That is some serious pulling power that planet has. I for one belive that all this talk about astroids hitting earth is crap. Because anything of a large enough size to do considerable damage would be pulled right into jupiter. I often wondered if that is why jupiter in the old days was a god who was "the protector of heavens".
Most theology on the face of the earth is based on astrology in fact. But the whole idea that our faith is somehow written in the stars. Or in numbers is totally ridiculous, and no amount of "evidence" (that are in fact just play on terms within maths itself) will ever change that.

Astrology is the effect that the planetary bodies have on the earth. I have ALWAYS rejected it, until I opened my mind to it and started to really study it. I am talking about the true science of it, not some newspaper horoscope. I am talking about a astrological chart done by professionals. Also, I am discussing the SIDERAL form of astrology.
I will repeat, astrology is the effect that the planetary bodies have on the earth. For those who may have forgotten, we are created from the earth. Anyone who has toothe aches can understand how the nighttime effects the pain, or how rain effects other types of ailments. How a long stretch of days without sun brings depression, how the sunshine brings happiness. And these are small things.
I just started a class on tuesday about it, so I will be bringing a new thread about this sometime in the future, unless the God wills.
But lastly, just ponder on why the God says they heavenly bodies are subject to us. Everything serves the human being.
