Where is Paradise.

So we don't have knowledge of where Adam and Hawa when Allah created them and put them in Paradise? Is that right?
The purpose for me asking is because I came across this article which I think it insinuating that jannah of where Adam was, is on Earth.

Centi 50 I think that is the Bible that seems to say that. But in Qur'an I think that it is not to where Adam lived originally where anybody is going to be after death. The gardens of after life are something else, nothign to do with the place where early humans were, which as on earth, plain earth. The gardens of after life are mathal as the Qur'an clearly says. Also mathal is "hell", the fire.

Your question and what you reply and again ask is so ambiguous... Do you want to know about the past where Adam lived or the future where believers are meant to be rewarded. Or the place where already Those martyrs and great people are living? The Janna the believers are supposed to reach is not yet created... That's what I get from QURAN.. But Janna where Adam lived in beyond this earth and heavens and that could be the same place where those who are prophets and other great believers May be living... But need further study on it...
Regarding hell also not yet fired or created as per my understanding of Quran... For sure no one is in hell Now... But in Janna for sure some.. that's my understanding.... God guide us.. -
I just want to know where is Paradise and hell according to Quran. As far as i know its in heavens.
You mean the place we go when we die?
Need to ask those who has experienced death..Here's a documentary exploring the phenomenon.
5TH Dimension Near Death Experience Documentary
https//youtu.be/4mL-2f4FNPsMost probably it's on 'another dimension', not in this universe.
There's also those who said that you might have experienced death.
And the memory can be revived through past life regression, a form of hypnotic therapy. -
Near death experience is a crap.. There is nothing can be called as such... God has time for everyone for death.. No one will face it in advance or they will see it before hand or etc etc..
Yes... There is a place called Janna even before this earth and heavens were created.. Don't think that angels just hiding somewhere.. They are living.. And I strongly believe they do consume food since they are Jin... Ibrahim guest is not relevant coz they came in the form of human...
Take example of Marryam.. She received food from God through a messenger... Do you think that this food is of this very earth.. Or the food received to Moses people.. They are from Janna Where Adam lived and angels living... Some say Adam didn't have a body in Janna and only soul... He ate a fruit and he was advised to enjoy what was in the jannah and he was created in his full form and he was living... And later he was sent to this very earth which was pre-planned by God and not just coz Adam ate it or iblees fallen from angel to lower level... Even before God created Adam God says to angels about Adam creation and gonna place on earth... Ponder with it.. So is it Adam mistake is the cause? Or God had plan.. Centi don't refer always to articles but self study QURAN and conclude self.. Quran is self guidance and not from others... But from God... -
Yes Novic...
235 Pickthall "And We said O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers"By the above verse I deem adam ate.. Coz he was recommended by God to Eat and dwell free... It means a peaceful life with a restriction...do you have any other meaning to this verse.. Or the tree he was banned has some mystry? And what did Adam with the tree? Just go with the flow of the verse... I won't get anything other than eating... Okay... Leave the banned tree aside.. Didn't God ask Adam to eat in the Janna... So Adam do SD it eat... .... Pls do answer me with some better logic..
God bless u -
235 and we said oh adam saty you and your pair the jannah and you both eat from it with abundance as you both wish and don't you both come near this shajara so you both become from transgressors.
235 Pickthall "And We said O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers"
Where is the red part in the Arabic text?
How do you understand "shajara"? Interestingly same Pickthall translated "shajarah" as dispute in 465
465
465 Pickthall But nay, by thy Lord, they will not believe (in truth) until they make thee judge of what is in dispute between them and find within themselves no dislike of that which thou decidest, and submit with full submission.
722
means they both tasted the shajara. How they tasted the tree?
A great philosopher poet from India Javed Iqbal wrote following lines ( translation as original is in Urdu language)
Shajara is secterianism, narrow mindedness is fruit of it
This is that fruit that expels adam from jannah2213
2213 Pickthall Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Scripture with the truth that it might judge between mankind concerning that wherein they differed. And only those unto whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come unto them, through hatred one of another. And Allah by His Will guided those who believe unto the truth of that concerning which they differed. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path.
So mankind (adam) was one community then they disputed among themselves.
If we study Quran a different picture appears. Please reflect.

Yes I want to know "about the past where Adam lived or the future where believers are meant to be rewarded. Or the place where already Those martyrs and great people are living?"
The reason I am asking is because someone ask me those questions and I couldn't answer by using Quran
So that's why I asked here so I get knowledge to this questions using the Quran verses alone
God bless you

Centi..
I feel pity on you.. You are rushing to answer another and you have not found answer in Quran and you appraoch here... First you approach quran and guidance from God and answer to the person... If you in fact want to use quran alone better master it in your own way and not posing questions here.. You take an answer from here and answer to that fellow.. It won't be in the end Quranic.. Anyway I don't blame you...
Somehow I have answered your question.. I hope you haven't read yet.. -
Yes Novice...
The topic here is where is jannah... Based on that I was answering saying Adam ate and was recommended by God to do so... Did Adam ate or not? That's key.. If he is a human wherever he lives according to the system of human body he needs to eat...
He was not on this earth for sure coz he and the rest were ordered by God to leave that place to EARTH... It was not like they were ordered to shift from one place of earth to another but to Earth. Coz they were not on the earth already... . How they were brought to the Earth is mystry.. But as soon as they were on earth they didn't have restriction like God put while they were on Janna... Hazihi sajara and An thilkuma sajara is very crucial... You can't get other than tree based on verses..
Why can't the sajara be tree? And what is the wrong in translation of sajara as dispute in 465.... You want sajara only to be as dispute or only to be as tree.. That won't happen..
Yes red part fruit is not in Quran but he has put inside bracket.. And all knows what is inside bracket is not from QURAN.. But I don't personally prefer anything to be included in Quran translation away from what's meant.. But while explaining to another or arguing or self understanding thinking of anything of any verse is harmless.. Coz that's personal understanding... Anyway translations won't guide us but God.. Meanwhile tasting the tree or tasting of the tree(translations) whatever it is... Why can't we accept tasting the tree is right? Does it look odd to you?
Now let's turn to your question which is totally away from topic... ONE COMMUNITY... The verse can never be taken as you say mankind equal Adam... It's not what God has really meant in it... Let's look at it
2"213 Arberry The people were one nation; then God sent forth the Prophets, good tidings to bear and warning, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth, that He might decide between the people touching their differences; and only those who had been given it were at variance upon it, after the clear signs had come to them, being insolent one to another; then God guided those who believed to the truth, touching which they were at variance, by His leave; and God guides whomsoever He will to a straight path"It's not Adam... It's much later time... Most probably Nuh (coz Noah people told him one God belief we never heard of from our ancestors... To hear something similar in the past there should have been prophets)... ... Coz with the flow of the verses of Quran we can deduce... Well... Prophets mentioned here.... Adam was not a prophet or any of his immediate children.. God told to Adam that He will send guidance as per 238.. When Adam was asked to live in jannah no guidance was given to him on how to live the life except strictly telling him that Satan is an enemy to you and not to near the sajara... This was enough for him to live in Janna if he obeyed it.. But failed... But guidance from prophets is vast and covers many aspects.. It was required when there was a community.. As per this verse if you feel Adam and his wife to be as community mentioned in this verse then it's entirely going against the meaning of the total verse.. There was no enmity between Satan and Adam when he was in Janna but Satan was an enemy but Adam failed to grasp.. but when God asked to leave Janna to the Earth God said 236 ".... Get down all with enmity between yourself... "
When there is enmity there needs guidance... Numbers increased and community formed and God chosen out of human a prophet to reveal his guidance... And Adam was not Prophet.. If you take Adam as community Adam will become a prophet which we don't see any proof in Quran....
Adam was not the right time for Prophet and delivering scripture and giving laws... If you deeply give a thought you can imagine...
God clearly states mankind was one community and sent prophets.. So clearly to the first community of the earth received PROPHETS and not one... But scripture and not scriptures ... All one guidance from the first community and only prophets changed with time but message was same one scripture and all scriptures confirming each other..
We all know Adam is the first human being.. Needless to say again " .. Mankind (Adam) was one community.... " but there is a big difference saying mankind was one community coz we may think what happened to the people after Adam and so on.. God clearly states people were one community till certain time but later they differed in every thing language the way they look and the places they lived etc.. But they were together initially... Prophet Noah is ideal example for it.. If anyone thinks that while prophet Noah period there were any other community away from the place they were then it's baseless... It was a destruction to the whole world because of people of Noah ...
I cannot accept your comment based on QURAN Novice.. Unless you bring a better explanation to ONE community...Quran will not give different picture but only one picture... Only one guidance and one truth... Approach to that one truth...

Why can't the sajara be tree? And what is the wrong in translation of sajara as dispute in 465.... You want sajara only to be as dispute or only to be as tree.. That won't happen..
I do not want it but Arabic text does not support it. How a tree is tasted?
Yes red part fruit is not in Quran but he has put inside bracket.. And all knows what is inside bracket is not from QURAN.. But I don't personally prefer anything to be included in Quran translation away from what's meant.. But while explaining to another or arguing or self understanding thinking of anything of any verse is harmless.. Coz that's personal understanding... Anyway translations won't guide us but God.. Meanwhile tasting the tree or tasting of the tree(translations) whatever it is... Why can't we accept tasting the tree is right? Does it look odd to you?
This is how stories are made from Quranic verses. Translation could be made "tasting of the tree" but Arabic text does not say that. Yes it look very odd to me if a translator add to Quran what is not there.
Now let's turn to your question which is totally away from topic... ONE COMMUNITY... The verse can never be taken as you say mankind equal Adam... It's not what God has really meant in it... Let's look at it
Please check some classic Arabic dictionaries and see what root means. If you believe that Adam was a single man created and his spouse came out of his rib then you have to accept that human race is a product of incest which is haram and you also have to ignore all those verses giving concept of evolution.

Novice
For you how a tree is tasted is not acceptable.. But for me yes.. How can a Tree be tasted. What is tree? One whole entity? It includes from its root to top... It's not odd for me at all.. It's similar for me as " taste the lunch" what I eat and drink in a lunch is up to me.. Or "Enjoy the party" what I do in the party to enjoy May not be the same what everyone doing there.. Or same as saying " read the book" what I read how I read where I start how I understand is up to the person...
Sorry novice.. I don't use classic dictionaries.. I have enough inside quran to understand with whatever translation.. I appreciate all translators... But in the end I won't take what they translated but what Quran says and with what God guides.. Yeah may be my understanding May go in line with translation or may be not... But with what God meant when He wrote...
So according to you Adam is plural and not singular.. I didn't talk of his wife here and rib bla bla..
Adam is singular throughout quran.. Don't you perceive it Novice... Whenever God call instead of his name Adam was called as singular and as male form of Arabic.. Do you agree or you have proof for Adam being plural with Quran throughout ...what can I present you to understand.. Yes.. Same verse 235
"And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers"
Now you proudly talk of classic dictionaries.. Tell me what those dictionaries tell about the above verse.
Let me explain you to my understanding..
235 .. "Skun".. Dwell (singular) coz God address Adam only.. "antha" you (Singular).. "wa'sawjuka" YOUR(singulr) wife/spouse ..."wakula" eat (dual) not more than two.. "shi'thuma" You wish both (dual) .. "wala thakraba" (dual) not near... "fathakuna" (dual) lest you both be..
That's my understanding.. Now Adam called by God singular and God called Adam and his wife in dual form... Okay bring me evidences from QURAN saying Adam was plural? This is not the only verse, but all which god talks of Adam is singular and with this glaring proof you still want to think just coz of sajara of your misunderstanding, Adam to be plural and a community.. No way novice.. Look verse 237 "Then Adam received from His Lord.... " (his Lord -- Min rabbihi.. Does it look plural to you? It's not Their Lord but His Lord... I am sorry I had to explain all these simple things which everyone knows..
What incest? What haram? .. How do you make things haram while No Guidance is presented with Adam and of Noah Ibrahim Moses Jesus or Mohamed.. That's guidance coz it is required for communities but not for Adam.. Come on novice... Guidance from God kept on developing according each societies.. Even in the period of Mohamed God says you can't marry two sisters at a time.. But what is of the past is neglected and they were not asked to divorce.. So imagine with Adam... May God guide you with what is in fact truth... God bless u
