Peace Man of Faith, there's nothing good or evil about any number.
Now back to the topic.
Was observing the full moon tonight and it became very clear.
It is not 12 each solar year and nowhere mentioned in Qur'an.936 surely count al-shwr/the lunar cycles near the god two ten (i.e. twelve) shra/lunar cycle of in book the god day creation the heavens and the earth from it four prohibited such the practice the value so not wrong yeh in them souls yours and fight yeh the idolaters all as what they fight you all and know yeh that the god with the righteous
105 he the one made the sun illuminate and the moon a light and calculated it (masculine i.e. moon) phases to know yeh number al-snyn/the seasons and the account not create the god such except in the truth expounds the signs for folk knowing
1712 and made we the night and the daylight two signs so erased we sign the night and made we sign the daylight visible that may seek yeh bounty from lord yours and know yeh number al-snyn/the seasons and the account and every thing explained we it detailed
The question if one awakes on remote island/desert scenario; it's simple...

Peace, yes perhaps in context of nice number as in paycheck. )
Hope everyone understood post above in that the lunar cycles to know time (e.g. lunar months, years) which vary at any day or lunar phase run separate i.e. 12 in lunar year don't have to correlate exactly to prohibited lunar cycles which they are always the first 4 after the summer solstice easily determined anywhere in the world even after waking from a deep sleep on a remote deserted island; no need to ask anyone when exactly is ramadan (lunar cycle of heat), hajj, prohibited cycles/period, etc.
936 surely count al-shwr/the lunar cycles near the god two ten (i.e. twelve) shra/lunar cycle of in book the god day creation the heavens and the earth from it four prohibited...

Peace brother Wakas,
However, I disagree with
See http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9605648.0This seems to confirm that the "biggest feast" is the fourth one
- An acquittal/release from The God and His messenger to those with whom you made a treaty from among the polytheists.
- Therefore, roam the earth for FOUR full-moons and know that you will not escape The God, and that The God will disgrace the ungrateful/rejecters.
So we are now at the fourth full-moon, where the biggest feast takes place
- And an announcement from The God and His messenger to the people on the greatest day of the feast "The God is quit/free from the polytheists and so is His messenger". If you repent, then it is better for you, and if you turn away, then know that you will not escape The God. And give news to those who conceal/reject of a painful retribution.
- Except for those with whom you had a treaty from among the polytheists if they did not reduce anything from it nor did they plan to attack you; you shall continue the treaty with them until its expiry. Truly, The God loves the forethoughtful/conscientious.
Remember that the waning crescent times the end of the period of the feast and the restriction (the 10 day period). So the following passage talks about the passing that includes the end of the restricted period, 10 days later after the day of the bigggest feast
- So when the inviolable full-moons are passed, then you may fight the polytheists wherever you find them, and take them, and surround them, and stand against them at every point. If they repent, and uphold/maintain the salat and bring forth the betterment, then clear/vacate their way/path. Truly, The God is Turning/Forgiving, Embracing/Merciful.
What do you make of 2217, see http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9188.msg333873#msg333873
2217 talks about the period spanning the four inviolable full-moons (fighting in them). While in 2185, the full-moon is talked about as a marker (fast it or according to it).
Peace,
Ayman

peace brother Ayman,
2217 talks about the period spanning the four inviolable full-moons (fighting in them). While in 2185, the full-moon is talked about as a marker (fast it or according to it).
I understand your explanation but in 2217 it is singular.
2217 asks about the inviolable shahr/full-moon is there fighting in it
-
peace brother Ayman,
I understand your explanation but in 2217 it is singular.
Peace Wakas, yes and how "in it" can refer to single full-moon?
2217 they asking you about al-shr/the lunar cycle (singular) the haraam/prohibited fight in it say fight in it immense...
-
Peace brother Wakas,
I understand your explanation but in 2217 it is singular.
Thanks for reminding me and correcting my mistake. You are correct it is singular. It is probably talking about the first inviolable full moon. If it is the first inviolable full moon, then "in it" would indicate in the period marked to begin according to it.
Peace,
Ayman

salam wakas and ayman
even in singular form of 2-217, it can be a generic expression for each shahr haramPeace
Salam Noshirk,
Correct in your understanding , al-shahr al-haram ( inviolable month ) in 2217 even in singular form it's pointing to the four inviolable months not only one month , this form and meaning is similar to the word al-malak singular of al-malaayikah (plural ) the singular form is used in 6917 and 8922 but it still mean al-malayika as a group , there is another similar form or way when the plural meaning is understood through the singular form in arabic you can see that in the word as al-maskyin the singular of al-masaakyin ( plural ) , the singular form is used in 1073 and 7444 and 6934 but it is evident that the talk in that verse is not talking about one singular ,particular maskyin (1 poor man ) but instead it mean the poor men's in general ( any poor man ) this form and meaning is similar to the form and meaning of al-shahr al-haram ( the inviolable month ) in 2217 , the meaning is all the inviolable months
Salam
