So in your dictionary The Creator means "the creator of the universe who deserves to be worshiped by humans"?
Or am I misunderstanding you?lol i think you misunderstood,,
according to them,, God is a diety that need no worship from creation.. or he is free of worshiping by anybody.. may b i also misunderstood becoz its very hard/complex interpretation which i already told u its fifth generation computerised translation..

Imran,
Well, if we discuss under the premise that it is the same interpretation of the original incorrect interpretation, then you are right in saying that it is the same as 1400 years ago. It had no other interpretation except what has arisen now by me but also other people who have shown wisdom in realizing the 1400 year old interpretation has errors, for example, dharaba does not mean to strike and some have realized there is something fishy about salat etc. The people who saw the small errors must just see there are much much greater errors. The error is so severe that one must reflect upon the whole knowledge on grammar and what words really mean.
Be well

Amenuelwell its mean arabic is also not what we have today... its changed from arabic ... it should be some other words , or quran and bible both have same status ... but bible did not challange , whereas quran challange that there should be no changing will occur,, if we go to your theory does it not mean all faith and system will take uturn and more than half of the people will left islam,

So in your dictionary The Creator means "the creator of the universe who deserves to be worshiped by humans"?
Or am I misunderstanding you?Yes you have totally misunderstood. I haven't made any dictionary of mine yet. I am trying to understand Quran based upon it's dictionary and grammar. There is NO deity in Quran whether be for worship or NOT worship.

Imran, there is no computerized translation yet. It is still a very tedious, time consuming and manual effort. Invention of computers however has aided such efforts tremendously.

brother you have to select one ,, otherwise how the creation will decide.. i m stilll confuse

mr anwar . trust me i read it about three times to understand the words , still i m unable to understand what is the message in that revised version.. whereas other transaltion are very easy to understand...
what my point of view is , if God wanted he can send down a book in very modern form , so that we guys cannt even understand or interpret one word.. his knnowledge is greator.. but God knows what is the level of human being to understand the message so logically God revealed the book in easy manner so that human being easily understand what God want us to understnad, God is not a player like in a tournament to give you message which need so mch complications..or want to check the level of intelligence of human being.. he is our creator he want not hardship for creation. God loves his creation...
well best of luck... with ur revised versions.

Dear Mazhar Noorani, either you didn't understand the question or you are playing na?ve.
Question was about syntax and very simple one liner. Please share a syntax rule of the language that affirms that a 'Prepositional phrase" can be used as subject of the sentence in said language. There is NONE. However, once pointed out. Like always traditionalist will invent one soon. Instead of realizing their mistakes.
Thanks anyway for your effort.

Elliptical sentence
Simple; Declarative of universal import beyond time and space. And later in the link
These two words constitute the first grammatical unit . It comprises of a Prepositional Phrase + Possessive Phrase. The learned grammarians lay the principle that a Prepositional Phrase in Arabic is neither the Subject nor the predicate of a sentence. It relates to either. Therefore, a verb-verbal noun is understood and conveniently estimated before this phrase. We need a citation for a statement. A written word or a statement is firstly spoken by someone; thereby it is reiterated in time and space. We know the Person who orally and in writing communicated the Parlance?the Discourse?verbal Message of Allah the Exalted that we are reading and trying to translate and comprehend in target language English. Therefore, the elided Verb before the statement of universal import that can most appropriately be estimated is "Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam, the elevated Messenger of Allah the Exalted Pronounced that------". The structure of sentence is simple and is of declarative type. -

If there is no deity in the quran for worship then why do you insist in translating it in such way?
It's like you translate "woman" with "female human being who does not deserves to get discriminated by men".
It's nothing more then extra information which has nothing to do with the definition of the word. -
revised translations of some common words..
SONG= sound created by piano, drum beats, with human voice who have abilty to make his voice in such a way the audience will get amazed.
BOOK= a collection of multiple pages from table of contents to preface up to the topics that are written by qualified person for audience to get lessons.
SCHOOL= a place where we get education along with other age group kids from teachers who make us understand what is the meaning of life and how we will educate ourselves through books..
and many more ....

Until one will not understand the real meanings of word Allah. I am sure there is no way to understand the real meanings of Quran. So please go back and carefully look this up. If want to understand, you should be able to.

Dear, you keep changing your steps like dancing on a floor. Elliptical is defined in preface, and also when a word can be elided in a sentence.
Allah is Proper Noun. Learn how proper nouns are used in texts and how are they identified. Rest is just non sense that you can speak volumes but that will remain rubbish.

Dear, isn't it better to be on the dance floor than to be stuck in the middle of a puddle of dirty mud?

With all due respect, Mazhar. Allah is NOT a proper noun. A proper noun you do not place AL before. Look at any name of prophets in Quran and you will never see an AL attached to the word. If you use AL on a proper noun (for some reason) you write them apart, e.g. . This is because AL creates an adjectival word. means Like Ferauoon in one occasion when it is used in chapter 2.
AL can never be a proper noun and many occasions in the Quran where it is allegedly called a name it is not, that is the rules of the grammar.
Be well

brother ammanuel,

With all due respect, Mazhar. Allah is NOT a proper noun. A proper noun you do not place AL before.
Please study the types of Definite article. For some relative pronouns and proper names it is inseparable intrinsic part of word.
Also see how a proper noun is identified in texts. You will find it ONLY as proper noun wherever it occurs in Grand Qur'aan.

I am unable to find any reference whatsoever in an authentic grammar reference that confirms that an elliptical sentence was a known concept at the time of writing of grammar rules. If you have one, kindly share.
-
Kindly also share reference that confirms that a prepositional phrase can be part of a possessive phrase as . Which is what your explanation is implying for "Bismi".
