No one knows its interpretation EXCEPT Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge.

Those who are "firmly grounded in knowledge" are not Allah

and therefore it means "No one knows its interpretation"...

including those who are "firmly grounded in knowledge"

those who are "firmly grounded in knowledge" are related to what they "SAY"

the word "reminded" is related to believe but ignoring the mutasyaabihaat, ie. Allah's reminder

no one knows its interpretation except Allah . But those firm in knowledge SAY, "We believe in it. All is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.

      Salaam

Despite In Quran said if this Book is a guidance for humankind (22), to iqro/recite it (1714), and make it easy to understand (5417).

Make it easy to understand? capable to be recited by humans? despite God said He only who understand it (37) then human just create speculative intepretations in the name of God, confusing for where we must do hajj (for many centuries).

According to the understanding of orthodox Hadith-believing Sunni Muslims, this was a true historical event from the Battle of Badr.

Since we Sunni Muslims believe that an army of Angels led by their general Gibraeel (Alaihe salaam) literally participated in the Battle of Badr, therefore this verse was literally fulfilled because those mysterious burn marks were the injuries inflicted by the Angels.

        Peace Israfeel,

Wrong angel, the warrior angel is Mikhail not Jibraeel, Jibraeel is the angel of revelation/messenger.

        God bless

        peace

Prove it from the Quran, as is your slogan.

            Greetings and Peace, all group

I understand "fingertips" as "extremities"--this includes limbs, hands, feet, etc.

Further details are unimportant for the Deen; had ALLAH intended, such details would have been included.

Hadith-rejecters sounds like it could have been intended to be insulting. Was that actually the intent? If one knowingly insults others, regardless of what else they embrace, they are not embracing the Deen.

May ALLAH see fit to Guide all seekers.

            peace

            ~Abdul-Hadi

Some follow blindly but I believe many here are in fact not a hadith rejecters.. They only reject ridiculous hadith and focusing the authentication based on the textual content rather than solely based on the chain of narrators. It is reasonable, and it is ridiculous to reject all hadith simply because it is from Bukhary. Allah does not command us to oppose "justice" and Muhammad is not God. It is also ridiculous to accept hadith that directly contradicting the Quran, which in fact has been acknowledged through some project to redefine the criteria for the authentication of hadith, eg. the project for the re-authentication of hadith to include its textual context by the International Islamic University (refer here). It doesn't make them a hadith rejecters. Therefore, it is really a small issue but some sectarians just like to make it sound as big issues.

Bukhari was nothing more than a Hadith collector. He had a set criteria - and on that basis he included or rejected Hadith. Lot of nonsense you come to on this board are completely ignorant of what he and others like him were all about.

It is already the case - A hadith is rejected if it directly contradicts the Quran .

Quran-only is a sect. All sects say it others that are sect and not them. As soon as you break away from the main religion - you are a sect.

                    What is the prohibition?

But there are among (1) men those who patronize
                    (2) ridiculous hadiths ( &#1616
                    (3) without knowledge (thereby)
                    (4) misleading from the Path of Allah
and throwing a (5) butt of mockery
for such there will be a humiliating Penalty"
                    (316)

Allah does not prohibit all hadiths....

The prohibition of Allah is specifically related to

                    (1) ridiculous hadiths ( &#1616, ie. not all hadith
                    (2) hadiths that are misleading from the Path of Allah
                    (3) using hadith without true knowledge, ie. using hadith without confirm it with the Quran
                    (4) hadiths that make Islam a butt of mockery
                    (5) parties, only those who used hadith for religious purposes (ulema, scholars etc)... not everyone.

Only these kind of hadiths (+parties) are prohibited by Allah.. it must satisfy these requirements (conditions)

Therefore, who wish to prohibit what Allah does not prohibit?

You are like the boy who engages in a fight with someone, but when is getting beaten up, runs to a safe distance, then from there starts to hurl insults and threats!

But will not come back to the fight.

Your dishonesty is breath-taking. How do you satisfy your heart with falsehood? Surely deep down you know full well when rumbled?

                              For example

making blank denials to every answer

Give me one example where all I have done is blank denial? Prove it.

Folks, please.... if "the other party" is so wrong... then isn't it better to just leave it? Leave the discussion and resume when it is possible again to stay on the topic without pointing out all faults, mistakes and sins along with all the rotten parts of "the other party". If "the other party" cannot be convinced to the point of agreement on it's weaknesses... then why continue to point these things out in each other???

As far as "Quran only" goes they do claim "Quran only". But then you find them wandering away from it.

                                          Peace Zulf,all.

Some arguments are futile, especially when they become a tennis match of throwing faults/insults at each other. Why?

Because it is all irrelevant, Remember FREEDOM OF CHOICE guys.

We are absolutely free to believe or disbelieve in God. It is God's will that we will do freely, seeQoran 1829, 2557, 7319, 7437, 7629 God told us in the Qoran that He knows the future and He knows what everyone of us will do, what they will believe, how they behave and what they commit in this life, because He is God who knows the past, present and future.
God fully knows what kind of decision each one of us is destined to make; He knows which of us are going to Heaven and which are going to Hell. Even before we were born into this world, God knew which souls are good and which souls are evil.

However, we are fully free to choose, either God or someone else. Because of this freedom we are responsible for our decision on the day of Judgment. We cannot blame our parents, friends, scholars,or GOD even though He knows the outcome or anyone. We can only blame ourselves.

So argue by what it is best.None of us can change/guide the other. Only GOD can do that.

Because of this kind of freedom God never forces His religion on any body,

Had your Lord willed, all the people on earth would have believed. Do you want to force the people to become believers?
If God was to force people to believe or disbelieve he would not have asked them about their choices and He would never have punished some and rewarded others. God is Most Merciful.

The only benefit here is to learn from each other, take what is best and respect each other as per Qoran.

Discus the topics not each other.
                                          Sorry for this off topic.

                                          God bless.

                                          Peace.
