    Phenomenon

something (such as an interesting fact or event) that can be observed and studied and that typically is unusual or difficult to understand or explain fully
someone or something that is very impressive or popular especially because of an unusual ability or quality

As for threats and strong dislike, the Quran does not even show half as much threats or hate as the sectarian propagandist versions like to put forth.

    Be well

Please read and ponder verse 4010 and 613, and perhaps you could share what you think about those verses

QA mqt (&#1578 denoting "hatred" is (clearly) not what the Author intended ...

      Sounds like a denial.
Then, according to you, what is intended in those verses by the Author?

If someone you know were to actually marry the ex-wife of his own father, would that arouse "HATE" in you !?

      Or, say ~ "disgust" e.g.?

      Does it smell like incest?

In psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud defined hate as

an ego state that wishes to destroy the source of its unhappiness.

The Penguin Dictionary of Psychology defines hate as

a deep, enduring, intense emotion expressing animosity, anger and hostility towards a person, group or object.

I don't understand why it seems there are people who think that "hate" is negative.
I personally think that there's nothing wrong with "hating the unrighteous things".

Here, you're confusing 'dislike' with 'hatred' .

Why should I believe in Sigmund Freud's definition??

And I don't want to rely on the Penguin Dictionary of Psychology to define things for me.

            And please remember...

If you have different understanding about the word "hate", then I think we better stop discussing this issue.

Hicham, I'm sorry, I think I'm not going to continue this discussion. I don't really see the usefulness to continue something like this.

If we have different opinion in this issue, then, I suppose that's not really a problem for me.

I think it's better if the believers using their time to remind others to remember Allah and to obey Allah, or doing good works, rather than having useless debate among their own.

If you believe in Allah and try your best to obey Him, I think that's enough for me.

And beside, I still have many works to do....

It seems that I don't have much time to go online in these days... ^___^"

            Salaam.

The G-D I acknowledge and serve ain't no "hater"!

Hicham, do you realize that it seems you have "hate" toward the hate itself?

You're exaggerating the word "hate", I think that if someone acted evil toward thing he hates, then it means, he is not only feeling hate but he acted unrighteous because of his hate.

My Lord is the Creator. I don't perfectly know about Allah, but I want to obedient to Him, my devotion is for Him, and I want to love Allah for what He is.

I'm not sure whether -for what He is- is grammatically correct.
In Indonesian language, what I mean is "Saya ingin mencintai Allah apa adanya."

Btw, I dislike having debate between believers. I dislike what we're doing now. Perhaps I need more patience to stop this.

Maybe you should stop having "hate" toward "hate".

I'm not judging Allah, who am I to judge Him.

But, the important thing that I want you (hicham9) to know is

If Allah has hatred towards certain things, then I still acknowledge Him as my Lord, inshaAllah.

Glory be to Allah, my very dear Lord. His love is the greatest love that I received in my life.

to you be your judgment/dyn, and to me mine (1096).

                      Javalatte,

Hate is a word with a strongly negative and slightly offensive nature, and often used in cursing. Hatred is always an unwanted trait for a person realized in GOD. It is usually better to use a milder word.

To not like wars or atrocities does any sane person. If GOD was emotional they would have come to an end. GOD still has to put up with the stupidity and delusion of man. GOD surely has patience.

                      Be well
