Are Non Quranists considered Kafir/Mushriks
-
Salam,
How the Quranists categorize the Non-Quranists, are they Kuffar/Mushrikoon?
-
We have no right to "declare" that they are kafir despite the fact that sunnis and shias are more into PreIslamic rules. Allah will take care of them and I think we are seeing it already. The only thing is that many of us are hurt by their atrocity. Their decision to kill humans to play God.
6159 As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least their affair is with Allah He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.
6140 Losers indeed are those who killed their children foolishly, due to their lack of knowledge, and prohibited what God has provided for them, and followed innovations attributed to God. They have gone astray; they are not guided.
6114 And of the camels, two and of the cattle, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Or were you witnesses when Allah charged you with this? Then who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah to mislead the people by other than knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."
I don't think any member here feels unusually superior to others just because he or she has rejected sects to become Muslim. We don't own the world. Its rightful owner is Allah, our creator. He is powerful enough to punish those who disobey his laws.

good reply. How do you consider Quranists, are they not a new sect?
-
Peace sword of tashyyu.
What is a sect?
You could define it as such that any "group" that agree form a sect? In other words every human belongs to a sect even if he/she is unaware? But is that right?
According to GOD s scripture, it does not matter which- Old /new-- There are only two groups
1- Believers__ And these could disagree on certain details/
2- Others( Non believers.pretend believers, do not care...) And of course these disagree on a lot of details...The choice is either GOD Alone or others?
Believers are told , even if disagreeing on some details, not to break up into "sects"!!!GOD bless you.

Brother Good Logic already gave an excellent answer.
The term Quranist is used by hadith followers to pinpoint others that our belief is different from theirs. I know its taken as derogatory by some. But I guess it to some extent helps them explain what we are. Yet I would say the term is rather misleading. Anything with "ist/ayst" represents people who specialize in some kind of field. Example Finance analyst, scientist, terrorist, feminist, etc. So Quranist sounds like someone who is an expert of Quran...who understand its messages clearly! I don't think we humans are fully capable of it. Ultimately, the title belongs to Allah because only he understands the Quran entirely.
We actually call ourselves "Muslim" because thats what Quran instructs us to do. I wouldn't mind people describing us as sectless Muslims.

WE LEAVE THEM TO THEIR FATE. brickwall
And if Allah had willed, He could have made you one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do. (An-Nahl 93)
But they will surely carry their burdens and burdens along with their burdens, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent. (Al-Ankaboot 13)
And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." (As-Saaffaat 24)

Those who are void of sound knowledge are "kafar". It is not depending on sectarian adherence.

Salaam,
God only knows. I just go against those who kill and oppress others because they seem clear where they stand, but we can't really differentiate between others. Most do not even know the difference between Qur'an and Hadiths. In the end, God can only judge.

No no, we can quite easily see.

I think its not about void of knowledge rather refusal to acknowledge the truth after truth has been manifested completely. A good example of Kufr in Quran is of Iblis.
234And We said to the angels "Yield to Adam," so they yielded except for Satan, he refused and became arrogant, and became of the rejecters.
In this case Iblis was not void of knowledge. He knew what was truth and still he refused to acknowledge it due to his pride.
Here is a good article on Kufr.

Nah, Satan has no wisdom, hence no ability to judge fairly. This is when you are kafar. You do not have that godly wisdom. Therefore the people who are kafar including Satan cannot judge the way God does. IS (Islamic Sh**heads) cannot judge in a way of "hakma" of God.
It has nothing to do with reject or disbelieve.

Knowledge and Wisdom are two different thing. A knowledgeable person might not act wisely due to his pride/prejudice even though he knows the truth.
I humbly disagree with your concept of Kufr.
Every person has the god given ability to chose between right or wrong and act wisely. So had Iblis but he chose to be unwise and reject .

Knowledge is also another part aside.
Satan is of poor judgement, could not really make any wise decision, and so do all the fools you see out there fighting for; God as they say, but they in fact have so damned lousy judgment just as Ebless and they are all Satans, and spreading evil without realizing it themselves. These people are deluded, and what are you when you are deluded? Yes, you lack sound judgment.
Ebless did not reject anything he already knew. The idea that kafar has anything to do with rejection or disbelief is too farfetched to be true.
However; the word kafar means that you are void of judgement by the foundation of God. You were right that evil from yourself causes this, and Bless let his ego cloud his judgment while wisest for him would have been to judge by the light.

Salaam,
Yes, we think we can see, but we can't be sure. I am not sure, so I think it is best to leave it to God.

Salam,

I don't subscribe to the title "Quranist," but the short answer is that there are monotheists and non-monotheists...and even those that are not currently monotheists can turn to monotheism ISA.
10109 And follow what is being inspired to you and be patient until GOD judges. And He is the best of judges.

Salam,
How the Quranists categorize the Non-Quranists, are they Kuffar/Mushrikoon?
I AM a NON-QURANIST.
And I really don't care whether somebody labeled me "Kuffar" / "Mushrikoon" or not. However I do labeled those who think that
"Their religion / belief / holy books are infallible and superior to others and labeled others who didn't share their opinion as "Kuffar" / "Mushrikoon" or others labeling"
as an "Imbecilic Proud" people or in other words, Proud to be an Imbecil.
The attitude above are commonly shown by any religious group, Quranist and Non-Quranist alike..

Peace Finding right path,
Just take the worst kind of people with bad behavior and deed and you have your definite kafar. You can know for sure.

Peace.
I would have thought " belief in GOD" , "belief in the last day( accountability)" and "good deeds" are all essentials?
Can we omit any of the three ?
Say one does " good deeds" but does not believe in the last day?
Then there are changes that happen to people as they progress towards old age...!
Surely we can only know for sure about the present? What is in front of us?
Hence we can never say never about anyone still alive?
GOD bless you all.
Peace. -
I thing that "belief" is one of the most elusive things in this life. We may not belief consciously and yet act as if we believed.
Let each person be each person and let God, who knows, whereas we do not know, do his counting and his acknowledging belief or disbelief.
Also I keep saying that God has taught us many of His names. Many people who would find no use for the word God, may be wholly motivated to the word "truth", Truth is a name of God, therefore he or she does believe in the Truth, that is, in God, by one of his names.
For me, most people are believers, more or less firm in their behaviour, but nonetheless believers. And I do thank God that I do not have to judge anybody, I would surely make myself guilty of injustice, so things are the way they are and they should be, we put up here with whatever we have to put up, grumble and curse sometimes, but let God judge, and let us pray that He is indeed compassionate and willing to favour His creatures.
Salaam
