I must say that I am not annoyed if somebody uses Allah instead of God or Dios, I do not make a big deal of it, if they like better Allah well and good, the world is not going to collaps but I find it obnoxious when people make you feel as if you were a leper when you do not say Allah. We do not have enough problems without that, we surely need to create few that keep us busy.

    Salaam

Any combination of sounds can be used if one knows what they are directing their worship to or invocation, and their worship and invocation should only be to the Ultimate, and even if they pray to lesser things, and their prayers are answered, it is only the Ultimate that answered them, not the lesser things they imagine answered them.

      Freedomstands,

There are very rare cases that (ha) forms part of the root.

And I have already dealed with it before.

If was the end of the word as part or the root, if talking about their (&#1605 allah, it would have been written linguistically, but obviously it is not. There are other cases where is actually part of the linguistic formula and it is written as such, i.e. twice in a row.

Allah does stem from Alef-Lam-Lam, and the either or . Refers to Be such as it or them. It is a collective word it could be said and those who fill the attributes of Being It they are like it (not are it, but like it). A more coherent translation would be "(such) who is" and can refer to an animate object as well as an inanimate one. Allah is the third-person version of what God said to Moses.

In English, God could do because the common connotations in dictionaries, but Master or Sustainer may be more accurate, and the word for God in Arabic is Rabb.

God's Spirit per se is referred to as the Holy Spirit and can descend on worthy people and causes a kind of "possession". When I have communicated with God I have used Spirit as address but Rabb as entity name but also Master and Sustainer. I was not rebuked. Since I knew about allah already, I didn't use it as address.

God does refer to himself/herself/itself as 'I' in first-person singular in communication, and God uses words such as "Do as I have commanded" or "I command you". Thus, using 'you' when speaking to God is appropriate.

Of course, God does not force people to stop Being blind sheep. It is a choice.

But if having a clear communication, it is unwise to disobey, particularly if you do differently than commanded.

God said to me, "you must find my Spirit inside you". "I am with you".

It is very rare that God communicates as such with people, so it is an honor. God does refer to people as worthy or unworthy. Those who are worthy seek qualities such as God's, and perform deeds and make decisions in such manner as God would have made, but they also recognize which words are from God.

God does put people to the test and the tests can be very deceptive, so it is clearly often a test of intelligence. Often they are a test how detached you can be from emotions affecting your decisions. A good 'I AM' should be very wise.

Signs that the Spirit is with you (in your favor) is that you may receive certain advantages such as mysterious "coincidences" that simply seem very odd for a coincidence. Recognizing them is rewarding.

Okay. I will end my message here. But I argue that none of God or Allah is directly correct in reference to the Holy Spirit, even though God is decent due to its lexical definitions. God is almighty and can simply do anything and no one, absolutely no one, can do anything against it.

      Be well

        Peace Niels Jacob,

Allah as used in al-quran is a common noun descriptive word used for the infinite creator. In my opinion/speculation (based on personal research) it cannot mean God in English and most likely means "the powerful"/"the strong"/"the mighty"/"the majestic"/"the revered". It is a common noun descriptive word that encompasses all those meanings and more.

Please see the following posts for more details

        http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9607530.msg372917#msg372917

        http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9607530.msg372838#msg372838

I agree with mmkhan about it being a descriptive word and not equal to the meaning of "God".

I personally prefer to use the Arabic word Allah instead of God.
That is because as per my understanding the word Allah has a huge meaning, a description.
And Allah is not a name.
So, I don't think it is equal to the meaning of God.

PS If someone here disagrees with the above I respect your opinion/speculation

May the infinite creator guide us all to the truth.

              Peace truthseeker 11

              Thanks for reply

I tried to follow your links.

I think that the essence is that allah might come from the Hebrew Elohim... (or there is more to it?)
Whom having the meaning of mighty power or so. Or I am who I am.

But I dont see that that should favor it from God. God also have a meaning as good or someone being made sacrifice to.

But do I get you right if you mean there is a difference in the meaning of Allah in Arabic and God in English. So Allah and God an?t he same?

I just think its strange that you can go back to a words origin and then say one is better than the other. When in my opinion they have the very same meaning?

Another question that come to my mind is Why not use Elohim then?

I can understand that Isa should be used instead of Jesus since Jesus never was his name.
But here we are not talking about a name.

              PS
Im glad for your reply cause it made me a little bit more enligheted about why people prefer Allah. But as you see I?m not really convinced.

              Thanks again and God bless.

                Freedomstands,

Well, the Holy Spirit showed itself to me. It was what I had always dreamed of.

God is okay as address for God, based on word definition.

Allah has a different implication and Rabb is the personal address for God in Arabic Quran.

Elohim is just the plural form of All-ah such as Alla-hem.

If you refer to singular you say Eloh in the ancient Aramaic language root as well.

It means 'such who is' (i.e. third person). Allohem means 'such who are' instead in plural third person.

Sorry I provided what you were not requesting. I see that the true account is worth being displayed as well.
