Al- Hijaz, Homeland of Abraham and the Israeli prophets

Peace Hafeez...
The problem with the organization you are referring to is that they took off from a sound and correct foundation the land of the prophets was not palestine, nor Egypt...
... but they reached a FALSE conclusion they placed the land of the prophets around Makkah.
What they have done is rather shameful, because it has tarnished their image as objective truth seekers. Many of the things they said concerning Arabia's history are in fact true... The problem is that they placed the events too far north (in the Hijaz). When you want to prove your theory, you have to be objective and scientific from start to finish. What they did was that they used sound archeological evidence to prove that the Misr of the Quran was not Egypt. But when approaching the issue of Makkah, they resorted to the same old system of hearsay and conjecture. They failed miserably to provide any evidence concerning the historicity of Makkah. Instead of letting the facts lead them to the truth, they twisted the truth to make it fit with their theory.
I will expose their tricks and deceptions very soon, Inshallah.
About Kamal Salibi? The problem with Salibi is that he relied too much on phonetic games to prove his Asir theory. Sometimes he went as far as switching letters around in the names of towns in Asir to make them fit the Biblical names by force. Salibi also took off from a sound springboard when he wrote his book "The bible Came from Arabia". However, like the organization you pointed to, he reached an inacurate conclusion when he placed the Biblical theater in the Khamees Msheit region of Saudi Arabia (the heart of the Asir region). I have enourmous resepct for Salibi nad his work, but I do not agree with his theory.
The problem was alwasy with the names, not the general geographical proofs.
For example, the Tajdeed org. claimed that the "Oaks of Mamre" mentioned in the Bible, where Abraham set up his tent, were actually located in the very same spot as the so-called "Namira Mosque", which is some 8km from Makkah. Hence, "Mamre" = "Namira". This is preposterous and completely false. First of all, from a liguistic point of view, rendering "Mamre" as "Namira" is far-fetched and unconvincing. Also, who told them that "Bethel" = "The House of Allah"?? They could not provide proof that Makkah was ever known by that name. You see the problem? They had certain pre-conceptions in their minds, and they wanted to prove their point...they wanted the reality of Arabia's terrain to fit with their creed, and that is where their mistake lay. Salibi perpetrated the same error, albeit to a lesser extent.
Despite all I have said, credit MUST be given where it is due. In fact, we included them in the list of references at the end of our E-book.
The TRUE theater of the Bibilcal events was neither in Hijaz, nor in Asir. It was around San'aa in Yemen. Starting from the second E-Book, I will put before you the names of places (towns, mountains, and valleys) in that region, side by side with the Biblical names, without twisting the letters around or resorting to phonetic games, and you will see for yourself how they match.

Peace.
My 2 cents
People are related to each other from Adam, and after the Flood & Noah.Prophets could not have lived in the same places and spoke the same language, because people differentiated, settled into different areas, and their language differentiated.

Peace Youssef
You are right when you wrote "Prophets could not have lived in the same places and spoke the same language, because people differentiated, settled into different areas, and their language differentiated."
But what matters for us is, the prophets mentioned in the Quran by name, (especially Prophet Abraham, Ismail and Muhammad) who are ultimately the pioneers and foundations of our faith after Allah and HIS Quran, did really land in the places as we know. If it is proved wrong, then the whole DEEN will collapse like a house of cards. If it is proved that Prophet Abraham and Prophet Ismail never landed in Mecca then the whole scenario of Hajj will change, the authenticity of Masjid Al Haram, the Qibla, the Bayt Al Haram, the Kaabaa will be at stake, there will be more questions than answers. After years of thorough research and meticulous observation of every word of the verses related to my research, I have come to the conclusion that no prophet has ever arrived in Mecca, including prophet Muhammad and to prove my conclusions I did not go to extreme lengths, but used only the verses of the Quran. Within the Quran, Allah has provided numerous clues and signs, as a guidance for those who have the desire to know the truth, the truth, which till today, remains unexposed. I will place my research on this forum shortly.
Thanks

Salam hafeez kazi,
I do not mind that

if they are proven to be fabrications... which they seem to be...
there is a major theory here in Free-Minds, about pilgrimage being in Jerusalem of Israel/Palestine, so making Makkah irrelevant...
there is a new one pushed by Pazuzu that in fact Israel / Palestine are irrelevant and similarly so is Makkah as well, with biblical events happening in fact around the area of Sannah and Asir...
You are pushing that Makkah is relevant, without any archeological, logical or even theological rationale...
in fact if you were a Ruler, you will remind me of the Roman Emperor Constantine who for the sake of keeping his Empire stable chose to introduce elements of paganism in the Injeel's message by ordaining the Council of Nicaea where the whole of the Injeel's Faith (book given to Issa) got perverted to accommodate some extra deities in its Canon (mainly the Trinity - such as Allat Mannat and Uzzat)...
What is disheartening is these kinds of action are well described in the Quran, with groups getting some pieces of information, and then putting labels and rituals around them that satisfy the group, which then make it the official religion...
I am afraid, your group is doing no better, as the sunnis, shias, christians, jews and others...
-
I am sure there are many of us, who embraced Islam after disappointment in other human-made "religions", who would be extremely interested in demystifying myths fabricated around Islam.
Thank you for your efforts. -
The people of Moses would not have helped build the pyramids as they were built before Moses, possibly before Abraham too. peace
GODsubmitter, sadly you will find this one not much different to the others, especially now there are those trying desperately to claim all of it happened in Arabia. )

Peace to all

If someone is putting facts from the Quran, the ................want archaeological evidence, needs the logic behind that statement and the same people accepted the fake foot prints of Abraham displayed near the Kaaba as a genuine sign of Allah without verifying it. The same people accepted the wearing of two piece garments during Hajj, without asking the logic behind it. The same people accepted the ritual stoning of the three STONE devils constructed in Mina, without logic and archaeological evidence. The same people accepted the story of Abraham , Ismail and Hajar, and Zam Zam without verifying from the Quran. They accepted everything what their ancestors, the likes of Bukahri and Co. gave them, without archaeological evidence, without any logic, but when they are presented the clear facts from the Quran they don't WANT TO accept it, WITHOUT ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVIDENCE AND THE LOGIC. THE TRUTH IS ALWAYS A BITTER TO SWALLOW.
THANKS

hafeez kazi salam,
the TRUTH is never bitter to accept for a Believer... the way you are reading the Quran is perverted by additions of the filters of hadith...
ultimately geographical positions are not important... but the attitude of Belief and Submission is...
It takes courage and faith in Allah to use Him as Sole Guide and Sole Explainer of the Quran and Scriptures...
you rely on your groups...
advice draw closer to Allah (without any preconceptions or conditions) - it will help you more than anything else...

Peace Nabster
I DO NOT NEED YOUR ADVICE.
