Without a doubt Wisdom comes from Allah. But through what means?

Did anyone get direct guidance from Allah? Did not guidance come through means of the Book (Quran) and through means of the Prophet (peace be upon him & his family)

O You who believe! Fear Allah and seek the means of approach unto Him (535)

So indeed, the Al-Hikmah (wisdom) comes from Allah, but through what means does it come? Allah says in the Pure Quran

It is He Who has sent amongst the unlettered an Apostle (Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to purify them, and to instruct them in the Book and the Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error (Surah 622)

In other words, guidance of the Quran and the Wisdom will come through the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Wisdom and understanding of the Book will not come through Mr. Rashad Khalifa, or Mr. Edep Yuskell, or Mr. Anonymous Online Poster, or Ms. modern miniskirt wearing Quranist woman.

No my friends. Understanding of the Quran comes from the Rasool (Sallallaahu alaihe wasallam) as Allah has emphasized again and again in the Holy Quran.

      Salam

So when Allah says "He gives wisdom to whom He wills", it means "Human/Objects gives wisdom"?

Allah doesn't really mean what He says in the Qur'an?

      Secondly, what is Wisdom?

      Peace brother.

and to instruct them in the Book and the Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error (Surah 622)

      I swear
      by the Quran
      full of wisdom
      (362)

      These are verses
      of the Book of Wisdom
      (312)

And surely it is in the original of the Book with Us
      truly elevated
      full of wisdom.
      (434)

      Alif Lam Ra
      These are the verses
      of the wise Book.
      (101)

      Please also refer to (362), (312), (101) and (434).

And he whom Allah sends astray
for him there is no protector beyond Him.
      (4244)

And there will not be for them
any allies to aid them <- including your kitab, ulema, Islamic Fatwa Council etc
      other than Allah
      And whoever Allah sends astray
for him there is no way
      (4246)

Therefore, since when human, books or objects can give wisdom?

Since when wisdom can be inherited through man made god books etc?

      What has happened to you?
      How do you judge?
Or have you a book wherein you read
That you have surely therein what you choose?
      (6836-3

Do you have an ayat to support your argument?

        Dear Israfeel,

        Peace be with you.

I agree with you that one can gain wisdom from the ahadeeth corpus. But restricting the gaining of wisdom only from the 'Prophetic sunnah' is not supported from a Quranic perspective. One may also be able gain wisdom from the previous scriptures (Torah and Injeel) as well, and I also believe that God can directly instil wisdom into someone's brain without any secondary means.

Someone who may not be institutionally trained can possess greater wisdom compared to someone who is a college professor/highly educated.

        Regards.

Wisdom 5hrough the Prophet may be difficult after his death, because he died, and dead cannot speak. So whagtever wisdom y can get through the Prophet, can only be determined by the believer according to the soundness of whatgever is transmitted be it attributed to the prophet or not, authentic or non authentic. Its authenticity and pertinence can only be ascertained through the good judgment of the believer, who has, as scribbler rightly states, more sources of wisdom than just whatever may have reached us pure from the Prophet.

What offers no doubt is that God has only put forth Himself to guarantee the contents of the Qur'an, nothing else. So only the wisdom contained in the Qur'an can serve as a check of the wisdom of anything else, and that is why Muhammad is khatam an-nabiyeen, because any other material must pass the test of conformity to the Qur'an revealed by God. The rest is open to contest.

          Salaam

Yes. You can actually get wisdoms from almost in anything such as the 6 Persian hadith collection, Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf etc.

?Do not compare yourself to others. If you do so, you are insulting yourself.?
            Adolf Hitler
?if you want to shine like sun first you have to burn like it.?
            Adolf Hitler
?Anyone can deal with victory. Only the mighty can bear defeat.?
            Adolf Hitler

Mein Kampf? book of hate, but also has some wisdoms, just like the 6 Persian hadith collections

            Regards,
            Yuliana

              Dear Salafi fundamentalist Israfeel,

Please stop SLANDERING the whole Quranist women as women who are wearing mini-skirts. Where did you get this nonsense? What about your Salafi brethren who married and forced sex on young girls and commit honor-killing? You don't have anything better to say about God-alone worshippers other than "mini-skirts".

There are many Sunnis who wear bikinis in countries like Turkey, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Indonesia etc.

Your Salafi brethren are much worse
8-year-old Yemeni girl died of internal bleeding on first night
Saudi preacher raped and killed his own daughter.
Saudi man killed his child by cutting the child's tongue and burned the child for converting to Christianity

Before spewing false allegations against people, look at you and your folks first.

Sunnah is the Wisdom to understand the Quran. Without Sunnah, a person has neither wisdom nor can he properly understand the Quran.

Israfeel or everyone in here please read this
