    Good post Andy

The Quran also confirmed that there was an attempt to tamper with the Quran and Allah prevented this from happening

    Salam

Could you bring up the verses? That would be interesting.

      Thanks.

        Salaam jonny,

Now one more thing for you to remember. Remember that GOD says in the Quran that He will protect it, right? This means that this is a law the Law of GOD, correct? Now any logical person knows that a law cannot possibly be proven to exist unless somebody tries to break it, get it? For example if i say to someone in a room that he cannot exit it and that person stayed in the room forever, then nobody would ever know whether what i said is corect or not. It's only when the person tries to escape and then is forced back in that my statement would be proven right. Same is the case with GOD's statement of preservation. If nobody even attempted to temper with the Quran, ow in GOD's name are we supposed to know it's protected. Thus the exposition of 9128&129 as being non Quranic has actually proven what GOD stated. GOD Bless!

I have given an example of attempt from the enemies of the prophet to tamper with quran. The attempt was to remove verses from quran (see http//www.free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=3007.msg98867#msg98867).

I would like to give yet another example. This one is the attempt to add verses to quran.

Shahih Malik Muwatta Book 41, Number 41.1.8

Malik related to me from Ibn Shihab from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba ibn Masud that Abdullah ibn Abbas said, "I heard Umar ibn al-Khattab say, 'Stoning is in the Book of Allah for those who commit adultery, men or women when they are muhsan and when there is clear proof of pregnancy or a confession.' "

The hadith above can be seen as an attempt from the enemies of the prophet to tamper with quran. Again we can see that the attempt has failed since Allah promised that He will protect His Book. Had the attempt been successful, we would have seen verses of stoning in quran. Have you ever thought that way?

          Wassalam,

Those who deny Allah and His Messengers, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His Messengers, saying "We believe in some but reject others" and (those who) wish to take a course midway.

They are in truth (equally) Unbelievers; and We have prepared for Unbelievers a humiliating Punishment.

I cannot see the relation between "the attempt of the enemies of the prophet to tamper with the quran" and the verses you brought up. Could you expatiate?

            Thanks.

Some moslem think that they shall follow Muhammad character who love every men regardless of their believe, in other hand they reject that Allah has enemy, or Allah has ordered to make war.

The truth that Muhammad can not be separated to the whole story of Al Quran where he took part entirely.
