So yes, Prophet Muhammad's (alayhissalam) character is praised by Quran. We know how he was. There is no question about his character. Doubting the Prophet's character is doubting the Quran.

You need some education. Go out and see life, roll modeling is beign inspired by someone who has done something good to be remembered, like for example taking Neils Bohr for basing the Qunatum Mechanics theory.. If you haven't expereinced inspiration, then go to a psychotherapist.

If you take Prophet as your role model, then do you really follow his attitudes?
I suppose the Prophet was a man who act kindly, loving, humble, caring in tenderness toward the other believers.
You could have ignoted my comment and went directly to the topic if u wanted to, but your double standardism is as low as your commment, sorry for being harsh, I'm honest, and I'm direct.
Honesty is important, however I think being honest can be done by using better words to speak.
I really hope that all brothers in this forum can at least apply patience and kindness toward their sisters by not saying hurtful words.

Role model is not "idolized" people.
Idolozing people is like this

.....etc...A role model is someone that we are inspired by. I don't think people who are inspired by Albert Einstein chant "ya Einstein, ya Einstein, ya Einstein" etc.

Loool my friend, believe me I'm not, I just don't want my brothers/sisters to be bigots and have no tolerance to other opinions, I don't want them to have hate toward anybody. Rather have it if you want toward an ideology, not toward the persons themselves...
Since I'm a Quran alone Muslim now, I pray with Sunnis full of love... how is that for you ? Yet, I tell them I disagree with what you believe in, I believe that God should be the center of our focus, I tell them always that we have ignored God's book and went after people and humans opinions instead, ...etc. but In ever hated them for a moment, I was once one of them until God guided me to be who I am today, And I'm sure they are not ready yet, the pressure on them is too much.. otherwise they might become even better Believers than both of us...
I was merely stating a fact. To take someone as a role model means you idolize them. You want to be them. That's what taking someone as a role model means.
Sorry to say, but I never liked people who speak with "facts" when for sure some things can not be known if they are facts or not, I would have been more benign if you would have said "this is my opinion", for whatever you said its your opinion to me... that is how I take it until convincing evidence comes a long.

I know Arabic, because I have studied it since I was a kid, and I live among Arabs, am not an Arab however, and for sure I will take your advice "Need to read the Quran more", and when it comes to respect people... If I respect a Sectarian who believes one should be killed for belief change, then for sure I respect a Quran alone Muslim.

Serisouly, I don't care if people get mad or not.. nor will I get mad if other support their madness.
I truly believe inside my self that Muhammad was a good man otherwise he will not be a prophet, and of course not everything we know about him is a lie, so I decided to take from his life what is good and what is Quranic, just like I do it from everyone else.

But I think I already tired to remind those brothers so they realize that we need to respect each other. They seem not listen... *sigh (
What I think is like "Okay brothers, giveup you guys, do what you want with each other, but do not speak to sisters here in the same manner." >(
I think some of bothers here already behave well.
However, to be honest there are quite a lot of unnecessary quarrels here, those actually can be avoided if we can be patient toward one another.
I emphasize on brothers because they are men, and men usually choose to be in charge position or want to be leaders for women, so it supposed to be they show good examples in behaviors, and I don't see such things happen often in here.
Can we establish free-minds to be a more peaceful forum? I hope so.
