Do you think sincere sunni muslims can go to paradise
-
Peace
Someone like this guy
https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HQ4Jru6q5QHe seems like a very sincere person. Hadith are wrong but maybe some Sunnis were sincere and just didn't figure it out for whatever reason so perhaps will be forgiven on the day of judgement...

Any sincere person can and eventually arrived at (more) enlightened state.
Regardless of their (current) identity.Everyone and everything evolves, including the chap shown in the (promotional) video.
The evolution and enlightening process actually will never ends. -
Salaam,
I have thought the same thing until I found this verse,449 Did you not note those who ascribe purity to themselves? No, it is God who purifies whom He wills, and they will not be wronged in the least.
450 See how they invent lies about God! And that is enough as a clear sin.It depends on what we do. I have stopped to judge someone based on their appearance. As long as we didn't do any lies about God, it's fine.
Peace

Do you think "quranist" muslims are error-free? or automatically go to paradise..
Judgement is for God right?
Peace..
I don't know what is sincere Sunni Muslim?.. They may look sincere like a mother to her child... Mother loves the child 99%... How can anyone be in the eyes of God sincere if they go agaisnt what God preached.. They may look sincere in our eyes by what they do... Suppose praying giving alms fasting helping relatives or you name it... But tell them that God's way is written in quran only and not in those hadith books... Then you will see how furious they are... Coz they love what they do.. Same any religious people who are sincere... Do you think those who are sincere in their own belief is showing off.. No.. They are devoted.. I am talking about true sincere followers of their own religion... But in God's eye non is sincere if they don't follow what God orders... Taking a hadith book itself for their guidance is already deviated from sincerity.. As human we may see they are good or even better than us... Coz of their commitment towards their belief.. But God is turning them down.. Quran verse are clear... Those who reject My verses their place is Fire... You will know whether they reject God's verses or not if you closely study what they do...
Good people are in every religion not only in Sunni or Shia ..merely good is not enough... I am afraid.. Really not enough... You need to accept God fully by not associating with Him.. So key ACCEPTANCE OF GOD + NOT ASSOCIATING... in this acceptance and not associating everything comprises...
As she says all quran only Muslims sincere.. Ensure whether we follow quran only... With God's guidance every one can perceive whether they are on right path or not... If God blinded them then that's the end.. -
But in God's eye non is sincere if they don't follow what God orders...
and what 'God orders' differs to what people believe.. and generally people believe what they believe because they sincerely believe it to be true.
So a sincere sunni muslim is subjective to who is judging.
Sarah - change the question around and self reflect; do you think you will go to paradise... why or why not?
-
And who is not being "sincere"?
Some learn to be sincere even if they fake it.
Some are always sincere even if they do not mean it.Or like this quote;
Nothing in all the world is more dangerous
than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.- Martin Luther King, Jr.
Or like this other quote;
It is not my place to doubt the sincere beliefs of others.
My job is to question my own beliefs.- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Anyway GOD knows the sincere ones. GOD is the only judge.
GOD bless you all.
Peace. -
Sister Sarah, this sums up what I think about people going to paradise or hell, quote
I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell - you see, I will have sincere friends in both places.
- Mark Twain
GOD bless you.

@Sarah Y,
I am not guaranteed paradise just for trying to follow the Qur'an. I am very flawed and can go to Hell. It's up to God. But at least I'm trying to not be a rejector or follow things the Qur'an teaches are falsehood. However, I remember being sunni and I know a lot of the time I believed that hadith are not false etc. it took me a long time to figure out they were not from God. I wasn't being a rejector in my opinion because I NEVER KNEW what I was following was false.
Perhaps sincere sunni muslims who DON'T KNOW the error of following hadith which are NOT from God (due to their corrupt nature) are not rejectors or partial rejector or perhaps not even classed as hypocrites and perhaps they can go to Heaven and avoid hell because
'Sahih International Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans - those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.' 262
And a different transaltion of the same verse
' Yusuf Ali Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.' 262But if a person KNOWINGLY knows that hadith are corrupt and NOT a law of God, how is that righteous? Or if they just follow what their parents told them and don't even care to find out the truth...it's not me who made the rule about not following hadith, it's God.
Also, the reason i'm asking about sunni Muslims is because I actually don't want sincere people who happened to be sunnis to go to hell. I was just unsure of the rulings. Just like I don't know if some atheists could go to heaven. They are difficult questions and that's why I'm asking them.

An 18th century Swedish dude named Emanuel Swedenborg pondered on the same issue.
This short video shows his conclusion
Do People Really Burn in Hell?
https//youtu.be/6dBNPsjqXasSome souls might not like a realm where there is no sense of feeling superior, pride, hatred, envy, enslaving, warring, torture and aggressiveness, thus they prefer to go to a realm where such feeling is abundance.
You are your own heaven or hell...
An example can also be seen on the internet or even this forum.
There used to be an ample of people spreading hatred and inviting people here to join ISIS, he doesn't received a positive response from most of the people here and choose, by his own will, to leave. Perhaps he found another group where he is more comfortable. -

Do you have a link to this? Really interested to check out that dude.

Peace Sara...
I can see and sense what you are up to is genuine... Hope I am not blinded....As per you, you were once a sunni Muslim and were unaware whether you were on wrong path but genuinely thought right.. Now you say you have stepped into right path... Now take the Example from you... What made you to change a way which you felt right to another.. Who promoted you to that.. What benefit you gained... Do you feel that it was good that you said goodbye to your sunni life.. Do you think you could do it on your own.. Or is it God that wanted to guide you... Doesn't the God know whom to guide...
"" He guides whom He wills and He misguides whom He wills.. ""
Why He says so... Is He Cherry picking? Just don't overly worry about those who not come to right path... Just keep passing message.. Let them decide.. Nothing else..
The verse you refer 262 is well known to those sincere Sunni Muslims... But they think that is possible if those Christians jews etc become Sunni Muslim only that works..
As I said.. Just relax... Keep searching truth.. Try to ensure that you have chosen the right path first and keep doing the good works...
That's why I long time open a topic.. I can't remember but it is like how can I be happy in heaven if my beloved are in hell... Somehow the one enter janna will be non other than happy.. So he would have realized those in hell deserve even how much they are closer to us or looked sincere... That Sums up.. God is just... -
On the topic of sincerity/honesty, I think it entails a degree of freedom of thinking; How can one be honest about their belief when they're held hostage by them ?
Similarly to that, if someone is addicted to the wrong thing, how can they start doing the right thing ?
In both cases the answer is to take back one's freedom ) -

How to stop from being 'longing to be superior' and 'wanting to control others'?
Just by (sincerely) wishing it...To that specific topic where that forum user invited people to join daesh.
It's on this forum, you can search for it, the posters appears about 7 to 8 years ago...
He claimed to be on the 'dawa' role for the ISIS, a Malaysian if i'm not mistaken.. -

Do you mean if a person knows that a hadith is corrupt and continues to follow it? It may not be righteous it may be comfort or what they know. It may be so many things. Not everyone is trying to figure things out. Depends what’s important to them. Besides it might work in their favour so why investigate. Moreover we all have our bias. Everyone’s spiritual paths are different..don’t forget to take into consideration all the brainwashing given to muslims being incompetent to study on their own.
Hadith can be spread beyond the traditional muslim hadiths you know.. people follow things not from God, prophets or holy men. Some traditional hadith have morals and cultural links. The problem I find is people equate it to God’s law and want to subjugate the whole society to it. Besides that it’s an interesting historical tool.
Also, the reason i'm asking about sunni Muslims is because I actually don't want sincere people who happened to be sunnis to go to hell. I was just unsure of the rulings. Just like I don't know if some atheists could go to heaven. They are difficult questions and that's why I'm asking them.
I’m not sure of the ruling, it depends who you ask and their interpretation. A label isn’t everything. Our hearts and our actions speak louder and only God knows our souls and the full extent of our sincerity and beliefs.

There is no 'wrong' or 'right', there is an option to choose..
How to stop from being 'longing to be superior' and 'wanting to control others'?
Just by (sincerely) wishing it...What is right is what is the closest to reason as possible, untainted by emotions, selfless (thus untainted by emotion),thoughtful, rational, done thoughtfully, intentionally and willingly.
What is wrong is simply what is unreasonable, emotional, impulsive, unthoughtful, irrational, self-serving, and is done under compulsion.
But to each their moral compass.
Second part is also wrong.
In order to bring about any real change then one will have to acquire the understanding of it, uncovering the reason behind it,"fixing" the way they perceive it. Having that understanding stamped in one's mind is what brings change. That is why we need to meditate on our actions and reflect constantly, in order to acquire a better understanding, an understanding closer to the perfect understanding, the one of our Creator peace

Peace...
What a silly and nonsensical and baseless statement that is which is super biased ....
Use your sense before submitting in such a forum where most are intelligent... That's so mean.....
"There is no wrong or right, option to choose" lol.. Where did you learn this? Or are you gone absolutely mad after rejecting the God and His book?Choose what dude? when there is no right or wrong? With what mindset to choose something... You think people are so illiterate to accept what you say...
Not only when it comes to quran but in everything people tempt to opt the right thing to their life except those who deviate from it...
People know what is right and wrong in general ... This right and wrong is imperative in life regardless of any faith... It's very fundamental and cannot be separate from human life..
Those who don't know right and wrong are save mentally illBut God's guidance is beyond mere right and wrong but clarification and verification to one's understanding...
I can understand how cheap your perception has demoralised ....
"" Can you guarantee the safety of people by following your way against the evil of day of Resurrection or you would say on that day I was in error so advised my way of error and escape... ""
