    Peace Jafar.

Indeed ,this Iblis could even be you brother jafar or me(good logic). I do not know about you ,but from my part they can blame me all they like and sue me 100 times over, they still would not be excused from "karma"?

Oh, you mean like they blame GOD and Qoran.

That Qoran subject, you and me mention often, keeps coming back at us like a boomerang. It says a lot about Iblis and the methods he uses!!!!
Beware brother jafar. Seek refuge from Iblis
    GOD bless you.
    Peace.

Thank you, but I never met this creature Iblis and I don't believe that He/She/It exist.

Based on what I read about him through myriad of middle eastern legends and myths I think this 'creature' is proud thus ignorance and stupid as a direct implication of being proud, and there are lot of stories from the myths about this iblis which totally doesn't make sense at all.

As thus I really do not fear or worried about this creature at all thus I see no need to seek refuge from this creature. In the same manner as I do not fear or worried about Vampire, Ghoul, Balor, Yang-Gui, Kuntilanak, Valak, Mokoi, Gumba-Gumba or other mythological creatures found around the globe and I never seek refuge from them.

I'm more worried about a creature called human, especially non-emphatical, nonsensical, fanatical, hateful and psychopathic human. Especially when such human held high-position in power (King, Sultan, Dictator, President, Fuhrer, High-Priest, Imam, Habaib, Sheikh) and have number of fanatical followers who are also non-emphatical, nonsensical, fanatical, hateful and psychopathic. They pose real threat and proven to be far more brutal than any mythological creatures.

I think iblis is more of our EGO, which gives us a false pride on ourselves, which is not true, but its difficult to be Egoless and in this way our ego "will not yield to us", as we often fail to believe nothing we bring in and nothing we take back.

Yes brother jafar, I agree we should not fear anyone or anything. Although there are certain people and things that we should "be wary of".

I fear my own self lest it rebels against the Creator.
          It is "me" against "myself".
Of course you are free to do as you please and fear whatever you want or not.
          GOD bless you.
          Peace.

No need to worry, you (or me or him/her or it) will never ever ever able to even start a rebellion against the true God.

The God, the all powerful, the all planner, the all controlling, the all knowing, facing a 'rebellion' is an illogicality, the possibility of that is definitely ZERO percent (impossible).
The entire notion of 'rebellion against God' by itself is totally ridiculous.

If you (or anyone else) really think that it's possible to start a rebellion against God, then you are as mad as Roman emperor named Caligula. The only figure in history who is definitely mad enough to order his troop to start a war against a god, for his case Poseidon god of the sea.

Such order is so mad as such it caused a confusion among Caligula's general on how to even start a war against a god?? Yet to avoid the wrath of the Roman Emperor, which was infamous for his murder, torture and brutality, they marched the troops to the sea, throw their spear into the sea and report back to the mad emperor that the God has surrendered.

A comedic sketch about the Roman madness of war against God rotfl
            https//youtu.be/9h_NGN7uKtE

Ancient people, especially in middle east, used to 'picture' God as if It was a human king. And do things as any human kings do, sitting in a throne, declare a decree, got pissed off, torture people, has enemy, declare war, facing rebellion and rejection, sometimes lost a war, converse with people, rest / sleep, got horny, have sex with people, has kid(s) with people (thus the term God in Flesh, Half-God Half Man, Fully God Fully Man) etc...

            It is "me" against "myself".
Of course you are free to do as you please and fear whatever you want or not.

You, me, them are playing a role as planned by The Director.
The role might not be the same, but it was as all planned by The Director.
Nobody or nothing will have any chance of possibility to 'rebel'..

Oh brother jafar, I am certainly mad. Again I agree with you here.
I probably was unaware of it ,like this cow

Two cows are out grazing in the field. One cow says to the other cow, “Aren’t you worried about this mad cow disease that’s been going around?” The other cow replied, “Why would I be worried about mad cow disease? I’m a rabbit!”

Also the other day I got so mad at my GPS and told it to go to hell.
Unfortunately it did not work!!! It took me to my in-laws’ house.

If I end up visiting you brother, it will be the fault of my GPS.
Pray for me to get rid of that "Iblis" in me ?
Thank you and GOD bless you.
              Peace.

rotfl the ability to laugh at one self is a very good sign of (and a very good exercise for) a healthy conscience, keep it up..

Also the other day I got so mad at my GPS and told it to go to hell.
Unfortunately it did not work!!! It took me to my in-laws’ house.

If I end up visiting you brother, it will be the fault of my GPS.

It will be no one's fault, it will be in accordance to The Director's plan.. as also any other events in your life..

Pray for me to get rid of that "Iblis" in me ?

By "Iblis" here you meant metaphorically right? As literally it doesn't exist...
It's very simple, cleanse yourselves from pride and hatred..

As mentioned above, laughing at yourselves is one of a very good exercise for it..
Another good tips is to perhaps to stop mentioning or blaming iblis?? or any other 3rd parties for that matter.
And just look inside for self-correction and self contemplation without blaming any other parties. As only through mistakes and realization of such mistakes that we made we shall learn, make corrections and progress forward.

Yes this is the ridiculous part of Quran story...
In the Quran God asked a question to Iblis... rotfl
On 1532, God asked a question to Mr Iblis "what is with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"

i already pointed out that story got lot of questions to ask and even experts knew this from early times how difficult to answer those critical questions..

now lets see from this of your point..

"what is with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"

the author of Quran in first part told the conttrollers " i know what you dnt know "

now God is surprised about the rebellion from one of his creation.. ( didnt GOD already know if he already knew then he should have responded in such a way " you are not prostrating him becoz i made u from fire and i made him from clay and in future you will prove thats a faulty creation of you God" ) .

                  so author underestimate the GOD..

original God gave us reason to think and ponder about things what does not make sense hence we should not get afraid from eternal hellfire if we did not accept some fairytales...

The legend of Iblis / devil evolved through time....
In a version of this ancient (originally Sumerian) legend, the 'party' who seduced Adam was not iblis but Lilith. And Lilith as the name implies is a female. She was told to be Adam's true first wife until she had an affair with an Archangel named Samael and left Adam.... what a 'heavenly entertainment gossip' isn't it?

TRUE the story got lot of versions and some of them are really entertaining and funny..

in my childhood my grandfather had two versions of one of the popular book called QISAS-UL-ANBIA (tales of prophets)

                  sunni version and shia version..

SHIA version i still remember in which IBLESS intercourse with serpent who came to adam and eve and in the result his progeny is still continuing in the shape of some weird creation rotfl

in sunni version they blamed it to "eve" who with ibless forced adam to eat from that tree rotfl
in result God punished all women to adopt a monthly cycle as a curse and all women will feel pain while giving a brith becoz the result of action ended in the birth of kid , rotfl brickwall..

and most of the folks think women possess more devilish side than man .. dnt know what makes them think like that..

If this Ibless really exist, he should responded with
"I don't know you and why would I wasted my time with you and your miserable horny life!! Stop blaming me!! and If you want to f&k an animal that's your own f&&ing business but for human sake!! at least get a room!!"
                  rotfl

I really recommend to Iblees (if he exist) to start looking for a human lawyer and start suing millions of human who always accuse him for the things he didn't do. File for Defamation or Slander and make million $$$ claim for immaterial damage to his reputation.

instead of suing human he would already have file a case against God,

his main challenge was i will mislead them,
and if we see the history of human crimes ibless is absent but the rate of crimes getting increase.. if not 50/50 he still score like 80/20..
                  80 criminals
20 peaceful and nice on a average based surveys...

every single second rape murder and robbery is happening ...

when he/she (ibless) see all human doing that he must be having a cup of wine with 72 virgins dancing in celebration of successfully misleading innocent human.. hmm

very true we witnessed lot of those creatures throughout the history

Or perhaps iblis is sad, seeing how human has beaten him on all dimensions... even on 'devilish' deed.

                      What did he do?
                      The myth only mentions,

                      • refusing to bow
                      • persuading a dude to eat a fruit

Compare that what human has capable of doing

                      • Crucifixion
                      • Impalement (ie 6 days of torment before the victim fell to death)
                      • Boiled alive
                      • Burned alive
                      • Beheading
                      • Mutilation
                      • Toxic Gas

                      https//cdn.presstv.com/photo/20190730/2b9de25e-4465-4a02-b30f-0a89cba947b8.jpg

Last but not least, this is so far the pinnacle of human achievement

                      • Instant mass murder of 100,000 people
                        https//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/54/Atomic_bombing_of_Japan.jpg/600px-Atomic_bombing_of_Japan.jpg

what iblis did is a very small peanuts compared to what human has achieved.

Definitely human has proved that they deserved not only a bow but a VERY BIG SALUTE from iblis. hail It's time for iblis to learn a thing or two about hatred, torture and murder from another creature named human.

By the way, has anyone noticed how iblis just disappeared from the story after persuading to eat the fruit thingy?
He / She / It's not being mentioned at all on the story of Pharaoh vs Moses, Abraham burned at the stake, Jesus crucified, Beheading of John etc..
Perhaps he has indeed retired long time ago?

So Iblis is taking his pension and putting his feet up?
Me, I think Iblisbeing the big "Don", he is getting your fellow humans to do the job for him.

Yeah you are right that they are doing a good job for their master. So why should he not take it easy and relax knowing that they will accomplish the tasks he gives them?

You and me also are given tasks in this life, aware or unaware of it,
The biggest task and most difficult is to sort out which tasks are from Iblis and reject them altogether?

                        GOD bless.
                        Peace.

Me, I think Iblisbeing the big "Don", he is getting your fellow humans to do the job for him.

Will the "Don" be at peace finding his rival are much more brutal and more powerful than him?

Yet there is something relatively more honorful in this mythical iblis character compared to human.

At least iblis didn't blame anyone else.. unlike human who often blamed iblis.

If iblis were human, the conversation could went something like this

God "What is with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"
iblis "It was all due to Loki's fault!! He tricked me to not prostrating to Adam!!"
                          God "Who is this Loki????"
iblis "Well he's also a god, not God of god but kind of demi god, he's like me the master of mischief, a trickster, the enemy of Thor, but he's living in another realm, so you can't actually see him or interact with him, he's living in Norse mythology realm called Jotunheim"
God "Bring this Loki to me, I want to have a word with him".
iblis "mmmmm, you need to get a permission from Odin for that"
                          God "Who is this Odin???"
iblis "A god too.. the super god.. just like you but in Norse mythology realm, he's quite nasty, easily pissed off and like to torture people".

                            Or like this

GOD Are you choosing to disobey?

Iblis I am special. I am the one who should be obeyed. I am the best of your creatures.

GOD Well. you already know the consequences of your arrogance. Rebels do not belong to my kingdom. You have made your decision and you accept the outcome.

Iblis Many of your humans will also be arrogant rebels . Just wait and see.

GOD ; I am patient and just to all my creations. You have spurned all your chances. I am giving them this last chance in this life to save the few of them that are remorseful and want to come back to my kingdom. You and the rest can rot in "the 8th universe".. Away from me and the obedient creatures.
Your choosing , I do not force obedience or rebellion on any of my creations.

Iblis You win some and you loose many.

GOD I do not win or loose. I create fairly and give the choice ,it is you lot that decide where you want to be. You know that already by your decisions and choices.
Oh and I will do them all a favour by sending them reminders and warnings to make sure they do not blame you or anyone else for their choices and decisions.

Iblis Easy peasy to pull on my side these humans . The cleverer they think they are, the bigger their ego gets and the easier I win them over. OOOOOOOOh easy peasy!!!!

GOD; see all tomorrow on judgement. Bye.

                            GOD bless.
                            Peace.

@ GL as i told earlier that story got the versions out of which there is also one version by latest self proclaimed messenger called RK.

According to his version iblis is a TEMPORARY god at earth rotfl

I think there is an immediate discrepancy in that version, if he was a temporary god then we see 100 % evil everywhere at earth but as we know ratio is not 100% till now.

                              common thing in all.versions
Human create a creature in their mind called iblis.
Human gave him status like temporary god, lucifer, prince of dark, king of evil, devil, serpent, vampires also have evil ones like valek and goodones called daywalker wesley snipes rotfl , hannas, etc..

@ jafar actually in lot of stories and versions iblis continously was a part.
                              Example

In noah story when noah was putting animals and he said to donkey "OH DEVIL" u too enter in my boat and hence iblis also found a gatepass misunderstanding about doney been called devil.

Another time when yousaf/joseph requested God to imprisoned him due to the evil ideas/satan involevement about zulekha or another time when abraham stoned the devil.

And one more time when job was afflicted with illness and he said God satan is making me weak.

And even in one moment moses killed a person due to racism thing and blammed it to satan rotfl

Satan was nevev been absent brother jafar, also may b hes reading our post and laughing on us how popular he is like celeberity even in negetive role hes successful more fan followers in history than any celebrity ever have >

We see hell of entertainment in all stories versions

                                Peace Imran.

Stories about the unseen are plenty. Who s version are we going to believe?
                                You say ,quote

I think there is an immediate discrepancy in that version, if he was a temporary god then we see 100 % evil everywhere at earth but as we know ratio is not 100% till now.

Why would evil be 100%? On which reality? Are people not free to accept or reject gods?
As long as there is freedom of choice, there will never be 100%. Simply because gods will always have rejecters /adversaries..

So in short, each believes their own version of unseen stories or rejects the unseen all together.
Iblis either exists for some or is a fabrications story for others or do not really know for some others or....

None of us can bring evidence for our story of Iblis, We simply believe our own versions from what we heard/ read/ told by others..
                                ..
For me , I believe the version of Qoran through my research of Qoran s other facts and truth. i.e I trust the version of Qoran because I have my evidence that Qoran is from GOD our creator..
I am not expecting others to believe the same as me. Just giving my view like you, jafar and others.
                                GOD bless you.
                                Peace.

I want to believe on it VS i want to know about it

                                    Peace Imran.

If your father told you a story about your great grandfather and there is no way you can go back and check the details for yourself, you only have two choices
1-Accept it- Because you trust your father that he always tells you the truth through your experience living with him. and his knowledge and thorough research. and it makes sense to you logically and factually
2- Dismiss it- Because you have found contradictions and false information in it. It does not make sense to you. you do not understand the details or connect the events.

Free thinkers come in different guise and sizes. The sincere ones always weigh the information details and try to sort out facts from fiction without bias.
The story of Iblis is like the story of your father.. Do we accept it or dismiss it.
                                    It depends on the individual.

For me, this verse gives me my answer
" Wala Taajal Bi Al Qoran Min Kabli An Ukda Ilayka Wahyahu Wa Kul Rabbi Zidni Ilma". i.e Do not rush Qoran s understanding before acquiring more knowledge about all the subjects in it.

There are many things we simply have to put aside until we acquire more knowledge about them. No matter how long we take, we have to be patient.
The main message of working on our character to be good, peaceful and caring is crystal clear in Qoran. That is what redeems us.
Often ,with our impatience, we can dismiss some things as rubbish/conspiracy/fable... before researching and acquiring more knowledge about it.
Moses story with that knowledgeable bloke is a good example. He was too impatient to learn!
                                    GOD bless you.
                                    Peace.

Or, dear good logic, we can play deliberately dumb.

We may know that we are being addressed at a certain language level, and carry on as if we were answering, looking at our watch, what time is it. And after playing deliberately dumb y we go ahead and think that we have come out really, really clever and witty, finally why not? what is that prentetious idiot who wrote the Qur'an doing speaking as of he was somebody. We do know all he watns is attention... He should know that we are quite able to punch his great ideas and cut him back to size.

The legends of the ancients, which we are too evolved and clever to swallow.

May God have mercy on our delusions and narrowness.

                                      Salaam

                                        Satan is metaphorical.

It's that "power" that pushes you into actions and/or keep you from taking actions by promising you a feeling of existence. Of course, it's a lie and existence is not accomplished through ephemeral sentiments of it. And if you were to do something or not do something in order "feel alive" then you'll have to keep doing that in order to feel alive. It's therefore enslaving and it can be metaphorically interpreted as being a god over people.

From my own experience, the way "satan" is characterized in the quran is pretty accurate.

                                          @ Gl

Whats if your father told same story every year with different updated versions every single year about your late grandfather.

                                          Example

In one story your grandfather is serpent
In one hes is selfish desire.
                                          In one he is angel
                                          In one he is jinny
In one he is temporary god..
In one he is prince of dark..
In one he is alien being..

Now its better to ask grandfather himself what role he played in that drama instead of believing on father or another option make urself understand the purpose of story is to entertain you hence make urself ready for the new role of your grandfather every following year... rotfl
