Advances in healthcare and nutrition have notably extended human lifespans in recent times. Interpretations of these religious texts vary, often taking non-literal approaches, for example the era of Noah lasted for 950 years before the era of Abraham stated etc.
Despite my faith's teachings, the skepticism of today's age leads to questions about such texts. On Judgment Day, if questioned by God, I'd express my trust in His wisdom for explanations beyond my era's understanding. My faith in the Quran and its teachings about a singular God and creator remains unshaken, providing a strong foundation for my beliefs amidst any uncertainties. -

I understand that it is the view of many millions of people when it comes to science and possibility of having 1k years of life span.. I don't blame anyone on that.. Cuz they believe in type so called science which is not science in true sense ... But science everyone should believe cuz real science is evidence based methodical way.. Many of the stories from the bible repeated slightly differently in Quran are just that "stories" That are meant to teach us knowledge wisdom and understanding. They are not to be taken literally. One lesson is While Noah's spiritual kinsfolk survives by riding on his Lifeboat, others fail to embark. His son despite the close kinship who thought there was another way perished with the rejecters and had become spiritually dead, they all drowned or where left behind by the overwhelming deluge of mental shallowness and worldly desires.
The Quran is an amazing text of guidance and can be the greatest Inspiration if approached as a teacher and not as a history book. Can someone live to be 950 years old nope no that is anatomically impossible.

In English if we say "All of the eggs are corrupted except 50" then I surrender and agree it is a right sentence.. But how many eggs are corrupted once counted knows it or if he already knew how many eggs were in store..

Prophet Nuh's age doesn't matter to us but the verse matters indeed.. If indeed prophet Nuh lived 950 years and people who call believers keeping hypocrocy in heart will always say otherwise cuz they don't want to deviate from scientific point of view or they don't want to get mocked.. Believer believes everything in Quran and never doubts but he explores with belief not with doubt. If I give an analogy for true believer it is like if an investigation officer observed a dead body and realized it is not natural death but murdered then there is a murderer attached to it and with that real faith he will hunt for the killer and not with doubt like "is body murdered or naturally died" not with confusion...

Just like the future , the past has its own time and space. The present always finds itself making a lot of.assumptions and guesses about the past like it does for the future.
Apart from some secure and accurate facts with clear evidence that we can clearly make about the past ,we have many missing information about it. The earlier the period the mora problems with lack of evidence.So it comes down to interpretation of the stories .And there are many different interpretations of many stories that one needs to unravel.
For us in the present only the moral of the story of the past and its lesson are important and beneficial.For me, I am entering my seven score years this year and I am running out of patience and energy for life in general. I know it is not up to me how long I live , but hats off to those who reach beyond the seventy and keep the life battle for many more years and stay sane.
Do not get me wrong I am thankful to the Lord for keeping me healthy and safe so far and I acknowledge that without my belief I would have gone mentally insane.
Hats off to Noah, however long after the seventy years he managed to carry on. I can easily hold the white flag before the century and ask my creator to release me from this ongoing battle even though I am enjoying the challenge so far. Well trying to as best I can.

The knowledgeable one not in necessity to empty his knowledge to learn but with his knowledge itself he realizes what others say.. Best example is magicians who came to defeat Musa.. They didn't empty the cup.. But they immediately realized what they were in was nothing in light of what Musa produced.. So they paved way to the truth leaving their falsehood.NOTE once realized and understood and got the guidance only cup should be emptied and not before just to fill their own whims into already emptied cup.. Rediculous.. Did Messengers went to his people and asked them to empty cup.. No.. They heralded the message of their Lord and let them reflect..
The reason Allah says He delivered the Quran gradually to strengthen the heart of prophet.. So the emptying process is gradual and not even before reading it..SO EASY.. EMPTY YOUR CUP AND FILL WHAT I SAY... that's brainwash.. That's why when children's minds are empty they easily brainwash and fill all nonsense.. Yet you speak as though you know for sure.I am saying that in my opinion, Noah s age like the shape of the earth has many different interpretations from different folks and it is not important to me that they differ..
The verse has used "Aam" and "Sana" why? I have not found your argument solid about the use of these two terms and even if you think it is, it is irrelevant and has nothing to do with guidance.That does not mean Noah did not live 950 years, however those who say this is far fetched are entitled to their take ,and I do not go calling them Hypocrites or not guided. Their conduct and morals are tested above these irrelevant information.
Give your take ,fair enough, but do not insist on your way even if others deny "your evidence". Has not many people denied GOD s evidence , and this comes with complete knowledge from the all knowledgeable?
Or do you not agree that the past is useful mainly for taking lessons from it about how to live and correct our ways and works?

So much is speculated about strange way of pronouncing numbers in Quran especially numbers after 100 and when the number is not exactly simple round numbers..
Quran has mentioned 1-10 and pronounced them.. And 11-20 only three numbers 11, 12 and 19.. And all other numbers are round numbers ending in zero digit except 99..
We never know the reason to call 1000 save 50 or 300 plus 9.. One possible reason could be that people never pronounced those numbers in words.. For example "Three hundred and Nine" or "Nine Hundred and Fifty" ..So no point of pronouncing in correct way by Allah while people still not familiar with such pronunciation .. Did they pronounce "Ninety Nine Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Nine " in Arabic ... I don't know.. Allah knows best.. So there could be a possible reason why Allah simplify and make them know what exactly 309 is or 950 is..
Look! QURAN has used Sana / Aama / Hawl to mean YEAR and no specific reason save synonym... But we don't know there was a system to pronounce other than extreme round numbers and notable numbers...
Just cuz of some unknown history, how can one deduce Sana means unproductive and Aama means productive...
They remained in cave 300 unproductive plus 9 hypocrites.. Wow.. What manipulation is that..

Very carelessly neglect.. They didn't at all stay in the cave according to scholar and it is not years but Productive + Hypocrites.. Wow.. Then what is 1811 ... Simply nonsensical... Nothing else to say..
So those who love science over Quran embrace such conjunction and claim Yeah.. No one can be alive in sleep for more than 300 years.. So Quran must have meant something else.. And when some scholar comes up with such translations they immediately fall prey to it cuz they were long doubting it.. So they feel they found an answer to it..
Anyway.. As I always say.. Seek guidance from Allah alone and don't doubt verses of Allah if you indeed believers...hypocrites and disbelievers only doubt the verses of Allah or manipulate..

Quran has never user any numeric ..all verses in Quran are in letters...That could probably mean numeric were not written but only pronounced in their own style.. Further.. When we look at geometrical value chart of Arabic letters, they have given all 28 letters value 1-10 and 20-100 and 200-1000 ... So it seems numerics were not in use.. That's a point to reflect too..

so he watched his loved ones die and lived long lonely life ...btw al-injeel is not the bible, if you say it is , please proof this via the Quran
