Why can't you write in English for people who do not read Arabic?
Is this not an English Forum?
Imagine if people started writing in Swahili or Russian or other languages??? ???

    You simply wrote
"The time is bound to come no doubt about it, but most people do not believe in"
    So?
Please cite the surah and verse number!
I think it refers to the Judgement Day.
    And?

    peace

If I was to write in English I would stil be writing Arabic words in English, so it may not matter to you. Besides I find it very difficult to write Arabic in English, as I have still not learned to write Arabic in Latin lettres.

The appointed point in time for the termination of our present universe. It will begin with a big bang. And disintegration process will start. All living will experience natural death. Thereafter, second bang will resurrect life. This is what is called the Last Day, the Day of Resurrection, the Day of Assembly, the Day of Requital, the Day of separation .

                Salaam farida,

Sorry if it does not help. Your question was simply "what is "

Anyways, you have quoted the aayat 59 from sura 40. As I said in my previous post, the usage of is based on its context. I will try to explain what I understand by 4059 inshaAllah.

                4058
4058 And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember.

                4059
4059 Indeed, the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - but most of the people do not believe.

I understand that the hour will come when those who are blind and the one seeing will be shown clearly that they are not equal. The one who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer will be exposed that they are not equal. Many people don't remember this, which is said in end part of 4058 and many people don't know about this, said in 4059. This is how I take it.

                  Farida,

                  Salaamun 'Alaiykum,

I personally do not believe this is talking about an "End of The World" ordeal, but rather it is referring to the time when The Quranic Revolution takes place. I think many, many, MANY people truly doubt such a thing will ever happen, but if we observe the world today and how people think and view things now compared to 50, 70, 90 or 100 years ago, we would see a steady progress in two things Our thinking process and knowledge of certain things in life.

We are approaching the time to where eventually The true message of The Quran would be discovered, ascertained, understood and IMPLEMENTED on a very wide scale.

I think with this post you are quite helpful not only to me but may be to yourself by bringing in 4058, you went on to explain how you interpret 40;58 but when it came to the surah 40;59 you just discussed first part and left the final part of the surah, may be you can reflect on that section now so you get the bigger picture insha allaah.

I made three threads so that we can study each term/concept individually but again you have put all three in one, which I do not think serves the purpose of opening a seperate thread for each term. Also if you would follow the colour pattern for each event that may also help us to see the above scenario insha allaah.

                      Salaam

                                what is

                                salaam

Before discussing the meanings let us decide. Is it a word or derived word. It has more than 3 letter so it can not be only basic triliteral word. It has to be a derived word. So what is this word's waazan? based upon this its root could be either Siin-Waw-Ayn, or Siin-Ya-Ayn.

Now please apply formula of the language "root meanings + meanings of waazan" = meaning of the word. So please use this formula to find out meaning.

That is interesting. It may educate me if you could share with me what you mean by message of the Quran, because to me the message/guidance is in the Quran.

                                      salaam

Because I am speaking about it's outlines, mandates and constitution which more and more people are discovering even without having any contact with the Mushaf that you are speaking of. The verse quoted (2/2) does not speak on THE MESSAGE.

                                        Salaam.
