ISIS will most likely be pushed out of Iraq this year, as for Syria it is hard to determine when due to a civil war so all sides have been weakened and cannot defend against ISIS so easily like Iraq because they have to defend from other groups as well. However with the latest ceasefires, groups are able to reinforce to fight off ISIS and liberate cities which is what happened in Palmyra. ISIS is already losing presence in Southern-Syria and even in north eastern Syria as well. Still though even if ISIS gets destroyed, most of its terrorists will probaly go into hiding and start becoming terror cells and stage suicide bomb attacks.

Here is an example of ISIS terrorist cell members arrested in Iraq last year https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLwsKU4oU-w "Stepping up efforts to thwart terrorist attacks in Baghdad, Iraqi intelligence dismantled 4-member terror cell linked to ISIS. The cell was behind a series of assassinations suicide attacks and blasts in the Iraqi capital, as shown in this video released by Iraqi ministry of defense on Sunday, February 8, 2015."

Some of the weapons they were gonna use to kill Iraqis

I remember seeing these pictures of where members of the Iraqi SWAT (part of Iraqi forces) put up this vote

Hahaha God bless the Iraqi army, and I hope they capture that 'Al-Britani' Pakistani terrorist trash who is very racist towards Arabs so he can be executed in the same way. Many ISIS terrorists blow themselves up to avoid capture because they know exactly what will happen to them if they ever get captured. They also use women clothing to try and escape. In my opinion Iraq should ban Saudi and Qatari nationals from entering the country while blocking the borders near Saudi-Arabia. The majority Islamists in ISIS are probaly Saudi nationals which is not suprising since their country has the same ideology and they probaly sneak themselves through the Saudi border to join ISIS. Also a lot of 'private' funds are still flowing from the Gulf-countries to ISIS. If Iraq banned Saudi nationals and Saudi money from flowing to the country then ISIS will most definently receive less funds and less cannonfodder and there will never be any such ideologies anymore. It is because of Saudi-Arabia and Qatar that ISIS has been growing. The ban should be lifted when both Saudi-Arabia and Qatar compensates Iraq for the damage they have caused and when they really start to prevent such things from happening. Read this for example

    https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_State_of_Iraq_and_the_Levant#Donations_by_Saudi_Arabia_and_Gulf_states

"Website The Daily Beast in June 2014 accused Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar of having funded ISIL in the past. Iran and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki have also accused Saudi Arabia and Qatar of funding the group. Ahead of the pro-Iraq, anti-ISIL conference held in Paris on 15 September 2014, France's Foreign Minister acknowledged that a number of countries at the table (Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait were represented) had "very probably" financed ISIL's advances. According to The Atlantic, ISIL may have been a major part of Saudi Arabian Bandar bin Sultan's covert-ops strategy in Syria.

Unregistered charity organisations act as fronts to pass funds to ISIL, disguising funding as donations for "humanitarian charity"."

"According to The Economist, dissidents in the ISIL capital of Al-Raqqah report that "all 12 of the judges who now run its court system ... are Saudis". Saudi Wahhabi practices also followed by the group include the establishment of religious police to root out "vice" and enforce attendance at salat prayers, the widespread use of capital punishment, and the destruction or re-purposing of any non-Sunni religious buildings. Bernard Haykel has described al-Baghdadi's creed as "a kind of untamed Wahhabism"."

Prior to ISIS capturing the oil-fields and sacking the banks in Mosul, they were receiving a lot of so called 'private' funds from Saudi-Arabia and Qatar under the name of 'human right organisations'. If people still assume that the Saudi regime don't fund ISIS then think about their spending on Wahabbism which is the same ideology ISIS uses. This ideology contributes to ISIS as it brainwashes people and allows ISIS to receive more cannonfodder. When Saudi-Arabia pretends to oppose ISIS by regarding the organisation as a terrorist organisation it only does so to sugarcoat its own ideology but that won't change the fact that it is still no different than ISIS. After the Charlie Hebdo attack took place, Saudi-Arabia pretended to condemn the terrorists even though it never allows anyone to draw Muhammad on its own land and anyone who does will be executed. In reality the members of the regime are no different than the attackers of Charlie Hebdo.

If Iraq wants a good advice on how to prevent ISIS terrorist attacks in the future and how to resist ISIS stronger then start becoming more liberal. It's the only way to resist ISIS terrorism and prevent such groups in the future. Honestly banning FGM, Islamist ideologies and polygamy while improving LGBT-rights, secularization of the constitution, reducing corruption, establishing equality and becoming more liberal will be a complete middle-finger to Saudi-Arabia and its Islamism. Having a conservative society is only going to make your population more vulnerable to Islamist attacks and many will easily be indoctrinated. There is no doubt that is what Saudi-Arabia wants too. One stupid thing I have seen in Iraq is how divided politicians are in the parliament. There are Kurdish, Sunni and Shia politicians who hold power. It is the most stupidest thing I have ever seen. These people should be thrown out. The job should be given to those who have a good CV and not because of their 'sect' or ethnicity. Also the Kurdish forces in northern Iraq are only promoting black markets by selling their weapons (which they receive directly from the EU) that contributes to ISIS (keep in mind that it is black markets that ISIS is buying its weapons from) http//www.thelocal.de/20160122/kurds-selling-german-delivered-guns-on-black-market

    Check this out

    https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wahhabism

"Estimates of Saudi spending on religious causes abroad include "upward of $100 billion"; between $2 and 3 billion per year since 1975 (compared to the annual Soviet propaganda budget of $1 billion/year); and "at least $87 billion" from 1987-2007.

Its largesse funded an estimated "90% of the expenses of the entire faith", throughout the Muslim World, according to journalist Dawood al-Shirian. It extended to young and old, from children's madrasas to high-level scholarship. "Books, scholarships, fellowships, mosques" (for example, "more than 1,500 mosques were built from Saudi public funds over the last 50 years&quot were paid for. It rewarded journalists and academics, who followed it and built satellite campuses around Egypt for Al Azhar, the oldest and most influential Islamic university. Yahya Birt counts spending on "1,500 mosques, 210 Islamic centres and dozens of Muslim academies and schools".

This financial aid has done much to overwhelm less strict local interpretations of Islam, according to observers like Dawood al-Shirian and Lee Kuan Yew, and has caused the Saudi interpretation (sometimes called "petro-Islam") to be perceived as the correct interpretation?or the "gold standard" of Islam?in many Muslims' minds."

"Wahhabi mission, or Dawah Wahhabiyya, is to spread purified Islam through the world, both Muslim and non-Muslim. Tens of billions of dollars have been spent by the Saudi government and charities on mosques, schools, education materials, scholarships, throughout the world to promote Islam and the Wahhabi interpretation of it. Tens of thousands of volunteers and several billion dollars also went in support of the jihad against the atheist communist regime governing Muslim Afghanistan."

"The pumping and export of oil from Saudi Arabia started during World War II, and its earnings helped fund religious activities in the 1950s and 60. But it was the 1973 oil crisis and quadrupling in the price of oil that both increased the kingdom's wealth astronomically and enhanced its prestige by demonstrating its international power as a leader of OPEC. By 1980, Saudi Arabia was earning every three days the income from oil it had taken a year to earn before the embargo. Tens of billions of dollars of this money were spent on books, media, schools, scholarships for students (from primary to post-graduate), fellowships and subsidies to reward journalists, academics and Islamic scholars, the building of hundreds of Islamic centers and universities, and over one thousand schools and one thousand mosques. During this time, Wahhabism attained what Gilles Kepel called a "preeminent position of strength in the global expression of Islam.""

This day the Zionist-Saudi-Western alliance will be down.

        Indeed it will...
Oil will be replaced with more environment friendly and much lower cost energy..
Saud family no longer can support to "buy" support from their people.. they start to tax them to fill the family erghh i mean the state coffer..
It will create unrest and uprising, the people will demand more transparency and greater control..
Saud family will fled abroad (and enjoy a luxurious lifestyle abroad for at least 7 generation)
The kingdom break apart and tribes will fight each others for control and power..

While in (Western) Europe and USA
The economy and unemployment will grow worse and worse.. due to rising state debt, aging society and un-competitive economy..
        The EU break apart..
Fascism will rise due to unemployment and worsening living condition of the european natives which cannot compete with immigrant who are willing to work harder with less pay..
        Conflict will ensue..

        http//www.salon.com/2015/12/08/fascism_is_all_the_rage_in_europe_and_its_coming_to_america

        Last but not least
        Vote for Trump!!
        Let's make America break again..

Nice prophetic prediction, Jafar. That is likely how things will be.

I am predicting a global war, something like WW3. The Muslim threat and other factors will be the triggering factor.

The picture (map at the top) shows how much ISIS controlled a year ago in Iraq and how much it controls now (the map under) In the picture you can see that it has lost a lot as the Iraqi army have been doing a great job in pushing back the terrorists. Infact many weeks ago a Chechen ISIS leader/terrorist was killed by an airstrike. https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Omar_al-Shishani It's only a matter of time before Al-Baghdadi gets captured or killed as well.

Some years ago an ISIS sympthizer on this Forum told me that ISIS would capture entire Iraq which was the most stupidest thing I have ever heard. ISIS itself is literally falling apart already as proven by those maps. Here are some dead Saudi Daesh terrorists https//twitter.com/IraqiSecurity/status/717051428561354752 (+18, Warning Graphical Content)

I bet if the 'Islamic' State became a democracy tomorrow many stupid Western apologists would have started to support ISIS, claiming that it is the 'second democracy' in the Middle-East and should therefor have the right to exist despite its crimes and so they would continue to use democracy to sugarcoat the criminal state. What do Israel and the Islamic State have in common? They are both being flocked to by European nationals while both have been established as homeland for adherents of religion and both are criminal states and both are killing natives as well.

Yes, but it is not yet on a scale where it can be called an all-out war. The pressure is still being built up. It is like a silent breeze before the storm.

The shame is that ISIS is following Quran wholeheartedly in the traditional sectarian interpretation. If you listen to the hateful tone you may be influenced by it, especially if you use the accompanying hadith with it. Why would you have a different attitude when the god in it is aggressive and wishes to crucify and torture people eternally? If that is your idol then obviously you hold a similar attitude, disbelievers are dirty and cannot even be held with tongs.

Other people are hypocrites to the interpretation, not following it.

its not about isis , its the way of understanding everybody have, everbody need to educate themselves specially the muslim extremist organisation , they are taking help from some flasehood history hadith based events to show themselves true muslim, but you cant give lisence to kill/murder anybody in the name of religion, its totally against quran and islam, whoever is using these things they are accountable,

apart from muslims, how many wars happened between nations from time to time you cant even calculate them for a quick list go wikipedia check the known battles in the last 1000 years u cant even imagine how much ppeople killed , who throw atom bomb on heroshema and nagasaki, it was muslims , who was the responsible of first world war , its muslims, who invade the mongolian empire, british empire, america wars , all are muslims,

its very unjust to blame whole islam due to some freaks who are outthere in every nation every religion, people are just blaming islam , infact God is aware about all things , thats why islam still spreading and soon it will become the largest nation , intrestingly people are entering in islam so quickly , reports are showing in next ten twenty years islam will be the largest religion

                              https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_by_death_toll

check this out and let me know how much muslim involvement is in alll this,, hardly 2 percent ,

but blame is always on the teaching of quran, how many in these really read quran in their whole life, if they are not the beleivers of quran, who gave them lisence to kill people.

pointing out a finger towards somebody is easy, but people forget three fingers inndirectly pointing towards the person who raise a finger. hmm hmm

As long as the west wants maybe? Isn't it funny how they were able to remove Hitler and the likes, but it is soooo difficult to defeat ISIS?

As long as people believe all the Islamic dogmas that don't make even a shred of sense and leads to perpetual backwardness, terror, oppression and violence. The West wouldn't be able to do anything if Muslims didn't insist on maintaining their medieval and dogmatic mindset. And it's not only ISIS, it's the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Shabaab, Boko Haram, Al Nusra, Jaysh al Islam and hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of other groups and Islamic organizations throughout the world. And they really are not that different from each other....

                                Peace

I'm not saying the West is innocent (western imperialism is another topic), but the hands do not matter...

It's the Muslims themselves who have all those violent and totally idiotic beliefs and oppressive and terroristic mindset...

There is not a single "hand" in this whole world that could force me to do those things....

Because I have a brain and a conscience...

hands does matter my brother, like virus is created before antivirus,

these people are using these muslims and lot of non muslims , preparing weapons and bombs for them, suppply them, fund them, if they stop all this shit , isis and all other organisations will collapse, but they want it to happen , if not by isis they will find an alternate

The religious and racist state of Israel created exporting european population is lasting now almost 70 years. Why should ISIS created and sutained by the same makers last less than that?

                                          Salaam

Is israel really more racist or more "lawless" or more violent and oppressive than Saudi Arabia?

                                          I don't believe that....
