more you understand that equations are just sentences that say things in exactly the same way as English or for that matter any other language. There is nothing mystical about them and you cannot use them to decieve because they are totally unambiguous.

However people with an agenda can use such knowledge to spin their own tales of how the world works. As goes the saying 'there are lies, damn lies and statistics'. There is nothing inherently wrong with the statistics but when you pick and chose them to create a perception of reality then arises the deception. If one presents the full information it is impossible to lie or decieve.

                                    Salaam all.

I remember reading somewhere that science is a way for us to know God and to know about all of the amazing things that God has created and given to us. In this way I embrace science and I don't feel threatened at all by findings like Higgs boson. I just don't understand yet what it really means - and in fact it's not fully understood by the men and women who've been working for so many years to find it either. That doesn't make it bad or wrong.

Re. Stephen Hawkings - didn't he actually bet that the god particle would never be found? Correct me if I'm wrong about this. Btw I don't think the fact that its called the god particle should even enter into what we, as muslims, think about this finding. It's a name.

Also, regarding whether science is corrupted or not personally I have a good deal of faith in science - but I certainly don't put all my faith in it. It's a great way to know how things work (as mentioned, to know Gods work and Gods creations). Findings do change regularly, it's true. But that is part of why I put some trust in it. It is self-correcting in that way.

I do distrust supposedly scientific studies that are financially backed by corporations. A good example of this is with studies on certain medications - I think it's shocking that they are even able to get away with that

I also find it really frustrating when people with a scientific background forget that science does change at times - it's a process. It's almost as frustrating as people who believe in God and so refuse to accept scientific results.

Hawking did lose a bet of US$100, because Higgs boson may have been found. But given the betting people are scientists, I bet (pardon the pun) they will wait until further confirmation.

I remember reading somewhere that the scientists and science journalists deliberately dubbed Higgs boson "the God particle" for popularization purposes only. The original name is just not that attractive. Stephen Hawking himself gets some of his popularity when he said

"However, if we discover a complete theory, it should in time be understandable by everyone, not just by a few scientists. Then we shall all, philosophers, scientists and just ordinary people, be able to take part in the discussion of the question of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason -- for then we should know the mind of God. (p.193)

ini his book Brief History if Time. Apparently God's what laypeople expect from science--they want science to say something about God, even if science methodologically unable to touch the subject matter of God.

Thank you, then I rest my case regarding Stephen Hawking - this is not his work at all.

If you believe in God then isn't science all about God? Isn't all about understanding Gods world and Gods work? The fact that there are many people in the world who do not believe in God (and some of those, but not all, are scientists) should not be a major problem to us, surely. That reflects my life in fact - a certain portion believe in Allah, or God, and the rest have their faith in other things. I may not think this is correct but I can still take what scientists find and view it in the light of God while those who do not believe can view it in the light of mother nature or however they do see things.

The 'God particle' name I understand to be a media construct rather than from scientists themselves. It doesn't bother me, as I think I mentioned, and not only that I can see why journos might have come up with it even if I believe it to suggest something incorrect. I'd be very surprised if what you read was correct i.e. that scientists came up with that name deliberately. You didn't read that in a Muslim newspaper did you? P

Interestingly, the Higghs Boson is also known as the 19th Particle.

As for Mazhar's article, I agree with his comment, though I think he did not need to make it that long.

I wrote on the same very verse and its implication regrading the subatomic particles in my second Turkish book published in 1983 Kuran En B?y?k Mucizel (Quran the Greatest Miracle.)

                                          Peace,
