There's a lot I disagree with the author like the mistranslation and putting the entire blame on the Arabs. Islam isn't just an Arab religion. It's a mixture of a bunch of religions(Zoroastrianism, Judaism and Christianity). Bukhari & Co were Persians and not Arabs. The book though still has a lot of thought provoking points which is why I posted a link to it.
You're right. And for all the reasons you mentioned its downright racist. I've read through it and it contains lie upon lie from the first page mixed in with a few obvious facts. The whole argument he makes is fallacious and not productive at all.
What's the difference between reading this and white supremacist literature blaming the Jews for everything that's gone wrong? Posting this kind of content is not fitting for a site whose members are trying to find the truth.

I think that both of you raise some good points in your posts. Unfortunately, it seems that there is a lot of prejudice and many errors in Aidid Safar's book. That being said, Aidid Safar seems to reveal some misconceptions about islam. It appears that there are some truths in his book.
I think that it's important to be open-minded and be willing to read Aidid Safar's book, regardless of the baseless claims in it. I think that it is important to "separate the wheat from the chaff."

What separates a good document from a bad document is the number of errors in it, a good document is filled with truth and may have the odd little error here and there, a bad document is replete with errors and uses basic facts (which are known to all) to try and justify the rest of the lies contained therein.
There isn't enough time in the world for anyone to read every piece of nonsense created by whoever and after skimming through it and reading 7 of its pages fully and seeing glaring errors every time I stopped I came to the conclusion it is not worth my time.
A good document should have some kind of compelling summary or abstract, the first page is blatantly mistranslated (allowing me to know that the rest of the document is going to be full of mistranslations) and the introduction of this document is a joke.
