All of what you're getting on Flat Earth is from the Internet, well I was not bothered to look into this, until I saw pazuzu fall for it, and here is what I found
a counter theory to the flat earth that, though it says the earth is not a globe or planet, posits with a few experiments (by scientists, so at least some credibility here) that... brace for it...
the Earth is in fact ... concave ( as opposed to convex for a planet)
more, these concave Earthers, now believe that the flat earth is a CIA psyops to discredit their truth that the Earth is actually concave, like a kind of a bowl, or better we are all living on the inside of a hollow sphere on its internal crust surface...

If you do not wish to use Science and Enginering,
I suggest as I wrote before you retire to a cave,
here on Earth we follow evidence, Quran is for boundaries and worship, like misuse of tools we produce to hurt,
we have been given leave to understand and cultivate our environment.
So what will it be, Flat, Concave or Round Earth?, or at least have the humility to say that you do not know...

It's FLAT (meaning generally level surface). The reason some observers are marketing concavity is because they could not explain the seasonal pattern of the sun on a perfectly level surface. There is no concavity (or convexity) at all.
If you do not wish to use Science and Enginering,
We believe in the science and engineering that gave us skyscrapers, computer chips, fuel combustion engines, airbags, washing machines and radar jetliners.
We do NOT believe in the pseudo science that invented such concepts as "gravity", "relativity", "black holes", "macro evolution" or "moon landings".
You have to learn to discern between the two, and not put all things in "take it or leave it" packages.

Can you add 1+1 and do you get 3?
I have learnt a method to check if something is correct or not, it is called Science, it uses theoretical models that extrapolate what happens in the local world to bigger scenarios, the heliocentric theory satisfies me, if you bring me proof, mathematical proof that is incorrect, or if you set up an experiment such as travelling to that mythical wall of ice circling the Earth, then I will change my mind, for now, the model available satisfies me, and there is nothing in the Quran that contradicts it.
Now Concave or Flat, there are two alternative theories or conjectures floating around in the blogosphere of the Internet, which one do you believe in?
It is fair, as I told you that I believe in the egg shaped Earth, a Planet, revolving around the Sun, now tell me which model you believe in, and precisely, with data and experiments why.
For the Planet Earth, I refer you to any good Astronomy book.
Again my question, where in the Quran does it say that Man will produce air-planes that fly to travel, and cook food with microwaves using quantum chemistry findings or with gas extracted from the earth, or with electricity to heat up a plate.

why would it be any different with Flat Earthers who bring me information I find ridiculous, unscientific and un-Quranic,
that I must switch off my ability to question theories just because they/you say they/you are right, flashing at me some texts and lousy videos as proof?!!!
by the way, within the realm of pseudo-scientific claims, the theory of concavity is slightly more plausible than that of flat earth.
You posit a theory, and then fill the gaps to account for any discrepancies, like earth quakes, volcanoes, phases of the moon, tides of the oceans, islands being submerged in water, regularity of changes in constellations, etc.
You are no better than NASA in fact, forcing a theory without due demonstration, just because of that obsession with the Occult?!

Here's a simple experiment you can try
The fact that the earth is flat can be observed using a telescope with a series of lenses, of various magnifying power.
Stand on the beach, and watch a ship (at your eye level) slowly sailing away towards the horizon, until it disappears from your eyesight completely. Then, pick up the telescope and look into it. You will see the ship again. Keep on looking at it until it disappears a second time, and pay close attention to how it disappears. You will note that due to your perspective (the vanishing point), it will disappear by sinking straight down. This is how the human eye perceives objects at a great distance. But the truth is that the far away object is not below the horizon. It is still there.
Now, attach an even stronger lens and look through it. The ship will appear again. And again. And again. And again. Repeat the experiment 100 times, with 100x the magnifying power, and you will keep on seeing the ship, even though you are still at the same eye level, and no matter how far the ship is on the open sea.
If the earth was a ball, this experiment would fail, and you would not be able to see the ship once it has disappeared completely below the horizon, no matter how much you magnify, because it is now UNDER your eye level. To see it again (on a curved surface), you would have to climb to a higher elevation, to increase your field of vision. Furthermore, if the earth was curved, (8 inches of curvature for every mile), the mast of the ship would not sink straight, but would curve inwards as it disappears.
Now, go and try this, if you truly have the sense of scientific discovery, as you claim.

Watch the following video, from the 830 minute mark until the 1600 minute mark, and see how the weatherman react to a photograph taken of the Chicago city skyline from 60 miles away.
Because he cannot accept the fact that someone was able to capture the full extent of the skyline from that distance, the weatherman, speaking straight from his ass, discards the scene as being a "superior mirage".

Did you do that experiment with a telescope and a ship sailing, or you just read about it.
Now in scientific comms, we conduct experiments under strict conditions, so do you have witnesses with you to corroborate?
Was the experiment repeated and repeatable in several places, and under different conditions? and who would vouch for this?

I watched the whole video, it was mental torture, typical American brainwashing trash. One case, one anecdote, a lot of conjecture.
Earth is pressurised because of its atmosphere, same as the inside of an airplane,
with everything moving on it in layers at the same velocity, this is why we are experiencing stability,when you move around the earth, it is like you move inside a pressurised cabin in an airplane, only it is on a much bigger scale, this is not about accelerating or decelerating, the speed is constant and amortised, we were born in it and with it...
