    Brother Emre.

Mary ,the mother of Jesus was brought up by Zaccariah. Who was he? Which generation? Did he exist during the same time as Moses and Aaron?

God has chosen Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of Amram (as messengers) to the people.
    إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصطَفىٰ ءادَمَ وَنوحًا وَءالَ إِبرٰهيمَ وَءالَ عِمرٰنَ عَلَى العٰلَمينَ
They belong to the same progeny. God is Hearer, Omniscient.
    ذُرِّيَّةً بَعضُها مِن بَعضٍ وَاللَّهُ سَميعٌ عَليمٌ
The wife of Amram said, "My Lord, I have dedicated (the baby) in my belly to You, totally, so accept from me. You are Hearer, Omniscient."
When she gave birth to her, she said, "My Lord, I have given birth to a girl" - God was fully aware of what she bore - "The male is not the same as the female. I have named her Mary, and I invoke Your protection for her and her descendants from the rejected devil."
Her Lord accepted her a gracious acceptance, and brought her up a gracious upbringing, under the guardianship of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah entered her sanctuary he found provisions with her. He would ask, "Mary, where did you get this from?" She would say, "It is from God. God provides for whomever He chooses, without limits."
    The Birth of Yahia
That is when Zachariah implored his Lord "My Lord, grant me such a good child; You are the Hearer of the prayers."
    هُنالِكَ دَعا زَكَرِيّا رَبَّهُ قالَ رَبِّ هَب لى مِن لَدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَميعُ الدُّعاءِ
The angels called him when he was praying in the sanctuary "God gives you good news of Yahia; a believer in the word of God, honorable, moral, and a righteous prophet."
He said, "How can I have a boy, when I am so old, and my wife is sterile?" He said, "God does whatever He wills."
He said, "My Lord, give me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three days, except through signals. Commemorate your Lord frequently; and meditate night and day."

Mary and Jesus, like Zaccariah and Yahia existed during the same generation and time. No mention of Aaron and Moses in this story.

Moses and Aaron were from the same lineage and existed before that.
Mary was a sister from the same lineage. It is irrelevant whether Aaron and Moses were priests or messengers. They were descendants from the same family . That is all "sister of Aaron" points to and means.

But keep insisting on your error of mixing up the generations if you wish.
It does not matter to me , I am just pointing out to you that the guardian of Mary Zaccariah was from a different generation than Moses and Aaron. Hence Mary too.
    GOD bless you.
    Peace.

      Brother Emre.

      Brother Good Logic,

You continue in your false belief and insistence on confusing generations

I did not say that Mary did not live in the time of Zechariah. There is nothing here that confirms your belief.

The false Bible has taught you history and chronology wrongly. You can't get rid of your Christian past.

These people lived much further back in time than you've been told. And they lived in the same age as Moses and Aaron. After all, Mary is the sister of Moses and Aaron. Jesus is their nephew.

In the Qur'an, one verse does not have to mention the other persons. You should read the whole book and evaluate the whole book in its entirety.

David and Solomon lived after them.

      Peace

        Peace...

One straight forward answer from me according to Quran is MARYAM is SISTER of HARUN who is BROTHER of MUSA.. If anyone not in a position to accept this glaring proof of Quran they have two reasons as under..
1..... Harun means not a name and Sister Here means not biological sister....
2.... Harun is not that Harun.. Lol I mean Harun here is not Musa's brother but just another Harun by same name..

Well.. all these they can accept but they can't accept Maryam was Sister of Prophet Harun.. Cuz.. Cuz.. They are indoctrinated to think Musa was 1000 years before Mohamed and Isa was 500 plus years before as Gregory and Hijri calendar indicates.. Well.. Let them be in their own perception... But Allah will guide who seeks..

        Additionally... Notice the fact that

1.... Zakaria lived with Maryam while she was most probably an (orphan) little girl ... And at the same time Zakaria was very old...

2... Seriously note that this same Zakaria made a suplication to Allah after seeing Maryam for himself also his own child.. And stated about YAQUB... now don't tell me that this YAQUB is also not the Prophet Yaqub who is grandson of Ibrahim... Question is why did Zakaria took the name of YAQUB ... verse 196
"Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Yaqub and make him, my Lord, pleasing "
Yes.. Above is Prophet Zakaria's statement ... Why would Zakaria take the name of Yaqub who according to historical analysis lived thousands of years before Zakaria... Nope.. Yaqub is not more than grand father of Zakaria...All are very close-by...

3.... Note well... Maryam was under Zakrias custody when she was a little girl... But when Musa was hidden in a box and let it float in a river Musa's sister was too a little girl but matured enough to go up to Pharoa family and inform them shrewdly as instructed to show a feeding mother.. So that girl cannot possibly be Maryam since Maryam is under custody of Zakaria but that girl was with her mother that is to say with the mother of Musa and not under anyone's custody.. .. It's obvious ... So it seems AALA imran had at least four children.. Formost well and truly Harun then that sister and then Musa and very late Maryam and she became an orphan ... And Maryam's mother really wanted her last child also to serve for Allah's service probably like her male children Harun and Musa.. But she didn't mind Maryam being a female..
Allah knows the best.. But QURAN verse Maryam being called Sister of Harun cannot be taken lightly and neglect just cuz history states otherwise ...

Yes many Messengers would have come after Musa.. Cuz it is for Bani Israel.. It's mercy.. How many they killed we don't know.. But Isa is not far from Musa save few decades. Even prophet Mohamed not far from Isa...
Addressing Bani Israels in Quran has a valid reason.. And addressing people of the scripture also has a valid reason... This prophet Mohamed didn't come to Mecca but to where Banee Israels and people of the book were and where Ummis also lived.. That's my take..

        @emere..
Zabur... Well you have no proof to say Zabur came after Isa.. Perhaps it is.. First of all.. We don't know what Zabur is.. Is it really a book..? Three times mentioned in entire Quran.. But can't deduce that it is book though it seems.. What was given to Dawood cannot be considered as scripture.. It could be anything.. Even if Zabur means a scripture, Quran or Injeel or Torah doesn't need to confirm it.. Cuz.. Torah came to banee Israel and surrounding people so did Injeel and Quran also came to this same people banee Israel and people of previous scriptures and for Ummis and Allah made it a guidance for all anyway... Just Cuz QURAN doesn't confirm Zabur, you can't say it came later.. Significant point though, Quran doesn't confirm any other scriptures but only Torah and Injeel.. Similarly injeel confirms only Torah which came before it.. Cuz these books confirms, since it was revealed to Banee Israel and people of the scripture and Ummis... No need to confirm any other book which is not relevant to that area.. I don't see any connection of Dawood and Sulaiman and Ayyub etc etc with Banee Israel.. Injeel doesnt need to confirm a book which was revealed to some other region and about which people of the book and banee Israel has no idea..
The reason Quran confirms Torah and Injeel is cuz it is relevant to that people and area..
So don't think Zabur has any connection here.. Yes.. Dawood and Sulaiman could be after or before Isa but not where they lived and not relevant with Banee Israel.. If any glaring proof Sulaiman also of banee Israel pls substantiate..

This Islam No. 2 with all inventions of hadith would have come 1500 years before but not QURAN.. Quran came soon after Injeel ie just within few decades ... Banee Israel is proof for that.. Centuries old people cannot be called banee Israel forever.. Nonsense..

          Peace Jkhan;

The Qur'an confirms all the holy books, including the books revealed to Abraham and other prophets. In short, it confirms all the previous ones. And these old books are no longer available.

2136 Say "We believe in God and in what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord; we do not make a distinction between any of them and to Him we submit."

4163 We have inspired you as We had inspired Noah and the prophets after him. And We had inspired Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and Jesus, and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon; and We gave David the Zabur. ((David, Solomon and Zabur are mentioned in the last place, i.e. closest to us in time)

The main issue on this site, among the most ignorant online, is users' laziness and struggle to read or comprehend, not to mention their writing resembling preteen girls' texting.

The verse does not say that others are figurative. He says that all the verses are in the plain first meaning. But it says that some verses have secondary and tertiary meanings besides their obvious primary meaning. Those who have diseases in their hearts try to accept the symbolic meaning by denying the obvious first meaning.

These methods are like saying "this is metaphorical" to a verse you don't like and deny it in a masked way. And then you try to show the symbolic meaning of the verse as the primary meaning. This cruelty is practiced by many people.

              Peace,

You are entitled to your interpretation of the verse as it suits you my brother.
The verse is given as a guideline to disseminate which verses are for our daily lives
and stories from which we can draw knowledge wisdom and understanding.

                Peace Hawk; I also have an article on this subject;

The Qur'an is not a book of symbols

The Qur'an repeatedly emphasizes that it contains clear verses

Surah al-Ma'idah 15 O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you. He makes clear to you much of what you have hidden from the Book, and passes over much of it. Verily, there has come to you a light from Allah and a clear Book.

Surah Yusuf Surah 1 Elif, Lâm, Râ. These are the verses of that clear and illuminated Book.

Surah Shu'ara 2 Here are the verses of the Book that make the truth clear to you.

The Qur'an is not a book of secrets and symbols, but a clear book that everyone can understand and that contains one-to-one real information. And this applies to all its verses. That's why we can read it directly and as the only source without the need for intermediaries, so-called holy people and so on.

The Qur'an is also the sole explanatory source of the Qur'an. If you read the book in its entirety and in its first clear meaning, you will see that the necessary details are given

Surah Al-Baqarah 242 This is how Allah explains His signs to you, in the hope that you may use your minds.

Surat al-An'am 46 Say "Imagine, if Allah were to take away your hearing and your eyes and seal your hearts, which god besides Allah will restore them to you?" See how We explain the verses in various ways, yet they turn away!

Surah Al-Nur 18 Allah explains the verses to you in detail. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Surat al-Baqarah 118 Those who lack knowledge said "What if Allah had spoken to us, or a sign had come to us?" And those before them said as they said, and their hearts were alike, and We have explained the verses well for those who want to know the truth clearly.

                THE APOCALYPSE

                1. It is for us to collect it and recite it.

                2. So when We recite it, you watch its recitation.

                3. Then it will be for us to explain it.

A subject or expression that is explained in one Surah can be explained in the same Surah, or it can be explained in other Surahs. Therefore, as we have said, it is essential to read the book in its entirety.

In fact, if all the verses of the Qur'an did not have the first clear meaning, there would be no religion at all. Then everyone would be able to form a religion according to their own minds. People would believe in the verses they like and call the verses they don't like "symbolic" and practice masked denial. And they would try to present the verse they declared symbolic as a religion by attributing meanings of their own invention to it. In other words, there would be no book, everyone would see what they wanted to see in the verses and establish their own religion, and intermediaries and clerics would be needed to interpret the book.

But thank God, our Lord has sent His book in a way that is easy and clear for everyone to understand. What is described in the verses is the exact truth and the Quran is complete in the field of religion.

By the way, let me answer 2 things that those who try to object to this issue try to put forward

There are those who try to claim that some verses do not have clear meanings, citing the use of colloquial expressions in the Qur'an as an example. But in fact, these idioms are also used in clear dictionary meanings, and again, they are clear that even a small child can understand them easily and the same as everyone else. For example, when we say "the sun borning/rises", everyone understands that this means that it is daytime. Again, there is no symbol or secret. Or expressions such as "the hand of Allah", "clinging to the rope of Allah" are also in the primary, dictionary meaning.

Or the phrase "to be darkened in the face" again has a clear dictionary meaning.

Apart from that, if the Qur'an is going to explain something by comparing it to something else, it makes that clear, and it gives what it is comparing it to. With expressions such as "This is like that, this is like the example of that", the Qur'an not only shows that it is making a comparison, but also explains what it is comparing what to what.

In one verse, after saying, "Do you know what a steep slope is?", he says, "That slope is freeing slaves", explaining that he likens freeing slaves to a slope. If he is making a simile, he explains it

                MUNICIPALITY

                1. But he was not thrown on the steep slope.

                2. How do you know what a steep slope is?

                3. It is to untie a captive neck (to free a slave).

14, 15, 16. Or feeding an orphan who is close to him on a day of severe hunger, or a poor person who is crawling on the ground.

Let us give examples of verses where such analogies are used

Surah Al-Baqarah 74 Then after that your hearts hardened again, and it is like a stone, perhaps even harder, and there are some stones from which rivers gush forth, and there are some stones which split open and water comes out of them, and there are some which fall down for fear of Allah, and Allah is not heedless of what you do.

Surah Yunus Surah 27 And those who do evil will be recompensed in proportion to their evil deeds. But their faces will be covered with humiliation. There is no one to save them from Allah. It is as if their faces are covered with darkness from the parts of the night. These are the companions of the Fire. They will abide in it forever.

Surah Al-Hajj 31 And as believers, associating no partners with Allah He who associates partners with Allah is as if he had fallen from the sky and the birds snatch him up, or as if the wind had blown him away.

Or do you think that most of them hear and reason and think? They are like animals, even more bewildered than animals in their way.

Here, too, it is clearly explained exactly what is likened to what. So again there is no unknown, no secret-symbol. The verse gives one-to-one information. Their interpretation does not change from person to person, because again the verses are clearly given in the first sense.

Now let us come to the verse that those who try to attribute symbolic meanings to the verses and try to shape the religion the way they want it to be, try to present as a basis

                ALI IMIRAN

7- He has revealed this Book to you. Some of its verses are clear (muhkam), which are the essence of the Book. Others have a similar meaning (mutashabih). Those whose hearts are diseased go after those with similar meanings in order to mislead people and give them different meanings. No one knows their true meaning, except God and those with deep knowledge who say, "We believe in it, it is from our Lord." None take admonition except those who have understanding and wisdom.

Those who want to interpret the verses as they please claim that this verse means that parts of the Book are symbolic.

But in reality, it does not say that some of the verses are metaphorical and some are symbolic, that is, you can believe in what you want and disbelieve in what you want, or that you can accept the verse where it suits you and say "no, it is symbolic" where it does not suit you. THIS VERSE ALSO SAYS THAT ALL VERSES HAVE A CLEAR AND PRIMARY MEANING, BUT THAT SOME VERSES HAVE SECONDARY AND TERTIARY MEANINGS BESIDES THEIR PRIMARY AND OBVIOUS MEANINGS, AND THAT UNBELIEVERS WILL DENY THE OBVIOUS MEANING OF THE VERSES AND GO AFTER THESE SYMBOLIC MEANINGS.

Otherwise, if it were as the symbolists say, there would be no source at all, and everyone would go after their own fabrications.

All verses have the first clear meaning. First we accept this and consider the book as a whole. Then we will do some mental gymnastics on whether some verses have other secondary or tertiary meanings besides this clear first meaning. But first of all, we must have faith in the first clear meaning of those verses too. Otherwise, only Allah knows which verse has other meanings besides its original meaning and what those meanings are. People can only do mental gymnastics with imprecise statements such as "this verse may also have this meaning".

Unfortunately, many people today have the disease of denying the clear meaning of verses and attributing representative meanings to them in order to have their values and teachings confirmed by the book. This is nothing but an indirect or masked denial of the teaching of the Qur'an. Some people try to distort the plain meaning of clear verses by attributing symbolic meanings to paradise and hell, or to angels or jinns. Again, in this way, they may try to make things that are there in the verses appear to be absent and things that are not there appear to be there. In fact, this is how every book and every doctrine is validated. Because once something is said to be symbolic, it can be taken in any direction.

Therefore, we will read the Qur'an, which is the clear and only religious source, in its clear-first meaning and in its entirety. Then the true Islam in the Qur'an will be easily revealed, and the understanding of religion will not vary from person to person.

                Greetings and love.

By the way, let me move my main article on the subject here

Jesus was the nephew of Prophets Moses and Aaron

And the Joshua of the False Torah is actually Jesus himself.

As the title of my article indicates, Prophet Jesus lived in a much older period than is believed, and as stated in the verses of the Qur'an, he was the nephew of Prophets Moses and Aaron. In other words, they lived in the same period. Of course, if Jesus lived a very long life, it means that he continued his adventure in the world for a long time after them.

As it is known, there is a Mary mentioned in the altered Torah we have, and her father's name is Imran, and her brothers' names are Moses and Aaron.

                  https//tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miryam

In the Qur'an, Mary is the daughter of Imran. We also see that in one verse she is addressed as "O sister of Aaron"

"O sister of Aaron! Your father was not an evil person. Nor was your mother unchaste." (19/2

Although this expression can also mean "descendant of Aaron". But here we are told that Mary was really Aaron's sister.

And in the false Torah on the market, Jesus, the nephew of Moses, is also mentioned. But his name is more commonly known as Joshua

                  https//tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ye%C5%9Fu

"Joshua (or Joshua) (Hebrew יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshua; Greek Ἰησοῦς same as Jesus; Latin Josue or Jesus; Arabic يشع بن نون Joshua ibn Nun),"

As Wikipedia says, Joshua is already clearly spelt and read as "Jesus" in Greek and Latin.

In other words, there was no separate person named Joshua, as Christians and Jews think.

                  Joshua is Jesus himself.

Of course, as I mentioned, Jesus may have been a very long-lived person, and although he lived during the time of Moses, he may have continued his journey in the world life for a long time after him. In this case, it means that he was a guest in the world for centuries, just like Prophet Noah.

And Maryam is, of course, the sister of Aaron and Moses.

"O sister of Aaron! Your father was not an evil person. Nor was your mother unchaste." (Surah Maryam 2.

Ali Imran 50 "I am the verifier of that which is before me from the Torah, and I will make lawful for you some of what has been forbidden to you, and I have brought you a sign from your Lord. So beware of Allah and obey me."

What Jesus was referring to here were the prohibitions in the real Torah. That is to say, things that were actually lawful were made unlawful for the time being, and this punishment should be directed only against the guilty community. Those prohibitions were probably only a temporary punishment for one generation because of the sins of the Jews. And here Jesus must be giving good news that his children and grandchildren will not have to suffer the same punishment for the offence committed by that community. After all, why should the special prohibitions given to punish that Jewish community be applied for centuries to their descendants or to other communities who later became believers? That is why shortly after the Torah was presented to mankind, Jesus transmitted the Gospel to mankind and announced that these punitive prohibitions were no longer in force (Of course, we are talking about the original, not the fake Gospels, i.e. hadith books, that are now on the market).

Surah Al-Anam 146 We have forbidden to the Jews all hoofed animals, and We have also forbidden them the fat of cattle and sheep, except the fat of the backs and intestines of cattle and sheep and the fat mixed with the bones. We did this to them as a punishment for their transgression. Surely We are the keepers of Our word.

These criminal prohibitions are, as I said, the prohibition in the Torah of clean things that are normally lawful only for the guilty community. However, their future children and grandchildren are not guilty of any offence in this matter, nor are those who converted to the religion later on, or those from other societies. In this context, it seems plausible that after the Torah came the Gospel, or after Moses came Jesus with a new book, and that there were no such centuries between them.

And if this is the case, then shortly after these prohibitions, during his prophethood, Prophet Jesus announced that these prohibitions were abolished and that all clean blessings were now lawful for the Jews as well, in line with the statement in the verse (Ali Imran 50.)...

By the way, after researching foreign sources, some people have realised that the prophet Joshua could actually be Jesus.

                  http//www.eliyah.com/nameson.htm

Some of the researchers who recognise Jesus and Joshua as the same person also claim that he was the famous ruler Tutankhamun.

When we analyse whether there is a connection between Jesus and Moses in today's false Gospels (which are actually books of hadith), we can see the following

Matthew Chapter 17 Jesus' appearance changes

                  (Mar 92-13; Luke 928-36)

"After six days Jesus went up on a high mountain, taking with Him only Peter and James and James' brother John. 2. There, before their eyes, Jesus' appearance changed. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light. 3. At that moment Moses and Elijah appeared to the disciples. They were talking to Jesus".

Of course, let us remind you again that the books called Gospels, Psalms or Torah that are currently on the market are human-written books of hadith. That is, they are not the real ones.

The Qur'an already states that they hid their true books

Surah Al-An'am 91 They could not recognise Allah in a manner worthy of His glory. For they said, "Allah has not revealed anything to man". Say "Who sent down the Book which Moses brought to mankind as a light and a guide? And you bring forth that Book in scrolls, and you keep many of them hidden. You have been taught what neither you nor your fathers knew." Say, "Allah", then let them play in the mire in which they are mired.

Say "We believe in Allah and in that which has been sent down to us, and in that which was sent down to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and his descendants, and that which was given to Moses and Jesus, and that which was given to the other Prophets. We are only those who submit to Him/Allah."

Notice that in this verse, the name of Prophet Jesus is mentioned right after Moses...

Remember when We sent to them two men, but they denied them. Then We supported them with a third person. They had said "We are the messengers sent to you!" (Surah Yasin, verse 14).

There are examples of more than one messenger being sent in the same or nearby period and place...

In short, this means that we are faced with another miracle of the Qur'an and it provides us with the following information

1- The Qur'an shows that the 2 different Marys mentioned in the false Torah and Gospels in the market are actually the same person.

2- The Qur'an is the only one that has shown that the Prophets Joshua and Jesus, who are thought to be different people in the altered Torah and Gospels, are actually the same person (there is no separate name called Joshua anyway...).

In other words, although there is an excerpt from the life story of Jesus in the false Torah, not many people realise this because of the error of the name and the partial alteration of the story.

But thanks to the Qur'an, we have learnt this fact.

3- We understand from the Qur'anic verses that Prophet Jesus was the nephew of Prophets Moses and Aaron, and that he was born in a much older age than is known.

4- We can conclude that the time between the transmission of the true Torah and the Gospel to mankind was not as long as it is believed.

5- We can also reach the possibility that Prophet Jesus may have lived a very long life in our world, contrary to the general belief.

By the way, let us remember that all the prophets are currently living in the Hereafter Universe called the Lord's Floor (so Prophet Jesus, like all the other messengers, is already living in paradise)

                  http//emre1974tr.blogspot.com.tr/2016/05/goklerevrenler.html

Furthermore, the following verse suggests that Jesus may have married and had children on earth, just like the other prophets

-And We sent messengers before you, and We gave them wives and children, and no messenger can bring any miracle except by the permission of Allah. There is a writing for every period of time (Surat al-Rad, verse 3.

Of course, the birth of Prophet Jesus may also coincide with the period after the exodus of Moses and Aaron from Egypt with their people.

6- This explains the origin of legends dating back thousands of years before Christ, which overlap with the life of Jesus. Since Jesus was born in a much older age than is believed, characters with a life story similar to his have appeared from that time to the present day, but with different names. For example Osiris and Horus... In other words, the story of Jesus was not taken from them, as some people think, but on the contrary, since Jesus lived much earlier, their story was taken from the life of the prophet. But of course, unfortunately, they deified the prophet and turned him into a shirk legend which they worshipped, and Christianity is based on a modified pagan version of this story.

Speaking of the miracles of the Qur'an and ancient Egypt during the time of the Prophet Moses, let us share a new observation (a few people made this observation a few years ago)

2838 Whereupon Pharaoh said O you nobles! I did not know that you could have any deity other than myselfWell, then, O Haman, kindle me a fire for clay, and then build me a lofty tower, that haply I may have a look at the god of Moses although, behold, I am convinced that he is of those who tell lies!"

From the verse, we understand that the rulers of the ancient Egyptian civilisation used baked clay in their important constructions.

And for centuries, researchers and geologists interested in this ancient Egyptian civilisation thought that the Egyptian pyramids were built by cutting limestone from a nearby quarry and transporting it up ramps. But today, electron microscopes have revealed that the upper blocks have chemistry found nowhere else in nature. These upper blocks were baked and then poured like modern cement, that is, they were not cut from existing limestone. In other words, it turned out that some of the stones that made up the pyramids were made of baked clay/mud. And nobody knew this until today, it was a construction technique that the pharaohs kept secret from other civilisations...

The mystery in the pyramids has recently been solved and this discovery confirmed the information given in verse 38 of Surah Kasas. In the ancient Egyptian civilisation, baked mud was indeed used in the construction of important structures.

                    Peace Jkhan;

                    Salam.. Brother Emere..

Yes.. I do absolutely know we are to believe in all previous books as verse 2285 rightly states but Isa came and confirmed Torah and pointed out what they hid and similarly Quran came and confirmed both Torah and Injeel and pointed out most what they concealed.. Quran or injeel didn't come and address anyone one else and pointed out what they hid... You know what I mean and needless to extend to a debate..
I and you believe what is revealed to Nuh or people of Hud or salih Shoib Ibrahim Lut etc etc.. And needless to know what is written in them..just believe.. Just don't compare that to what is confirming .. Indeed Quran literally confirms the history of all messengers even they were mentioned it not..it's part of faith.. This confirmation is literally meant directly to people who held the scriptures of Torah and Injeel a d QURAN.. But I have no objection to your way of perceiving.. But truth is one.. Let's seek it..

                    Thank you...

                      Peace Emre.

                      You say , Quote
""O sister of Aaron! Your father was not an evil person. Nor was your mother unchaste." (19/2

Although this expression can also mean "descendant of Aaron". But here we are told that Mary was really Aaron's sister."

How can you claim that we are told that Mary was REALLY THE SISTER of Aaron?
Do you mean it is clarified elsewhere in Qoran? Where?
So it could mean just "descendant of Aaron, let me give a clear example from Qoran about the clarification

1- Qoran uses " My brother Aaron" this is Moses saying it
2- The clarification that Aaron is the real brother of Moses comes in another verse where Aaron calls Moses "Son of my mother"
In this case one is right to claim that Aaron is the real brother of Moses.
Not so in the case of Aaron and Meriem/Mary.

Anyway , like I said to all those who give different interpretations according to their understanding, the evidence will have to be strong and consistent with all other verses in Qoran on the subject.
I do not see this from your article.

I agree that some historical information may be false ,biased or wrong ,but in the case of Moses and Jesus there exists some consistency of facts that their eras were centuries apart under different civilisations.

                      GOD bless you.
                      Peace.

                        Peace.

The history taught is dramatically wrong, my friend.

Unfortunately, I see that you are still under the influence of the false Bible in this regard.

And it's almost as if turning to the truth about it gives you a jolt.

There is none of the evidence you are talking about, there is really nothing in the false Bible that supports history/chronology. Because it is, as the name implies, a book of hadiths written by man.

In contrast, the Qur'an, which contains the words of God, gives the real history and the real chronology, as you can see.

By the way, according to the Bible, the sister of Moses is Mary. The name of Moses' nephew is Jesus (Joshua). Again, Mary's and Moses' father's name is Imran. Joshua's mother's name was Mary.

And the Holy Koran confirms this. The life of the person mentioned there is Jesus(Isa,Joshua) himself.

But later in the Bible, Joshua is again treated as if he were a different person, and in the false Gospels in a fabricated way. Jesus, who lived in much earlier times, is then added again(New Testament). And the chronology is completely perverted.

                        Peace

You are making more assumptions as we are going along in this conversation, where did I even mention the bible?
Read my posts again, I am asking you some useful questions and using only Qoran so far.Unfortunately you are not answering any of my points used from Qoran.
I think you are going to continue and insist that you are right and you continue to ignore what I say to you.

I was trying to make you reflect on your view and not just keep making assumptions and mix generations.
In my opinion you are making Qoran say what it does not say or confirm. But your choice.
                            Thank you for the conversation.

                              Peace Emre.
                              You a you.

                              Peace Good Logic;

Everything you are talking about is based on the Bible and its false history. You couldn't write me anything else.

I am answering you from the Quran.

It is your choice to persist in your error and ignore the evidence. I hope that one day you will be able to give up this behaviour.

                              Salaam

                                Peace.

                                Peace GL...

Very unfortunate... So.. For you DECENDANT of Harun is fine and not SISTER of Harun...

That clarifies manifestly what's in your preconceived mind.. What makes you leave clear word of SISTER and take it as DECENDANT ? ...so...unfortunately your mind is NOT allowing to accept Quran's truth but history... You have given priority to history and based on that you are judging Quran and not within Quran.. Even how much you attempt to say No.. It is not.. You don't realize it.. Emere is right in a way.. You have occupied your mind to something else...
People have problem to accept Maryam as Sister of Harun not cuz verses of Quran not clear but theur minds are filled with fabricated history... That's so unfortunate... I wonder even if the verse states "O sister of Musa " people would say not the same musa OR DECENDANT of musa OR something out of their mind cuz mind is preconceived with falsehood..

It's not invention we are talking about... It's Quran verse...
Lol.. Where in Quran it is written ukhta means DECENDANT? you want to accept which has no proof but glaring proof you decline.
Anyway... I am not compelling brother... If it sounds we are compelling, extremely sorry... But I know you all believe in Quran alone... So keep exploring... Leave the guidance to Allah alone.. Leave the falsehod by allowing Allah to enter to your way...
                                Thank you...

                                  Peace jkhan.

Again, why are you assuming for me what I quoted from Emre?

                                  My take is this
Sister of Aaron can be a real sister/ brother or from the same root family or from the same faith i.e believer .

Believers are "Ikhwatun" which means brothers and sisters with each others also according to Qoran.
So I am saying neither you nor brother Emre have given a convincing view.

Qoran often clarifies for us with other verses. In the case of "sister of Aaron" there are no other verses that clarify YOUR understanding.
And if you both insist it means "real sister" of Aaron, then I disagree with you because of the context of many verses that highlight other people in their generations . Mary and Aaron lived in different eras with different people and civilisation. . I have given you examples from Qoran why I do.
                                  GOD bless you.
                                  Peace.

The perspective that Jesus was a nephew of Moses does not align with the historical or scriptural evidence presented by Islamic, Christian, or Jewish traditions. The Quran, the Bible, and historical chronology clearly place Moses (Musa) and Jesus (Isa) in vastly different periods, with several centuries separating their lives. Here's a clarification based on Islamic scripture and historical context

                                    Chronological Evidence
Moses lived in the period of ancient Egypt's New Kingdom, traditionally placed by religious scholars and historians in the 13th century BCE, during the time of the Pharaohs. His mission, as detailed in both the Quran and the Bible, involves leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Jesus, according to Christian tradition and Islamic scripture, was born in the 1st century CE, specifically around 4 BCE to 1 CE, under Roman rule in Judea. This places him roughly 1300 to 1500 years after the time of Moses.

                                    Quranic Evidence
The Quran mentions Moses and Aaron together in several surahs (chapters), discussing their mission to Pharaoh and the Israelites, with no indication that they are contemporaries of Jesus and Mary. For instance, Surah Ash-Shu'ara (2623-66) recounts the story of Moses confronting Pharaoh and leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Conversely, Surah Maryam (19) focuses on Mary and the birth of Jesus, emphasizing the miraculous nature of Jesus's birth and Mary's chastity. The narrative and miracles associated with Jesus, such as speaking from the cradle (1929-33), clearly indicate a different time and context from that of Moses and Aaron.

                                    Theological Context
Islamic theology, based on the Quran, views prophets as being sent to different peoples and times, with messages relevant to their specific contexts. While the Quran does not provide exact dates, it articulates a sequence of prophethood that places Moses and Aaron among the earlier prophets, with Jesus appearing much later as one of the last prophets before Muhammad.

                                    Genealogical and Historical Impossibility
Given the historical timelines and the Quranic narratives, it is genealogically and historically impossible for Jesus to be the nephew of Moses. Such a claim disregards the clear chronological and contextual evidence presented in Islamic scripture and historical records.
In summary, while the Quran teaches respect for all prophets and emphasizes the continuity of monotheistic message through different eras, it clearly distinguishes between the times and missions of Moses and Jesus. The idea of Jesus being a nephew of Moses is not supported by the Quran, historical evidence, or the established traditions of Islam, Christianity, or Judaism.

"Sister of Aaron" is used figuratively rather than literally, indicating Mary's piety and possibly her Levitical lineage, as Aaron was a figure associated with priesthood and devotion in Jewish tradition.

While our discussions often gravitate towards intriguing aspects of the Quran, such as the interpretation of verse 1928 or the longevity of Noah, it's imperative to remember the overarching purpose and guidance the Quran provides. Even if, on the Day of Judgment, it is revealed that Noah lived 950 years or that Jesus is considered a nephew of Moses, what fundamental difference would that make to our faith's essence? Would such details determine our fate, or suggest that individuals like GL, HAWK, and myself, who seek to understand and interpret the Quran through a different lens, are doomed? It's crucial to acknowledge that the criteria with Allah extend far beyond these specifics. We are not rejecting the Quran; rather, we are engaging with it earnestly, seeking understanding and interpretations that resonate with our quest for spiritual and ethical guidance. The Quran is replete with teachings on justice, compassion, unity, and the oneness of Allah—principles meant to navigate us through life. Let's focus our energy on how these teachings can shape a just, compassionate society, and help us embody the values Allah has laid out for us. Labeling individuals as unfortunate for exploring diverse interpretations overlooks the Quran's broader message of guidance, mercy, and understanding. Let us embrace the diversity of thought within our community, focusing on the essence of the Quranic message and how it applies to bettering ourselves and the world around us.

By the way, I have a friend at work, someone I've known for a long time, whose family name is Ajami. Knowing he is of pure Arab descent, I once curiously asked him about the origins of his distinct family name, as "Ajami" traditionally means "non-Arab" or "foreigner" in Arabic. He shared with me a fascinating piece of his family's history.
Long before, the chief of his tribe had a problem with his tongue, making it difficult for him to pronounce words clearly. This speech impediment made him sound different, almost as if he had a foreign tongue, to those within his own community. As a result, people began to refer to him as "Ajami," a term which, in this context, could be interpreted as "the mute" or someone whose mother tongue was not Arabic. This unique characteristic of the chief became a defining trait of his lineage.
Over time, this appellation not only stuck but also became a source of identity for his descendants. It's intriguing to see how this personal trait of an ancestor transformed into a proud family name, carrying the legacy of their forebear. I've even witnessed other Arab friends refer to my colleague in his absence, asking, "Where has the son of Ajami gone?" This way of referencing him links back to his tribal lineage and the notable story of his ancestor.
This anecdote is a testament to how names and titles have historically been imbued with significance, often derived from personal traits, occupations, or notable events. Such practices are not uncommon, echoing the way individuals are often identified in religious and historical texts, like the "sister of Aaron," highlighting the importance of familial and communal connections. It's a beautiful reminder of how our names can carry stories of our heritage, identity, and the enduring legacy of our ancestors.

In addition, The Quranic reference to Mary as the "sister of Aaron" in Surah 1928 indeed comes from people addressing Mary, questioning her purity and the miraculous birth of Isa (Jesus). This phrasing reflects the societal reaction to Mary's situation rather than a direct divine statement about her lineage or identity. In the Quran, divine affirmations concerning Mary, her purity, and the miraculous birth of Jesus are conveyed without specifically using the term "sister of Aaron" in God's voice. The Quran narrates these divine proclamations and descriptions through various means, including dialogue with angels and direct statements, to highlight Mary's esteemed status and the miraculous nature of Jesus's birth. For example, Surah 342 (Aal-E-Imran) where God chooses Mary, stating, "O Mary, indeed God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds," showcases her exalted position without referencing her as the "sister of Aaron." Similarly, the announcement of Jesus's birth in Surah 345-47 presents a divine message of glad tidings to Mary about her son, emphasizing his distinguished status without employing the familial descriptor used by her contemporaries in Surah 1928.
These passages affirm Mary's virtue and the miraculous conception of Jesus, demonstrating the Quran's layered narrative style. This approach allows the text to convey deep respect and acknowledgment of Mary's role and the significance of Jesus's birth, employing varied voices and perspectives to unfold the narrative.

Lastly I want to draw attention to the verse 1822 where God is asking people not to waste their time in knowing the numbers but focus on the essence of message Hence, lets not indulge similarly as these folks are mentioned.
"Coming to the present time, instead of remembering what a huge revolution they had brought, people indulge in a futile discussion regarding how many they were some say they were three and their dog was the fourth, others say they were five and their dog was the sixth, and still others guess about what they actually did not know. If they want to drag you also into such a discussion, treat this matter only casually and tell them O Rasool that it is no use discussing a matter about which only Allah knows (as to what their number was). The point to be discussed about is what was their mission and what revolution did they bring about."

Allah is well aware history will be distorted and made to believe that it is the truth... So Allah tries people even with one verse whether they accept loads of stuff fabricated and presented or they believe only one verse which has no supporting evidences to state but verse is clear.. So people are tried... Choose history invented by humans or the one verse of Quran.. "O SISTER of Harun " is more than enough wording to accept Maryam was SISTER of Harun.. But.. People are reluctant.. And reluctant fir what reason? Cuz they have better proofs than QURAN.. Alan's knows who is guided aright and who are misguided.. Anyway having said that let me present below as well..

" O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about IBRAHIM while the Torah and the Injeel were not revealed until after (Min Ba'di) him? Then will you not reason? " 365

By the above glaring verse, we can deduce that ibrahim was not someone who lived thousands of years before Musa but Musa decended just after Ibrahim's grand children's demise or so on, in order for Allah to state that what is stated in the above verse and on top of that for those who argued about Ibrahim's ethnic group... They somehow wanted to claim Ibrahim was a Jewish person... Had Ibrahim lived many centuries before they wouldn't have even attempted to say so..fruitless.. Isn't it.. But they somehow were keen to fabricate and claim he was one of them and perhaps attempting to authenticate that Ibrahim was beginning of Jewish ethnicity.. ... But Allah declines..

Below is an authentic statement with intent by the one who believed in Musa but he concealed his faith in fear of Pharou..

"And YOUSUF had already come to you before (Min Kablu)with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you, until when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a messenger after him.' Thus does Allah leave astray he who is a transgressor and skeptic." 4034

It's obvious Musa has come right after Yousuf as a messenger to the people of Pharou.. It is obvious closest forefathers of people of pharou were warned by YOUSUF then with time Musa arrived..

Above two verses have very strong claim that No one was far away in time like history teaches us.. Allah kept on sending messengers at a continuous process...

Min Kablu and Min Ba'di could be any period before and after respectively but if worded specifically then it can mean immediately before and immediately after respectively..

                                      Note below verse..

They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a Scripture (Quran) revealed after Musa confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path." 4630

Yes.. Above is a statement of group of Jinns... Strangely they didn't say anything about Injeel but they straightaway said after Musa.. It has a valid reason.. The Torah was a complete scripture and needless to look anywhere else for guidance when Torah was complete.. Such a profound book same like Quran.. Perhaps even better.. Allah knows best.. But Injeel which was placed only in Isa is not that kind of book but mainly came to remind and point out what they concealed in Torah which was decended for Allahs favourite people Banee Israel. They definitely were above the alamin (all races) and their book cannot be simple.. That's why Isa was taught even the Torah though he was given with Injeel.. So Quran and Torah are two great revelations of the history... People knew it..
                                      Take a look below

"Yet when the truth came to them 'from Ourselves, they said, 'Why has he not been given the like' of that Musa was given?' But they, did they not disbelieve also in what Musa was given aforetime? They said, 'A pair of sorceries mutually supporting each other.' They said, 'We disbelieve both (Torah and Quran)." 2848

So people knew Injeel was not the level of Torah and Quran.. But by the above verse it further hints that Torah is level higher than QURAN cuz the tone of the people seems they knew what Torah was and Quran is not right up there.. But Allah knows what to reveal..

So... Looking at all evidences, it is pretty obvious that from the time Ibrahim to Mohamed is not far like we are indoctrinated with... But very much constant... If any messenger came to Banee Israel with at least a lapse of being void of messengers then that could only be Mohamed.. But every point of time they always had Messengers in cluster..

Ibrahim was born 2100 years before Jesus and Moses was born 1500 years before Jesus are sheer lies and it has no concrete evidence at all.. Let's for the sake of debate and its solidarity, take the Gregory calender as Jesus's era... Then Ibrahim is not far than 300-400 years from there.. Tone of Quran is clear... People might have lived long years pre-flood era and right after but it won't make Ibrahim saw from Nuh or Hud or Salih etc... They might have born long before to ibrahim but ended very close to Ibrahim..

All verses are in the first clear meaning of self-evident. And some verses have secondary and tertiary or quaternary meanings apart from their primary self-evident meaning, too. But in those verses we must first believe in the first self-evident meaning too.

If the Qur'an is going to make a simile or metaphor, it states it clearly. For example, the Qur'an says, "It is like this and that", and the Qur'an itself explains what it likens to what.

By the way, folk idioms also have a primary clear dictionary meaning in the verses. For example, the sinking of the sun means evening. Or in Turkish we say the sun is borning, meaning it is morning.

In short, the whole book is self-evident. If it were not so, anyone who wishes would say "this is a symbol, do not believe in the first meaning" and cancel that verse in a masked way. And countless cruel people trying do this.

                                          Peace
