    Salam brothers and sisters

I am not sure whether this has been discuss yet

The Qur'n describes itself, in many verses (e.g. Q. 16103, 122, and 427) as being in pure Arabic.

However, it is an indisputable fact that the Qur'n uses 'foreign vocabulary', that is to say, vocabulary that was adopted into the Arabic language of the Qur'n as loanwords derived from Persian, Nabatean, Greek and many others. So how do you critically assess these phenomena of the Qur'n in view of the claim that the Qur'n is in Arabic?

These contradicts the verses stipulated in the Quran, isn?t? It is also a fact that since the Quran says that it is written in the clear Arabic language, that means to say it really was in clear Arabic. No loanwords! The only clear Arabic will be the Ancient South Arabian language. A language that was spoken widely in present Yemen and Oman!

Please take a look at the cover of a new book that was issued at the beginning of this year

    http//i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb386/Gorefiendel/BOOK_zps7e338ade.jpg

The book is called ?Yemeni Dialect in the Noble Quran?

Here is a link to a Jazeera News webpage, containing a report of this book, and the stunning evidences that its author was able to uncover regarding the language of the Quran.

    http//www.aljazeera.net/news/pages/6d232cb4-61f1-465c-9aa8-b6b5b1872f21

Unfortunately the link is in Arabic, and I don?t have time to translate the entire report. However, to summarize the main points

    1. The author isolated over 900 linguistic roots in the Quran, which matched, to the letter, archaeological inscriptions unearthed in Yemen. These roots, as well as their derivatives, appear in the Quran about 23,000 times.

    2. The author uncovers the relation between the ancient Yemeni dialects (notably of Sheba, Himyar and Hadhramawt), and proves they are nothing but offshoot dialects of Arabic.

    3. The allegation that they have been shoving down our throats for centuries, which claims that the Quran was revealed in the so-called ?Tongue of Quraysh? is a complete fallacy, and a blatant lie. (Unfortunately, it would seem the author is of the pre-disposition that ?Quraysh? was the name of a North Arabian tribe).

I am now trying to get my hands on this book, by whatever means, and through whatever channels. It is still not yet widespread, and obtaining a copy will not be easy. However, I have a strong feeling that this book will bear the explanation of why so-many South Arabian slang terms are found in the Quran, and why the commentators are silent on this issue.

It will mark the beginning of the end of Islamic History as we know it.

Q6304 - And when you see them, you wonder their personality and if they speak, you listen to their speech. Indeed, as they were MUSNAD wood

So if the Quran contains so many Ancient South Arabian slang, it will be correct to say that it was also originally written purely in the Ancient South Arabian script. But this is not the case, because, there are foreign loan words and written in a new script that they called "Arabic"

    peace

Proper Nouns are not translated in other language. It is spelled in the target language so that the sound produced upon pouncing it sound like the sound in original language.

Grand Qur'aan is inscribed in pure Arabic. No load words.

I hope it is understood that a dependent - subordinate clause does not stand at its own. It must be read in the paragraph where it conjuncts.

And I hop it is also understood how to differentiate between an independent clause and a subordinate clause.

If this is known, the observation in quote will evidently seem conjectural gossip.

Quran 1636?..SO TRAVEL IN THE EARTH AND SEE HOW WAS THE END OF THE DENIERS.

So travel the earth and carry out research, investigation and find out what is the truth and what is false.

Now, base on Q4144, according to Arrazi, 3jam means Persian. He was right to a certain extent. Actually 3jam means the presence of writing elements known as the ?huzvresh?. The ?huzvresh? were words that were so called "Nabatean Aramaic" in origin and were written in the Middle Persian, Soghdian, Khawarizmian. In another words, these languages were the so called "Nabatean Aramaic" written in different scripts and all with 22 alphabets ? Aleph, Beth, Gamal, Dalath - Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta?so on and so forth ? Abgd and written from right to left].

The Persian Empire was forced to employ the contemporaneous languages of the ancient Near East for the record of the empire. For effective diplomatic communication among the provinces of the empire, the so called Nabatean ?Aramaic?, as a Lingua Franca, was chosen. It was a natural choice and a practical one Nabatean ?Aramaic? was already widely spoken in the Levant, Turkey , Egypt, and Western Iran. Anyone, irrespective of whether they were in the Levant, Turkey , Egypt or Persia would be able to comprehend Nabatean ?Aramaic?. So when the Quran talk about 3jam, it means those aforesaid languages, that was widely spoken in the Sasanian Empire in the 3rd Century CE.

As for Arabic, the Quran is actually referring to the Ancient South Arabian that was widely spoken in South Arabia. The difference between the Quranic Arabic and ASA, is that the Quranic Arabic sounds more ?Nabatean Aramaic?. In fact, Quran Arabic is a combination of both so called Nabatean Aramaic and South Arabian Musnad, plausible created in the late 4th / early 5th Century CE. It adopted the same number of alphabet like ASA, 28 alphabets.

If the Quran was sent down in the 7th Century CE, then it is of no use that the Quran mentioned the word 3jam. This is because, the whole of Arabia ? right up to southern Turkey, Persia , Northern Africa, Spain, already adopted Arabic as the spoken and written language since the late 4th / early 5th Century CE. All those other languages with Huzwaresh and the so called Aramaic had already died out and no more in existence. So what is the point of mentioning them in the Quran? The reason is, because, those languages were still a spoken and written language during the Ministry of the Last Prophet in the 3rd Century CE!

Please see the highlighted paragraph. The word for foreign in Arabic is and not

If you think 6304 is just a conjectural gossip, i am sorry but you are wrong. Study the verse carefully, the Messenger was listening to the speech of the audience of the Quran, their speech were described linguistically - that is..

Q6304 - And when you see them, you wonder their personality and IF THEY SPEAK, YOU LISTEN TO THEIR SPEECH. INDEED, AS THEY WERE MUSNAD wood....

continuation from there on where they complaint, their arrogance...

They think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them.....

            peace

That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose?

The Book that i learn is this Quran

It tells me that the Prophet was not an Arab -

It tells me that there are several of the second one sent to Mankind -

It tells me that it is in clear Arabic language -

It tells me that messengers were sent in the language of his people -

It tells me that it exist in a time where not only Arabic is the spoken language -

464 Say "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book BEFORE this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!

The Quran reveal the truth and that is, it was written in clear Arabic. Clear Arabic means Ancient South Arabian with 28 alphabets / consonants. Not Classical Arabic or whatever!

means the Quran was written in a language that contains Huzwaresh, meaning, Nabatean Aramaic influence. This was during the era of the Persian Empire, when language with Huzwaresh were the spoken and written language through out the Empire.

Feel free to agree or disagree.

                    Root

Words from this Root in the Grand Qur'aan

                    a) Total occurrences 11

                    b) No of constructions 8

                    Ibn Faris stated
                    . .

The basic perception infolded in the Root is that of luminosity and glimmer of a thing. It has an effect of sudden shine flashing and flowing out from a point and quickly vanishing, and immediately following it is the effect of dazzling.

                    http//haqeeqat.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.%20Tabweeb/00080.%20Barq%20Ba%20Ra%20Qaaf%20lightening/5.gif Fallacy about its origin

This is one of few words of Grand Qur'aan, which some consider as a borrowed word from Persian. This word refers to an article of use, a utensil, for the storage and pouring of liquor to some smaller utensil for sipping/drinking the liquid. Therefore, the presumption that it is a word borrowed by Arabs?their language is perhaps the richest in concepts and has limitless vocabulary?is evidently ridiculous.

It is a broken plural, singular , formed on the pattern of . The Root is " ". The basic perception infolded in it is that of lightening. However, the word exclusively points to an object known as flagons. Is it not strange that the Arabic language makes use of a Root, which apparently has no relationship with a peculiar shaped container for storage, and service of liquid?

The Flagon is apparently a utensil, vessel. However, it has an assigned job/function and is required to establish a link and relationship with another object, the empty glass of drink, for the transfer of its content. The one who in standing position serves the drink to the glass in hand of a sitting person from the flagon slightly raises its bottom. He sprouts a small quantity that produces a little glimmer, which flows downwards and touches the bottom of the glass creating a path. It establishes a conductive path between the ground/glass bottom and the main reservoir of flagon. On mapping out this conductive path, the sudden massive flow of drink follows filling the glass. All this activity from beginning to main strike occurs just in a second.

The lightening, which is the basic perception, infolded in Root " " works in the same manner. Once the ionization process is complete and plasma forms, the ionized air streaming from the cloud establishes a path to the ground. This path is termed as the "step leader". The "step leader" that reaches the earth first provides a conductive path between the cloud and the Earth. This leader is not the lightning strike; it only maps out the course that the strike will follow. The strike is the sudden, massive, flow of electrical current moving from the cloud to the ground.

                    Flagons

"Al-Istabrek "is a Persian word means "the thick" as in Surat AdDukhan

Depiction of the life of Paradise, in the Grand Qur'aan, is in such words and description that we can perceive it as if we are watching a video recording. Few scenes are of social gatherings and parties amongst family friends along with wives and youngster sons and grandsons. On such occasions, people tend to wear costly and beautiful dress.

http//haqeeqat.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.%20Tabweeb/00080.%20Barq%20Ba%20Ra%20Qaaf%20lightening/8.gif This is one of few words of Grand Qur'aan which is considered by some as a borrowed word from Persian. This word refers to a peculiar cloth "Brocade" which was neither conceived nor produced by Persia. Its idea was conceived and cloth was manufactured by the Chinese who exported and introduced it to Arabia. Therefore the presumption of its being a borrowed word from Persia seems ridiculous, on face value. However, such baseless thoughts are not something new.
                        ......

The Arabic noun names and leads towards a fabric, which is obviously a physical object and NOT an abstract thought or concept. It refers to fabric, which finds named in English as "Brocade". It denotes, "a heavy fabric with a raised design and as a transitive verb denotes weave a fabric with raised design". . The online Wikipedia says; "The name, related to the same root as the word "broccoli", comes from Italian broccato meaning "embossed cloth," originally past participle of the verb broccare "to stud, set with nails," from brocco, "small nail," from Latin broccus, "projecting, pointed."

The best course to arrive at the true origin of the word is to trace back the origin of the object it refers. It takes us 1500 years back in time to Jiankang, present-day Nanjing City of China. There we are introduced "Nanjing Yunjin" the incredibly beautiful brocade made in Nanjing, capital city of eastern Jiangsu Province. Yun in Chinese means "clouds", and jin means "brocade".

The Arabic word conveys a perception in relation to the fabric as that which has acquired for itself the trait and resemblance of natural lightening. The wearing of dress made of such fabric finds mention in the social gatherings/celebrative parties held amongst friends in the Paradise. In times of revelation of Grand Qur'aan this fabric dress was indication of status, associated with luxury and opulence, and garments kept especially for ceremonial events.

The Arabic word conveys a perception in relation to the fabric as that which has acquired for itself the trait and resemblance of i.e. natural lightening. The wearing of dress made of such fabric finds mention in the social gatherings/celebrative parties held amongst friends in the Paradise. In times of revelation of Grand Qur'aan this fabric dress was indication of status, associated with luxury and opulence, and garments kept especially for ceremonial events.

Now keeping in mind the Arabic Root and the word with its connotations let us see what the "Yunjin-Cloud Brocade" is. It was used exclusively by the imperial houses or as gifts bestowed by the emperors on princes or senior officials in ancient China. Yun Brocade of Nanjing is praised as "One of Unique Chinese Techniques", and "Treasure of the World".

It is obvious that because of high-quality silk and an object of use by imperial houses and princesses, it was light and soft. A 1.28-meter-long silk coat with a pair of long sleeves is one of the relics discovered in the Mawangdui Han Tomb. It is as light as the mist and as fine as gossamer, weighing a mere 49 grams.

An inch of Cloud brocade was said to be as valuable as an ounce of gold by the ancient Chinese. What is interesting is that the delicate and soft brocade came out from wooden looms as big as 5.6-meters long, 4-meters high and 1.4-meters wide. The weaving technology of the brocade is exceedingly complex and exquisite, and no modern machine has yet been able to replace the ancient looms. The huge looms needed two operators, one above and one below in the delicate production sequence that was as complicated as a current computer programming language. The person sitting at the loom was known as a "thread puller". The person sitting on the lower part of the loom was called a "weaver".

A woven fabric self-patterned. It is a silk weave and the pattern has a reversible positive/negative image. It relies on the play of light to give dimension to the pattern, which is subtle and rich at the same time. One side of the cloth always has darker face over the other. The pattern is created when light falls on the fabric. The light reflects off areas of visible arranged fabric warp threads, which look shiny against visible weft threads that look dull within the weave. This fabric satisfies the requirement that imperial articles should be graceful, resplendent and magnificent.

Another acquired feature of "Brocade" is its being resplendent which it exactly shares with i.e. natural lightening. The effect of lightening is dazzling, immediately after flash there is a dark shade for the sight. Brocade has this peculiar feature, created with great skill by some brainy Chinese producing exactly what is the effect of lightening.

The Arabic word mirroring this cloth seems to have made a correction to the "Yunjin"-Cloud Brocade, since its features and peculiarity is not relevant to all the clouds. Not all clouds produce Lightening. Cumulonimbus or thundercloud, in Arabic, they produce lightening .

Can there be a word better than in any other language that could portray the idea and conception that was in the mind of that Chinese who conceived and produced this fabric?

                          Salam brother Hisbullah
We all learned growing up that The Book is Quran from our forefathers. That's what is thought in all the schools of the world. Whether it be Islamic school or non Islamic that Jewish got Torah Christians got bible and Muslims got the Quran.

Hence The books says that the Bani Israel who were and are muslims got Taurat/law Injeel/good news Quran/reading Furqan/criterion Mizaan/scale and so on

                          Q1094 in part
Those Reading The Book before you

All the prophets were given The Book, but what's in core of the Book Allah reveals to whome he wills.
what I have learned from this book of Allah through his messengers is that in all times people memorized this Book without understanding.

what about the rest of the words?

Btw, bro, what is your view on 6304?

When we listen a statement void of substance, we say these are empty words. Words are like containers that have content - stuff within them. Thereby, when assembly of words does not have any substance, that is called empty statement.

The discourse is about the Muna'fi'qoon Imposter believers?the Narcissist in the society of believers of exalted last Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam.

I think we can never find a better portrayal of emptiness of their assertion as is done this exemplification.

And when, on their visiting you saw them, their apparent worldly position/wealth-movable and immovable assets and status seemed to you exotic/astounding,

And if they speak, you should carefully listen for their statement -

To find that it is loose and week/they are like cankered, empty from within wood pieces made to stand with support of some structure.

They apprehend/think that every sound blast will effect them.

They are the enemy, therefore, you remain cautious of them

Allah the Exalted has condemned them. How are they deluded by conjectural falsification

The Quran reveal the truth and that is, it was written in clear Arabic. Clear Arabic means Ancient South Arabian with 28 alphabets / consonants.

This is also erroneous. Arabic alphabet has 29 not 28.

126 And as such, your Lord has chosen you, and He teaches you the interpretation of the narrations, and He completes His blessings upon you and upon the descendants of Jacob, as He completed it for your fathers before that, Abraham and Isaac. Your Lord is Knowledgeable, Wise.

                                2nd reference

16103 And We are aware that they say "A human being is teaching him." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, while this is a clear Arabic tongue.

                                3rd reference

2927 We granted him Isaac and Jacob, we assigned to his descendants prophethood and the scriptures, we endowed him with his due recompense in this life, and in the Hereafter he will surely be with the righteous

in reference one and third its clear its reffered to prophets before quran... and there is not any hint of prophet was not an arab?

in second reference i have to seperate things in colors for better understanding what this verse is actually telling us...

RED they claim somebody is teaching prophet
GREEN the one who s teaching prophet / copied information from a source that have non arabic tounge probably gospel /torah etc
BLUE now its crystal clear that their claims are based on wishful thinking becoz the proof is this this scripture is in pure arabic and prophet language was arabic... hence this third reference is something like a nail in the wall... !

I think we can never find a better portrayal of emptiness of their assertion as is done this exemplification.

Yes, it is about the Muna'fi'qoon Imposter believers. So in order to comprehend better the verse, we need to comprehend the intricacies of the Quranic system. In another words we need to cross reference other Quranic Chapters and verses so the whole picture will be shown to us.

In the above case we will have to cross reference with 0980 to 102. Now in verse 101 of Chapter 9

And among those around you of the Arabs are hypocrites, and from the people of the city. They have become accustomed to hypocrisy. You, do not know them, We know them. We will punish them twice; then they will be returned to a great punishment.

the verse above must be read in conjunction with 6304

Q6304 - And when you see them, you wonder their personality and IF THEY SPEAK, YOU LISTEN TO THEIR SPEECH. INDEED, AS THEY WERE MUSNAD wood....

the Messenger were not aware of these people and listen to what they were shouting / complaining. In order to know what they were shouting /complaining about, read Quran, chapter 9. And also as i have said before verse 6304, give us a clue of who were the audience and in what vernacular / language they spoke.

In order to comprehend better the verse, we will need to go back to verse 1203....

We relate to you - , the best of stories in what We have inspired to you of this Qur'an although you were, before it, among the unaware.

From 1203, we would be able to see and that is, two entities were involved and both were of a different level when receiving the message. It tells us that the Messenger whom this Quran, were given to him and where the stories were told, and also tells us the Prophet was inspired , Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants Prophethood and a Book. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous

                                      AND QURAN 2172 - 73

And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all We made righteous.

And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshippers of Us.

As such, from the above verses, it shows explicitly that the Prophetic lineage from the Family of Abraham was thru Prophet Ishaq . As for Ishmael, his descendants was the Great Nation as promised by the ALMIGHTY to Ishmael father, Prophet Abraham.

The verse 1206 is in the imperfect and as such, is referring to the Prophet!

                                      2nd reference

16103 And We are aware that they say "A human being is teaching him." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, while this is a clear Arabic tongue.

In response to your comment on 16103...The rest i will respond later.....insha ALLAH

The Quran is the GREATEST EVIDENCE 1206

And likewise, will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise."

It is a DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUN, a pronoun that is used to point to something specific within a sentence. it has nothing to do with the previous or the sentence after it. There are many examples in the Quran pertaining to this pronoun. In fact in Chapter 12 itself there are many examples...verses 21, 22, 32, 56, 75

                                      AND QURAN 2927

And We gave to him , Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants Prophethood and a Book.

From the above verses, it shows explicitly that the Prophetic lineage from the Family of Abraham was thru Prophet Ishaq . It explicitly tells us the Prophet was NOT AN ARAB AND AS SUCH A FOREIGNER. As for Ishmael, his descendants was the Great Nation as promised by the ALMIGHTY to Ishmael father, Prophet Abraham - Q0454

Nowhere in the Quran says the Prophet was taught by the israelites. In fact, the Quran - Chapters 02; 26; 53, confirms that it was Jibreel, who taught him. Please read and try to comprehend the Quran.

The hadith contradict the Quran. Quran states explicitly that the Prophet was a Foreigner and not an Arab or whatever.

Those Reading The Book before you

All the prophets were given The Book, but what's in core of the Book Allah reveals to whome he wills.
what I have learned from this book of Allah through his messengers is that in all times people memorized this Book without understanding.

                                        Salam Brother Furqan

This is also erroneous. Arabic alphabet has 29 not 28.

Which Arabic? ASA or Classical or MSA?
