    Salaam 'Alaikum,

As God says in Qur'an that SHIRK is the biggest sin and unforgivable sin, then what about Agnostics as they don't commit shirk but are confused.

Then my reply to you would be who are we to decide that agnostics are not among the most wicked?

What obviously would follow is how do you define agnosticism?

Wishing harm to other people is not the right thing, for that itself is a proof why it will not happen.
God cannot make true the wish of the arrogant ones, those who ascribed piety to themselves and made others seem lower, disposable.

Full of assumption and condemnation against one who submit to God, while you raise up your sword and shield in defense of hypothetical individuals.

I believe that whoever rejects God and worships other things will have to suffer consequences. No matter how much we try to hide it, God already told it in Qur'an.

Many people in this world seems like they are very good even though they are not believers. BUT, inside only God knows what they are.
In speech, even Donald Trump looks very good person, but the evil inside is only known by God.

But, my question was about Agnostic. As SHIRK is only "Unforgivable" sin, what would be with the agnostics?

Any evidence from the Quran will help.

                    PEACE!

But what if those agnostics/atheist and etc are actually much more kinder than some of muslims? Why will they have to burn in hell?

I am an agnostic right now, i want to become muslim again with all my heart, however rn i cant force myself to believe in Islam, will i burn in hell just cos I cant make my heart believe in smth?

I hope someone here will reply with evidence about agnostics...

But, as for the BOLD sentence-
Sometimes we think that just because the person was born in a "MUSLIM" family is also a MUSLIM. I think this is wrong. And if it was like that it would be injustice. Because what did the Non Muslim guy did that he had to born in Non Muslim family?

So not everyone who born in "MUSLIM" family and claiming they are "MUSLIM" are actually Muslims.

Muslim is a person who submits to God and makes peace. So if you find those "MUSLIMS" not making peace are really not following God.

                        PEACE!

I found,,along my journey, subjects that are difficult for us to unravel and we simply have not got the knowledge to read peoples hearts and real convictions.
This is why GOD says many times across the Qoran "GOD will judge ", "GOD knows your inner most convictions", "GOD knows your thoughts and intentions"...
For examples ,millions ,if not billions of folks say they are Muslims, are they? A lot differ in the real definition of what is a "Muslim"?
In the same way those who say they are "Agnostics" ,are they really?
Remember ,our definitions and intentions can vary, So unless we have real evidence, and how do you get evidence for what we perceive? I mean I could have a different view to others of what is an "Agnostic"? Can my evidence be secure if I have a false definition?
in short, we cannot tell you who goes to hell!!! We can only tell you that each one of us need to work on themselves to save their own soul from hell.
GOD only tells us that countless of humans and Jinns are destined for hell. We cannot even know what is the real hell, we only have an allegorical description.
Brother, questions like who goes to hell are
1- Complex for us because humans can change one way or the other.
2- Our judgement is not secure. We have no idea of peoples deep convictions or can read the future.
3- GOD Alone assigns whoever He wants to hell, according to the works of the individual and GOD s knowledge, records and proof that the individual deserves hell. GOD is fair and just.
And of course GOD s Mercy and forgiveness will also plays a big part.
                          GOD bless you.
                          Peace.

Even from speech, I can detect that Mr Trump is a 'narcist'.. Not 'evil'.. but 'narcist'...
He requires and like 'attention' and a sense of 'winning' and 'superiority'..
And after learning how he was raised... I understand why....

Environment play major part in human mental development...
When you were born within Sunni environment you will think like a Sunni, within Wahabi environment you will think like a Wahabis within Ancient Egyptian environment you will worship Pharaoh, Book Of The Dead, Osiris, Amon Ra and so on....

Sometimes we think that just because the person was born in a "MUSLIM" family is also a MUSLIM. I think this is wrong. And if it was like that it would be injustice. Because what did the Non Muslim guy did that he had to born in Non Muslim family?

That is the reason why you should not be too attached or be proud with your identity and judge others based on their social identity. Whether it is national identity, ethnical / racial identity and religious identity...

So not everyone who born in "MUSLIM" family and claiming they are "MUSLIM" are actually Muslims.

                                Has the following been considered?

1736 And do not uphold what you have no knowledge of; for the hearing, and eyesight, and mind - all these you are responsible for.

4914 The Nomads said "We believe." Say "You have not believed; but you should say "We have submitted;' until belief enters into your hearts." And if you obey God and His messenger, He will not put any of your works to waste. God is Forgiver, Merciful.

An agnostic may be interpreting/struggling for/seeking knowledge. Isn't it more honest to embrace something only after giving it considered and diligent thought? hmm

ISA, agnostics will come to the deen. Those who are not currently of the deen may later ISA embrace monotheism, so we should refrain from behavior/speech that would tend to repel those who might be seekers--whatever their current system (or lack thereof).

May ALLAH see fit to Guide all seekers.

                                peace

That's correct, but the question is about the Quran and after death.

In the Quran, Allah said about Shirk but not agnostic as Unforgivable SIN.

So, if the person dies as agnotic, will he be considered same as mushreek?

Any reference from the Quran about agnostic?

Lets see what Quran says about shirk i.e. following other than Allah

Say, ?God?s Guidance is the only true guidance.? And if you follow their wishes and errant views after all the knowledge that has come to you, then you will find no ally or helper from God.

                                    2850

If they fail to respond to you, then know that they only follow their own desires. Who can be farther astray than one who follows his own desires, without guidance from God? God does not guide people who choose to do wrong.

                                    4523

Have you ever noted him who makes his desires his god? Consequently, God lets him go astray despite his knowledge, seals up his hearing and his heart, and places a veil on his sight. Then who will lead him after he has left God? Will you not then remember?

Is an agnostic following Allah's guidance or following his desires or following someone other than God? If so then is he guided and not doing shirk?

I hope you understand that "shirk" is not ritualistic worship of a deity. God's ghafara i.e. protection is for those who follow His guidance. Generally "ghafara" is understood as forgiveness but its root meanings include protection.

                                    Salaam

                                        Salaam,
                                        Thanks for explanation..

Yes, I understand what you said.

But, there are agnostics who doesn't deny God. Infact there is difference between atheist and agnostics.

The agnostics are simply saying, there is a God but they don't know who is it. They are confused and finding no answer for their questions. So they still don't deny the existence of God but are confused about who is God and what to follow.

What do you say on such situation?

Please reflect on the following ayat. Whoever is not taking guidance from Allah and following his own desires/wishes is not guided. It covers deniers of God or agnostics and every one who is confused about God and guidance.
