what was the prayer our prophet did in cave?
-
salam and peace to all,
as we all know that our beloved prophet muhammad (pbuh) used to pray in cave but we cannot find out that how he used to do that prayer. some says he use to think about God. does it was the prayer like how to perform meditation in buddism? because the main point in buddist meditation is to concentrate on one point and on breathing its helps to make mind stable and by continuous breathing exercise one can gain power to move his consciousness through which he can be free from time and space and he can see pictures of future and past. all this attributes of prophets and saints only. what ever research on this topic i hv done till now i came to conclusion that our salah is very much like meditation.
but i cannot say that i hv reached to any conclusion yet. i need more information.
thank you.

Check this out 650 Say "I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of God, nor do I know the future, nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I merely follow what is inspired to me." Say "Are the blind and the seer the same? Do you not think?"
The translation is from this website
-
I merely follow what is inspired to me
he said what inspired to him... right?? so did he know about the quran before ? the answer is "NO" but he told us what God revealed to him.. right? as it is God reveled to him some future events also.
hope u will try to understand now.
-
I understand. And I understand that seeing/knowing future and uttering speech by the command of God is two different things.
And this is what one sees in this ayat, God commands the Prophet/messenger to tell the people these exact words nor do I know the future... I merely follow what is inspired to me
-
There are many examples but i will mention only one here. The conquest of Constantinople which is mention in hadiths but not in Quran. what would u consider it? that he forgot to mention this part from God in Quran so he included it in hadiths??? or a foretold future?
is it?

And what about dream which shows future to a common people sometimes?
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha al-Ansari from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The good dream of a man who is salih is a forty-sixth part of prophecy." Yahya related the like of that to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Maliks Muwatta Book 52, Number 52.1.1
who are SALIH peoples? people who remember Allah continously in their heart which is called ziker and that ziker is a meditation with the concentration of mind. when we open our selves to Allah he gives us kwowing about things and future also.
-
only God knows whats behind the curtain, what is unseen, what future behold...
but if he wishes to reveal anything to anyone then God is fully capable of it...
He knows their present and their future, and they do not have any of His knowledge except for what He wishes. 2/255

Yahoo! GUYS I AM A PROPHET. OBEY ME. I have already mentioned here couple of times how my dreams come true and that is also in "chain".I can also predict which country/leader will rise and fall politically and who here will be successful in career. I am blessed with the psychic power of public and business admin.

Salam and peace,
@reel.
Prophet is the one who get direct message from angel or direct talk to God. Do u get messages from angels? Or did u talk to God?
Saints also foretell things and events but this is what how our intuitions work. When we do ziker of Allah with our heart and soul we become psychic.

Peace Mahanoor.
Often when we want to cure an illness we need to go back to the root cause of that illness.
The problem with the human mind is that it can be polluted by the viruses of "how one is brought up" and the doctrines and traditions it goes through.
I noticed from most of your posts that you are mixing hadiths and Qoran and asking questions that are intertwined and depend on bits of both.
There is a difference between what GOD says and what we say( human). Qoran is from GOD,hadiths are from people.
GOD s words are complete, fully detailed and sufficient on their own.To understand this we need to detox our mind from the viruses of our upbringing and start fresh. Yes from zero.
First study the primary source (Qoran) on its own with a sincere heart. Here your journey will start from zero, with patience and trust in GOD Alone, let the journey advance slowly(be patient) and let GOD drive you to your destination.
Hopefully your questions become clearer, then one seeks their answer from the Author of Qoran, the only authority and teacher of Qoran.Hope that helps.
GOD bless you.

All prophets and human beings are "beloved"providing we get our priority right and love GOD the most.
Yes I read your post.
Qoran says to pray to GOD whenever you like.GOD is near and will respond to His servants.
A private prayer between the person and GOD is private.
All we can say about the cave is that the prophet prayed to GOD to save him and his "sahib" and GOD saved them.
What else can we possibly say except make up stuff? Qoran does not give any details ,so we should not make up stuff or speculate.
GOD bless you.
Peace -

about which cave are you talking??? i asked about the cave hira where prophet went before his prophethood and he got his first revelation there? and i want to ask that do u believe on 5 times prayer?
-
Peace Mahanoor.
My apologies about the wrong cave.
However ,similarly ,the prophet went to connect with his Lord privately also. Hence what was said/prayed,if the details are not in Qoran, then it is assumed.made up.
Do I believe on 5 times prayer?
Yes brother, I connect with my Creator 5 times a day. I do it hopefully, to feed my real self(soul). I feed my other self(body) three to 4 times a day except when I am fasting. The body requires the food and the spirit requires the connection with GOD( Like your computer ,when the power runs out ,it needs charging)
I meditate( for the benefit of my soul) at other times also, you could say similar to what the prophet did at the cave( if history is correct),but I comm orate and praise my Creator and remember Him((Dhikr) when I retire by myself to a quiet place( sometimes in my room, sometimes in the park, sometimes on a drive away trip, sometimes in the middle of the night, sometimes early in the morning.) I am trying to make this a habit like my jogging and physical activities (for the benefit of my body).
Hope that explains your query .
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
it is believed prophet Muhammad was a good and honest person that also used to meditate in the cave of Hira until one day he received words from God.
regarding prayer, I believe it is the instant where you detach yourself from wanting/wishing/worrying and connect with God, whatever that is done, it is healthy as we get easily attached to our work and stuff by the moment we put our mind into it. So it is good to put your mind out of it every now and then.
*connect with God to connect with the emptiness, silence, nothing. I think
