There were no hieroglyph description of such practice ever being found...Apparently it was invented by the Greeks..

In short, crossing is about self defense and retaliation to attacker pagans (Who cuts the Muslims in X shape).
533 The recompense of those who fight God and His messenger and seek to corrupt the land, is that they will be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off on alternate sides or that they be banished from the land. Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger = (Godly people/peacemakers) and strive upon earth corruption = ( people like cyborg movie villan ) is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides = (cut/control/mark their resources/weapons as well as their manpower) or that they be exiled from the land. This is not controlling or driving car.
Cut the hands and feet crosswise.

These are retaliation and allowance.
Forgiveness is at the forefront of every crime. Even in the murder, forgiveness is in the foreground, but there is a license to execution too.
In theft, according to the size of the theft is done, by jailing/power cutting, real hand cutting or mark it by scratching.

Fir3awn is a person, who is given that name in the Qur'an it is not an officatitle or official title. Yusuf inthe Qur'an lives in a place that has several gates. as can be read in the Sura Yusuf. Anciente Egypt did not have several gates through which could enter at the same time the different brothers of Yusuf.
It heinous how history and the Qur'an are being distorted and adulterated so that the Bible stories continue to shape our knowledge of history and God. Not even Christians or Jews take the Bible as factual history, but here are Muslims paying tribute to ethnic literature.
There is nothing wrong with finding the spiritual gems of the different books that make up the Bible, but to worship the whole collection of books that constitue the Bible, as factual undisputable history an impose it on the Qur'an is horrendous.
Any amount of nonsense and dark ideas can be thrown on aciente Egypt mailigning a whole civilasation which outlasted any civilisation we know of, but never mind, those are lesser persons and they can be maligned. And the Qur'an can be held as nonsense, provided the Bible remains sacred, not for Christians or Jews, who finally know what it is and take it for what it is, but for Muslims, who donot know what it is, nor know how to take it.
Fantastic! No enemy can do to Muslims what Muslims do to themsleves. Great, really great.

Of course, this crosswise proves that the event has passed in antic Egyptian civilization.
It gives us a better understanding, of why they using today, the X-mark alongside the pyramid and one-eye markers.
And the Quran only religious source that gave the knowledge, they make cross the feet and arms in the Egyptian civilization.
As I said in the meantime, ancient Egyptian civilization could have a wider territory than is believed.
It doesn't have to be limited to today's Egyptian soil, where the pyramids are located.
But it's definitely happening in ancient Egyptian civilization.
